Great space for small family. Caution on noise and smoke during summer season

Check in was super smooth. Property was very clean and well air conditioned. Our only issue was the noise and smoke coming from the pool area which is directly below this unit. During seasons where pool is less likely to be used it shouldn't be a problem, but in the evenings there was loud music, shouting, and smoking directly below us, all coming into the space.

R&R weekend

All in all, it was comfy and tidy. The only issue we had was the birds nesting on the patio, made it s bit messy. Not a big fan of bird poo. But found some joy in the chirping of the baby birds in the morning.

2nd stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I love the location, the size of the property for 2 teens, 1 child, and 1 adult. We enjoyed the pool. The negatives- no lights at all on stairs or down by the pool, I had to go out at night and needed my flashlight which once I put my light on the stairs several big cockroaches scattered below my feet causing me to scream. Thankfully I did not find any inside. Another negative is the smell of the condo this time. It smelled burnt whether from cigarettes or another source I’m not sure but even the linens smelled like it so I washed some things while there. I still feel like it’s decently priced, in a good location and worth trying out. I am not opposed to coming back for our annual trip next year just hope the smell is gone 😂

Great Location

Nice condo close to everything. Clean and roomy. Lots of construction and workmen around all day. There was a problem upon arrival, the staff worked with us and got it resolved, very helpful. Location was great!

Had a nice relaxing weekend Room was hard to find due to no numbers posted for 2nd floor units Room access code didn’t work Room smelt like old furniture and stale cigarette smoke Beds were very comfy Would recommend some fans didn’t stay cool all the time without the doors open to the rooms themselves

We did not stay in this unit. There were several issue with our bookings and we had to change our until three times due to different facility issues. We will not book here again. Our unit needed everyday modernizing. There weren’t enough power outlets, the lighting was bad, we had to use flashlights to get up and down the outside stairs. Our breaker flipped several times every day. We could not use the master shower. This unit should not have been rented during the construction. It was loud and republic waste emptied the dumpster at 6:20 am. I could go on and on but I won’t.

Would stay again!

Loved the location! It was perfect for a family of 4 and could accommodate more! My only wish was that we could have watched kids fishing from the balcony…the balcony overlooked the pool which probably would be great for the summer but could not see kids while fishing…but not a deal breaker, would stay again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice place, very large. Good pool and water access. overall a very good place. Except when we checked in on saturday. The room we had was right above the pool. people were playing music and being very loud(all day and into the night). I went and talked to the last group at 10:30 pm and told them we were fishing at 5 am and needed to sleep.The rest of the stay was quiet and peaceful. If I was to do it again I would ask for a different room.

Great Location

Less than 10 minutes to the beach. This is a second floor unit with an outside entrance. Mosquitos were waiting to ambush us at the door. Be prepared! We didn’t spend time in the condo. It served its purpose.

Very nice place

We loved this place. We came with 6 people. 4 adults, and 1 teenager/1 kid. The beds were very nice, but I recommend the place replace the futon bed. The bottom of their is broken, and only one kid could sleep on it in a weird direction, and not comfortable. We actually brought an extra roll away bed just in case the futon was not big enough for both the kids. I called and let the Padres Escapes people know, and they did not offer a solution or additional bed. So we made do with what we had. We put pillows up under the futon to help a little. The only problem was one pillow got caught up in the hinges and tore. I can not seem to find a place to email Padre Escapes with this. But the place was clean and comfortable otherwise, and the location was great! The residences that live there are not happy that it is a vacation rental location, and they will voice it. But just be nice and respectful and they are all friendly. The wifi did not work while we were there, I let Padre Escapes know, but no one came to fix. Not a big deal, again, we brought our own so it worked out for movies and the news we watched. The place was great. The maintenance man, CJ, was fast to communicate and came to take pictures of the bed. Bring your own seasonings, which they do mention in their description. And bring your fishing items for the great deck/fishing area! Thank you for opening up your place to my family for this stay/getaway to one of our favorite towns in Texas.
