Welcome to Beachy Keen on Sanibel Island! Did you know, Sanibel is named the “Shelling Capital of the World” so come prepared to find over 250 species of different shells on our beaches! Our island-vibe home was built in 2014 and is located mid-island, on one of the most desired streets on Sanibel with designated owner/renter access to the most beautiful, private beach, the island has to offer! Beachy Keen is equipped with a chefs dream kitchen fully stocked with most of your cooking needs. Spacious dining room table that seats 6 with 3 additional stools at kitchen island, 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, and a great screened in back lanai.
Open concept home with spacious living room - large deep cushioned sectional, that seats 6 people comfortably, along with a chair and ottomans for seating. Large 75” smart TV in living room, all make this a cozy retreat after a long day of shelling. Master bedroom has a king size bed, 55” TV and a bathroom equipped with a double vanity, a deep soaking tub and a walk-in shower. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed and TV and the 3rd bedroom has a king size bed and TV. Both spare bedrooms are joined by a Jack-n-Jill bathroom with a walk-in shower. All bedrooms have comfy linens and plenty of pillows and blankets. There's also a half bath in main living area.
The home has a washer and dryer in a designated space to make laundry a breeze.

From Beachy Keen its just a short walk to the beach or less than a minute drive. With a permitted beach parking lot at end of street. (pass will be provided to renters). Renters may also decide to rent a golf cart or bikes, to ride to the beach. All of Sanibel beaches allow dogs with a leash on. Furry friends are also allowed at our home !!! (Additional fee) This home is on stilts, so stairs are required to gain access to the front door and is not handicap accessible. Covered parking for 4 cars under the house, additional parking in driveway. We are located mid island, far enough away from the traffic but close to all the great restaurants and shopping.

If you would like cleaning during your stay that can be arranged for an additional charge. Our island home is decorated with beach colors and is mermaid themed, it's a very comfy, cozy home that will make you feel like you’re living the true island life! This is why we call our home Beachy Keen!!

Across the road is Ding Darling Wild Life Refuge (main entrance 1.9 miles away), where you can see most of what nature has to offer in Southwest Florida including: alligators, birds, manatees, fish, dolphins and so much more!!! Only 3.2 miles up the road you will find the only Shell Museum in the world! And if you’re a foodie, you’ll be in heaven with the quaint restaurants on the island. Did you know that Sanibel Island has a dark sky compliance, which means no street lights anywhere on island making the stars at night look like something from out of this world! Perfect for a night time stroll on the beach to stargaze.

After a long day on the beach hauling all your shells enjoy rinsing off in our secluded, outdoor zen garden shower area including hot water! Great way to end the day after the beach and to rinse off the salt and sand. We will be delighted to host your stay and know you will be so pleased with our home with our special touches and the close attention to detailed to assure you have a memorable vacation.

Although the island vegetation has been impacted by the hurricanes, its slowly growing back and the birds are even more visible than ever before including Bald Eagles, Egrets, Herons, Roseate Spoonbills, Storks, Ospreys, Ibis, Pelicans, Flamingos, White Pelicans and so many more! And ready to entertain you daily. So be sure to have your camera ready while sipping your morning coffee on the back lanai and grab your binoculars while in your pjs to check out this spectacular show and prepare your mind for a shelling day on our spectacular beach. After all , you’re on vacation….time to unwind, relax and enjoy, we got you covered literally with the best roof in town!
