Stylish North End Cottage in a Prime Location

This cottage is decorated in a clean and modern style with lots of art. Many of the works are local artist; Ward Hooper, Evelyne Brigeois and Toby Davis to name a few.

The cottage is stocked with everything you will need to enjoy your stay in Boise including 1 Gig, fiber internet and two cruisers bikes to ride downtown; we have you covered for business and fun. If you are traveling with another group check to see if one of our other two cottages are available.

We want to make sure you are comfortable. The pillow top mattress, down duvet, and high thread count cotton linens at the cottage make for a restful nights sleep without the luxury hotel price! In the bath you will find plush, long staple cotton towels. When we travel we have always appreciated these important touches and hope they will make your stay more enjoyable at the cottage.

The front porch is a great space to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Most everyone waves or says hi as they walk by. If you would like a more private outdoor space the brick patio is screened from the street and surrounded by landscape. It has a BBQ and table and chairs to enjoy a meal outside on sunny days.

There are laundry facilities and a reading space in the lower level next door. There is a key in the kitchen to access this space.

We love to meet guests and give them a tour of the home and any info that may make their stay better. We love talking about Boise and all there is to do, see and eat here. We are easy to get in touch with if you need anything during your stay.

Whether you are new to Boise or planning a staycation in the North End the cottage is a great location from which to explore it all! Stay for a weekend and you'll know what the North End lifestyle is all about.

Great location, cozy cottage, bikes were awesome & a great value too

Nothing but great things to say about this cottage. Owners are friendly and responsive. Everything was just as advertised. Great neighborhood and super easy to bike to downtown, the greenbelt, Boise State campus, etc. Excellent way to visit and explore Boise. No need for a rental car if you fly, just use ride share from the airport and back. Otherwise we used the bikes. Perfect rental for a couple that needs a convenient place to stay, while enjoying the city like locals do.

Cizy cottage

Love the location, cottage was clean. When we arrived, the toilet paper holder was not operational and was sitting on the toilet. There was only one small bar of soap, no extra toilet paper and the toilet paper that was supposed to be on the holder was not even a full one. Because of the excess condensation in the cottage, there was a dehumidifier which was full of stale water, but even with it going all the time, it was extremely humid with moister running down the wall and onto the floor, and it caused my arthritis to flare up. The listing said that there was on-site parking when in actuality they meant on street parking. The owners did accommodate us with this, however. Unfortunately, we cut our stay short.

Perfect little cottage in a great location with amazingly nice owners!

I was in Boise on business for 3 days & wanted to extend my stay for the weekend so I could spend some time with our son, who is a sophomore at BSU. I was staying at the Hampton Inn, but wanted to get into a VRBO home in the North End, so I could be close enough to downtown to walk for dinner, as well I was tired of being cramped up in a hotel room with the AC running at night because none of the windows open at the Hampton Inn. I looked on VRBO and found the great little cottage around 10pm on my last night in the hotel & got an immediate response from Jill & Darrin and we finalized the reservation & that I could check in the next morning so I could go spend the day with my son! I met Jill & Darrin at the property the next morning and got a quick tour of the home and a personalized code for the front door lock, which is way cool, so you don't have to worry about carrying a house key around and/or losing it! The cottage itself is cute as can be. It has everything you need to be comfortable....especially the bed! One of the most comfortable beds I've slept on in a rental property ever, with high quality linens, comforter and pillows! This cottage obviously was recently remodeled, because everything in it is like brand new; from the appliances in the kitchen, to the tile in the shower and on the bathroom floor, as well the shower head, which works great as well, unlike so many vacation rental properties where you can't take a good shower....no problem here! And high quality towels also! Just an overall great experience, walked downtown every night & enjoyed some great meals at my favorite BODO restaurants. Was even able to have a cocktail & a glass of wine, without having to worry about driving home! Didn't have to fuss with parking my car downtown either! Oh yeah, one more off-topic thing; I was watching the Boise news on Saturday morning on the quality Samsung TV in the living room of the cottage, & the local Boise weatherman Larry Gebert was covering the beginning of the Downtown Boise Veteran's Day Parade...and I realized it was only a few blocks away, so I turned the TV off & walked down 6th street to where the parade was right by the Capital building and there was Larry running back and forth interviewing people in the parade! I watched the rest of the parade & visited the outdoor market on 8th Street...it was a cool experience! Bottom line; stay in this great North End Cottage next time you're in Boise! Great property with amazing owners!

