Sunset Shack at Verandas by the Sea is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom ocean view, end unit, recently renovated condo with a new kitchen and luxury tiled waterfall shower. There is also a balcony with which to take in the spectacular sunsets and a west-facing window which allows for ample natural lighting. Enjoy the spacious balcony with panoramic, sliding glass doors. Relax on the balcony and take in the expansive views of the beach and ocean. The spacious master bedroom contains two ultra comfortable queen beds with new mattresses. Custom wood flooring throughout the living and bedroom areas, tile flooring in the kitchen and bathroom, and a full kitchen with a built in microwave, toaster, and Keurig/coffee maker. There is also a well-hidden murphy bed in a closet just off the living room which offers additional sleeping arrangements.

Your retreat at Sunset Shack offers something for everyone of all ages and interests. This cozy condo is in close proximity to all the entertainment the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach has to offer, including an amusement park, pavilion on the beach, live beach music and dancing clubs, and a variety of great dining options, all within easy walking distance. Most importantly, it is located on the ocean and offers some of the best ocean views in the building. The fact that the balcony is oriented toward the south also allows for taking in the spectacular sunsets while watching the surf roll in.

Whether you want to kayak the salt marshes just up the road, swim/play in the ocean, enjoy the picturesque, spacious oceanfront heated pool, lazy river, hot tub, and sundeck, or head out just a few blocks down the beach to all the entertainment Ocean Drive has to offer, consider this condo for you!

If you just want to relax, you don't have to leave the condo to be inspired by the spectacular beach vista and soothing sounds of the ocean. This is beach living and you set the pace!

Consider this cozy condo on the shores of the majestic Atlantic your oceanside retreat where you can enjoy all that beach living has to offer! Go golfin' after swimmin' with a dolphin', shop with a porpoise, or dance the shag like the moonlight on the water. Sunset Shack has several flavors to suit your saltwater tastes!

All linens, washrags, and towels are provided upon request for a fee of $25.00 per bed. Additional amenities include free onsite covered parking, two elevators, cable TVs, free Wifi, a Bose Radio, and a coffee maker.

I also have a studio condo in St. Augustine, Florida, right on the beach with an obstructed ocean view (no balcony), and heated, year-round swimming pool, which we call Saltwater Suite. It is titled "Stunning Seaside Studio Condo With King Bed & Heated Pool, Steps To Beach!" (Listing ID: 2392146). It has received wonderful reviews since it has been listed.

Beach front condo

Hubby and I enjoyed staying at Carlā€™s beach front condo. Swimming pool/lazy river area got the morning sun. The balcony on this side-facing property also received the afternoon sun. Great location! Convenient to grocery stores and restaurants.

Upscale touches

47 day stay was very comfortable. Carl was very quick in rectifying any issue and everything in the condo was purchased for the use of his family and, therefore, of the best quality and thoughtfully purchased. It is in an excellent location and the beach could not have been more beautiful.

The absolute best condo I have stayed in at Myrtle Beach. The condo itself was very nice. Everything needed in a home was there. The location was the best. If it isnā€™t walking distance.. it isnā€™t a far drive. The host was readily available.. I will stay here every time I visit.

Wonderful Condo on the Beach

Great location especially to Main Street. Several stores, dance clubs, and restaurants within a couple of blocks. Just like home the Condo had everything we needed. Very clean and well kept. Great amenities and of course the beach. We would definitely recommend this for anyone and we will be back soon.

On North .Myrtle Beach

This 1 BR condo is perfectly located right on the beautiful beach and a short walk to the center of town. While the unit is small it has everything you would need. It is not plush, but it is pleasant. The beds were all very comfortable. The owner, Carl, was fantastic to work with and immediately jumped on solving the couple of minor issues that came up. Then Covid hit and Carl was immediately on the phone to tell me he would support whatever I needed to do which took a lot of pressure off during a stressful time. I would not hesitate to rent from Carl again.

Wonderful location within walking distance of many nice shops and restaurants.

We truly enjoyed our stay, everything was wonderful. We found some local restaurants within 1-2 miles that were wonderful. The room was well equipped for what we needed. The pool, lazy river was small but adequately sized for the amount of residents. Never felt over crowded. As we were there for the 4th of July we enjoyed some awesome fireworks on the beach. Amazing trip.

Perfect Condo for a Small Family

My husband, 2 year-old-daughter, and I stayed here for 4 nights/4 days. The condo had the perfect amount of space for us. We really enjoyed the view and the location! Carl was an excellent host and answered all of our questions promptly. I would recommend this condo to other families looking for a nice place to stay while in North Myrtle Beach!

Clean and comfortable

With a picky little eater, it was nice to have everything there that we needed for a little light cooking. Clean and comfortable beds. My favorite was there were chairs, an umbrella, and beach toys that we could use. That was a first and saved packing space! Perfect place if you have kids that love the beach!!

Perfect Family Vacation Spot

Our family had a fantastic stay at this condo! The unit itself was very clean, well cared for and had a beautiful ocean view from the balcony, perfect for morning coffee. The amenities at the property were also very well maintained, our kids loved the pool and lazy river and the beach was only a short walk away, very convenient. We loved North Myrtle Beach for our family, the beaches are beautiful and there are many fun things to do in the area. We will definitely be returning and would certainly stay at the Beach Lover's Condo again!

Wonderful Experience on the Beach!!!

ā€œCarl made my first experience renting directly through an owner a great one. The standard has been set for our next host and it's a pretty high one. The communication was spot-on and expectations were properly set. Not one thing was overpromised and/or under delivered. The location was perfect and the place couldn't have been any cleaner. The family loved Carl's place and we had one of our best vacations. I highly recommend Carl's condo if you're looking for a great place at the beach in North Myrtle.ā€

Super Cute condo with a great side view of Ocean

Super Cute condo with a great side view of Ocean. Condo is at end of hall so it's very quiet which makes resting in the comfy beds so much better. The kitchen is stocked with you basic cooking needs (no wine glasses though). It is right on the beach which we loved! We plan on coming back with our kids soon. Carl was a wonderful help and very quick to reply.

Be sure to see Midnight Allie and Gary Lowder and Smokin Hot if you like shag music. Carl was very easy to work with an answered our questions quickly.ā™„ļø The bed was comfortable and furniture was updated.

Sunset Shack

Sunset Shack is an immaculate, adorable condo that had room for all of my organizational needs. The updated decor and extra window on this end unit made it bright and sunny. I thoroughly enjoyed the lazy river, hot tub, and heated pool, as well as being right on the beach. The building overall was well maintained and the staff very friendly. Carl was readily available to answer all of my questions. I'll definitely stay here again!
