Perfect Vacation Home for Every Season in Downtown Winter Park

This beautiful townhouse is in the perfect location to enjoy all Grand County has to offer! We are only a 3 minute walk down the Vasquez Creek bike path to the center of Winter Park where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Hideaway Park, the site of a sled riding hill and skate park for the kids, is only a 2 minute walk. The new Winter Park Music Pavilion is also located in Hideaway Park and is the site for a series of concerts all summer long. For skiers, there is a shuttle stop less than 100 yards from the townhouse that will drop you right at the base of the Winter Park Ski Resort. If you prefer to drive yourself, it is only a 5 minute drive to the main parking lot at the resort. The townhouse is located right on Vasquez Creek, so any guests interested in fly fishing can walk right out the door and fish the Vasquez or walk 2 minutes to Confluence Park, where the Fraser River offers some of the best fly fishing in Colorado.

Other nearby winter activities include the tubing hills at Winter Park and Fraser, which are only 5 miles away. There are several snowmobiling companies based in Winter Park, Fraser, and Grand Lake, which is about 40 minutes from Winter Park and boasts the best snowmobiling in Colorado. There are also cross country skiing trails, sled dog rides, and sleigh rides all within 5 miles of Winter Park.

In the summer, there are many hiking and biking trails accessible from the townhouse. There are also hundreds more hiking trails all around Grand County that provide a variety of terrain. The Colorado River is only 30 minutes away and offers great white water rafting an float fly fishing trips. For boaters, Granby Lake, Shadow Mountain Lake, and Grand Lake are all within 45 minutes of Winter Park and offer motor boat rentals, kayaking, and wind surfing.

In addition to the perfect location, our townhouse has four glorious floors of beauty and top end furnishings that create a spacious and relaxing spot to retreat. The townhouse comfortably sleeps 10+. It has a main floor living area, gourmet kitchen and dining area, plus a complete entertainment room and second living area downstairs. The unit has two master suites with king size beds and private bathrooms, a main level bedroom with a queen bed, and a bunk room with two bunks and a trundle bed. There is also a loft office area and two HUGE decks for entertaining.

Amenities: Large Private Outdoor Hot Tub, Fireplace, Gas Grill, 4 Flatscreen TV's, Steam Shower, Walk-In Closets, Stereo, Wireless Internet and Cable TV, and efficient in-floor radiant heating.

This was one of the best ski houses weā€™ve ever stayed in. Well-stocked pantry, lots of toiletries, big hot tub, great common space, logins to many different streaming services, and great location (super close to the bus, tubing hill, and walkable to multiple restaurants). The host was very responsive and helpful. Definite 5-star stay!

This is such a beautiful home! It was so comfortable for everyone who stayed! This house had everything we needed and then some! We cooked dinner at home every night and appreciated the stocked cabinets! We loved how close the home was to restaurants, coffee shops, and the ski shuttle. The host responded to me whenever I needed him. I would recommend this VRBO in a heartbeat.

Great property in a perfect location! The best-stocked kitchen weā€™ve ever encountered in a rental, no dull knives or battered old pans here. Beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space for 3 families to spread out. Enjoy the peaceful sounds of the river and the convenient access to many trails!

Beautiful Christmas Vacation Stay

We had a wonderful time in this lovely home. It was convenient to the ski shuttle and nearby restaurants and shopping, very short drive to Winter Park and Fraser, comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. Feb ski weekend

We had an amazing time at this winter park home! It has everything you need from a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels for hot tub, bath items etc. The location canā€™t be beat! Right next to sledding hill, mainstreet shops and the Lyft ski bus. This home is well taken care!

Great Ski Trip

Fantastic family ski trip

We were a group of 8, lots of room to spread out in this home, very well stocked with all the amenities and more, so close to the ski shuttle route, we had an amazing time! Bill is a great host, so easy to communicate with, he answered my few questions promptly, we had a one year old in our group, there was a pack n play with sheets a high chair and ample toys, this made things so easy! We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Fantastic!

We stayed here for a week with our four kids and loved it! Bill's place is well appointed, conveniently located, and spacious but cozy. We loved the creek out back and enjoyed the hot tub every night. We will be back!

Winter Park/Jazz festival

Winter fun in WP

We decided that we would stay within walking distance of restaurants / town but very near a Lift stop (bus) to get to the slopes. It was a great decision! Loved the condo. With 6 adults, we each had lovely rooms separated by the half levels of the condo making it very quiet. We all love to cook and felt that this kitchen was up to par, not common in many rentals. Wonderful to have views of trees and the creek and yes, we enjoyed apre ski hot tub!

Great place, feels like home

Great townhouse close to town and the park, perfect for Winter trips to go sledding. Short walk to the Lift stop (Ski shuttle). House is perfect for a large family as the floors are spread out (just be ready to get your steps in going up and down the 5 levels of the house). Every amenity and item you could think of in the kitchen. Very thankful that the kitchen is well stocked - it's like walking into your own home. Hot tub and grill are in nice working order. Lots of toys and games for the family (my toddler had a blast with all the toys). Only downside is the garage is occupied and not for use. You can access it though to store skis and items but can't park a car. Ultimately this wasn't a big deal but having to clean off the car every day from overnight snow dumps was a bit of a pain. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Christmas Getaway

We spent Christmas in Winter Park, and this property was a fantastic home base for our holiday ski trip. We have stayed at many VRBO properties, and this home was by far the most well-appointed with all of the supplies and amenities you might need when away from home. The owners have not missed a single detail. We had two families in our party, both with young children, and this home felt incredibly comfortable and spacious. Two master suites is a huge bonus for multiple families. You canā€™t go wrong with this booking!

Like staying in someone's home vs a vacation rental

I can't say enough about this property. The home was stocked with everything you can imagine you may need during a stay. It was like someone opened the door to their home and said " use whatever you need" (with the exception of personal belongings) . Seriously - from the kitchen to baskets that have handwarmers in them to the toiletries provided, everything about this property is exceptional. We are staying here again next month and can't wait to go back.

Location was great. Townhouse had plenty of room for three families. Each family was able to have their own floor and private bathroom. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need. Owners were very responsive and easy to communicate with. 100% would stay here again!