Hosts very friendly. This location was very quiet which made for good sleeping as did the super comfy bed. Cottage looked just like the photos - cute as a button.

Charming cottage in a great neighborhood!

The cottage was charming. We loved the local art, the patio and front porch, and the ambience of the neighborhood couldn't be better. The cottage is a short walk from Hyde Park with great shops and restaurants. Having bikes was a huge plus. We were able to bike to the greenbelt and throughout the North End. The owners responded quickly to any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great cottage with perfect location.

This cottage is perfect for long term and short term rentals. It has everything you need for an extended stay. Darrin and Jill were amazing hosts and you can’t beat the location!

Perfect location for the total Boise experience

The ONLY reason I gave the location 4 stars instead of 5 was due to road construction directly in front of the property. Darrin was quick to communicate the construction as it was last minute knowledge for him as well. Thankfully it was a weekend stay, so work ended just as we arrived and began again just as we were leaving. Other than that, this location was PERFECT! We had planned to hike and eat our way through Boise and we were able to do that and more! 5 minutes to downtown and only 30 minutes to Bogus Basin. The cottage is well appointed with the essentials and has a cozy vibe. We did not use the bicycles provided this time around, but definitely would do so during our next stay. I would highly recommend Foxwoods Cottages for your stay in Boise.

Great visit!

We live in the neighborhood and rented this beautiful cottage for my mother in law to stay in during her visit. It was perfect and we will definitely rent it again when other visitors come to town.

What a great cozy place to stay in N Boise. The cottage was spotless, quiet and the owners were there if you needed anything. Of course, we didn't need a thing. Highly recommend!

Super Cozy!

This place is wonderful. The location is perfect! Easy walk to downtown and Hyde Park. This was a working vacation for part of our trip and the internet was excellent! The owners are so nice and easy to get a hold of. Definitely come back!

Cozy & Fabulous

Such a wonderful cottage for 1-2 people. Everything you need, great location in North end of Boise, big beautiful trees, quiet, just 3 minutes from the Boise Co-op and very easy drive to downtown. The cottage was beautifully decorated and I felt my stress melt away as soon as I walked in. I liked it so much I booked their second property (a little bigger sq. ft. ) for Thanksgiving. Better than a hotel, I will keep this property top of the list when I travel to Boise.

A lovely place to stay

It was easy to communicate with the owners. The place was comfortable and the bikes were a nice added bonus. Kitchen was well stocked and made it easy to cook some of our meals.

Lovely Stay

The cottage could not have been more perfect for our 7 night stay. Wonderful, historic, quiet neighborhood, all amenities as shown on website, clean as a whistle, tastefully furnished. Darrin & Jill were kind enough to meet us on arrival to tour us around the cottage. We texted them a few times and they always got back to us immediately. Great service and friendly owners! We put the bikes to good use, as well as enjoying the BBQ and outdoor eating area. This charming cottage is definitely where you want to stay when you visit Boise. Thanks for everything, Darrin & Jill!

We both moved from Southern California about 16 years ago and love it. We met in Boise and enjoy everything about the city and surrounding area. Hiking, biking, and just cruising down the green belt or to one of the many great and unique restaurants downtown.

The North End has so much character many, many architectural styles, great old trees and it is so close to the downtown area with all the great coffee shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The cottage is a bright, fun place to hang out with a number of patios to enjoy in the spring and summer. Comfort is important so we have paid attention to the details to make this feel like home. People have told us they enjoy staying in a unique home that reflects the character of the area. Vanilla chain hotels are just not as much fun and few come with a kitchen and bikes!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Loads of charm in a great location... with the added bonus of a nice collection of paintings by local artists. Beauty inside and out.. it's a good thing. This is an old fashioned grid neighborhood with huge trees. It's fun to just walk around and take in the views. Vintage homes, parks and close enough to everything that you can park your car and walk to it all. You will not be disappointed in the dining offerings in downtown Boise. When was the last time you went to a show, had dinner at a great restaurant and then walked home at the end of the evening? Welcome to the North End lifestyle.

We appreciate the little touches like Egyptian cotton towels and quality high thread count sheets when we travel so we have included these things at the cottage for our guests.
