Super clean, super comfortable 4 bedroom home with incredible water and mountain views. Private, quiet and all yours. Watch the sun (and moon) rise, eagles and sailboats on the bay, Mount Baker and the Cascades from the large, wrap around deck (with radiant heater and gas barbecue). Private back yard includes patio table for 6, lawn chairs for afternoon tanning/relaxing and year round (Anna's) hummingbirds. Fully equipped kitchen with gas range, refrigerator and dishwasher. Dining room table (with extension) seats 8. Living room with fantastic 180 degree water views with gas fireplace makes a stormy winter day a pleasure! Has 4 large bedrooms (with closets and chest/drawers) including large master bedroom with king bed and attached/private bath. Includes (very nice) washer/dryer.
Large, fully fenced in yard (let the kids and dogs run!) with lawn, fruit tree, berries (in season) and gorgeous flowers (I invite guests to pick a 1 flower in exchange for pulling 1 weed - and to pick a full bouquet daily)!
Plenty of parking. House is located on a dead end street great in a nice rural neighborhood; great location for walking, biking or just hanging out.
Less than 5 minutes to downtown Oak Harbor, 10 minutes to Coupeville and 20 minutes to Deception Pass.Many great beaches with easy public access located nearby.
For those that are bird lovers, we work hard to keep our locals and transients happy. Finches, quail, doves, towhees, sparrows, flickers, woodpeckers and hummingbirds (just to name a few) abound. Book now for the April Tulip Festival (Mt Vernon) and late April through the end of -June for the annual Rufous hummingbird migration when you can see hundreds (really - hundreds!) of hummingbirds enjoying the multiple feeders we have set up.
If last minute dates are available (1 or 2 days out, especially during the slow season/non holidays), chances are good that I'll be willing to negotiate the nightly rate.
Our goal is to have our quests come back again and again, and let their friends know this is the place to stay when visiting Whidbey Island.

Great space for two couples and two singles - plus the pooch. Large, spacious yard for the dog, and big deck area. Everything was well stocked as well with things like salt, sugar, olive oil. Property manager very attentive and accommodating.

Fantastic and Cozy

Tim, the host, goes above and beyond to be sure everything is perfect. There is a book of very detailed instructions to operate all the conveniences this lovely home provides. Well stocked kitchen. Grocery store nearby that offers delivery (Walmart & Safeway). House is CLEAN!

Lovely weekend

The house is very welcoming and comfortable. Lots of space, indoors and outdoors, for sitting and visiting. Each of the bedrooms are very nice; the master bedroom is beautiful. The yard is large and very well kept.

Beautiful view and gardens.

The home is cozy with a great fireplace, aquariums, many house plants, and comfy beds. Three of us gals stayed two nights to celebrate a dear friend's wedding. The weather was wet and windy or we would've loved to use the bbq and enjoy the deck. Tim, the host was so kind and helpful, couldn't ask for a nicer guy and willing to accommodate us.

Great property & location

Learn from my mistake. Be sure you know the check-in procedure, including door code, before you arrive. (Not just for this property but ANY rental property). Also have a backup contact person you can reach. In this case, I was unable to reach the owner due to a cellphone problem. Poor planning on my part and an untimely cellphone failure on the owner's resulted in a frustrating arrival/entry. Once we were able to get in we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. Great yard for the dog! Fantastic location and views! Definitely recommend.

Fabulous stay and wonderful yard

We had a great stay and were particularly enchanted by the yard and outdoor living space. The yard is huge and our dog had the best time. We also loved watching the hummingbirds dart around us as we sat on the heated front deck. The house was clean and well-appointed. Had everything we needed. The host was kind and easy to get ahold of. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Slumber Party gathering

We have been gathering at the Beach House for an annual mother/daughter slumber party for a number of years. We have never been disappointed in the cleanliness, well-appointed kitchen, and thoughtfulness in which Tim has outfitted the house for his guests' comfort. No complaints. Only compliments.

Wonderful Property

Our family of five really enjoyed our three night stay here. The very clean and well kept house and surrounding property is very spacious and comfortable, with an amazing view. Owners were very nice and responsive. Book here you won't regret it.

Perfect location great accommodations.

We just moved to the island and needed a place close by that allowed dogs while the movers moved us in... this was perfect. It was warm... cozy and the fenced in yard was perfect

Great spot!

This was an amazing place to getaway to and work remotely for the week! 3 rooms had their own desks, the jet noise is minimal, and we LOVED the view. The kitchen was stocked with everything we might need, and we spent a lot of time cozy in front of the fireplace. The yard was perfect for our dog. Would definitely come back.

Annual family gathering

The Beach House has become the go-to location for our annual mother/daughter/sister/granddaughter slumber party. It's perfectly set up for together time--a fully appointed kitchen for meals together, the cozy gas fireplace, and thoughtful touches for guests' comfort. Tim goes out of his way to make sure our stay each year is trouble-free so we can focus on being together.

Beautiful View

We were very comfortable at this property and especially enjoyed sitting on the deck, under the heating unit, enjoying the beautiful view. The gardens were lovely and the veggies were delicious!

Great location, super clean - COZY - with lots of room! Whidbey is a special place - and so is this home! Priced right - especially compared to other properties that don't come close to what this home offers; large master bedroom and 3 additional full sized bedrooms (= 4) Also 2 full sized couches in living room. On dead end road, great for walks, bike rides, bird watching, storm watching on the bay from the living room and deck (my favorite). Fully fenced yard is great for keeping pets (and kids) enclosed. Amazing views inside and out. Quiet, beautiful place you will not want to leave.

Fully equipped kitchen, amazing deck (with outdoor radiant heater and full sized barbecue), simply killer views from every room/window, large fenced lawn/yard, kitchen, 4 full sized rooms. High speed internet and cable TV in master and living room. TV/DVD player in other room is great for kids and video games .Great set up for cooking, entertaining and for watching your favorite football games. Perfect for couples, those with kids and business travelers. Thinking about two rooms in a hotel? Just say NO!
