This 2 bedroom with loft condo has a great view of the ocean from its private lanai! Room amenities include air conditioning, ceiling fans, high speed internet, cable TV, private lanai, washer and dryer, full kitchen, and in-room safe. Surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds, walk to Kihei’s Kamaole Beach Park III across the street and return to the condo complex for a dip in one of the two pools followed by home barbecued meal.

Great location

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at the Hale Kamaole before and we love the location. This unit was a bit dated and carpets were dirty. We were sent the wrong door code, so we were not able to get in when we arrived late at night. Because we are not from the US, we had to make a long distance call to ask for the correct code. We were able to get in, but then we were sent the code by text but it was sent as an image instead of just the number so we had to pay to download that as well. On our last day there was a planned water was shut off on the property. Other than those issues, we enjoyed our stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo is in need of update and deep clean. We had family in other units near by and all were much nicer...we hung out at their units. As examples of need for deep clean, we wiped down kitchen areas and wipes were very dirty (counters, cabinets, light switches), top of fridge had not been cleaned, loft railing was completely dirty, edges of carpet has not been cleaned and ceiling in main bedroom has accumulated years of dust it appears. Cabinets and furniture and items for use are all very worn. Based on condition it merely functioned as a place to sleep and shower.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was spacious and clean. A little outdate. Dining chairs where very flimsy and felt like they were about to break. The loft was not the same as the photos and the sofabed was extremely uncomfortable since the sofa mattress was only about 2 inches thick. The downstairs bathroom door was not on right and you can see though it while someone is in the bathroom therefore no real privacy. The downstairs sofa was very dirty and we had to take out several huge roaches. Overall we knew what we were getting for the price. We are not the type to complain and realistically the condo served it's purpose.

Across from iconic Kamaole 3 beach and walking distance to restaurants, Hale Kamaole is a great way to spend time with friends & family!

Lovely Kihei Beachside Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location with view of whale watching/ocean from balcony. Beds very comfy (brand new twin beds). Clean & tidy, good kitchen set-up with great big, easy to use cupboard over island.Beach umbrella could use an update to "screw-in" and main door was really hard to close/lock. Suggest either changing internal locking door knobs or providing keys for current knobs (our 2 year old locked himself in the bathroom and maintenance had to jimmy the door open, thankfully no harm done.)

We were happy with the location, and it was adequately equipped, but the unit itself was quite shabby, with dirty carpets, sticky handrail, completely worn out and ucomfortable furniture. It was obvious that it had not been adequately deep cleaned nor maintainted for a long time.

Lots of space for our family of 52. The gardens are beautiful 3. The new King mattress (and plush bath towels)4. Convenience - easy check in/out, in-suite laundry, located close to 3 beaches and a park, stocked with most kitchen items we needed5. The unit was very cleanOur stay could have been improved by:1. Removing the door to the laundry. It doesn’t close, so it is just in the way of accessing the second bedroom 2. Beach chairs 3. It’s time to update the carpet

Nice Place - Poor Kitchen

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the experience was good and the location can’t be beat. Unit was generally clean (except carpets were badly stained in several locations). Staff replaced a moldy coffee maker and toaster that was falling appart. There were no measuring cups, very few glasses and a hodge podge of dishware and flatware. We purchased and left wine and water glasses, a four-piece set of white dishware, a 2 cup measuring cup and a glass bowl/with lid and a set of non-stick frying pans. We purchased SOS pads to clean the burned stainless steel frying pan and had to was most of the utensils and pots before we could use them as they were filthy. The stove top was not level and made cooking challenging. The refrigerator door seal was failing and the sheves in the door were missing or failing. The sofa looked good but it was worn out and hard to sit on (no support). The living room chair was badly stained and no one wanted to sit on it. The exterior of the buildings and landscaping are well maintained and we appreciate the daily cleaning of the BBQ’s, especially given the kitchen was challenging.

The location within Maui was perfect. We did day trips all over the island from here. It was a lovey family vacation and highly recommend this complex.

Need TLC but great location

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As always Hale Kameole is fantastic. However, we won't be back to 262. There have been some recent furniture updates but they did not remove the old - we literally had to stack tables on top of each other to make use of the sofabed. There were not enough linens to use the sofabed (staff fixed this after the first night). There were pillow cases for six pillows, there were about 10 very soft pillows so we had to ask for more to covers to use them to sleep comfortably. The carpets are pretty worn and dingy at this point - and past the point of wear to "ugh, what's that stain?" We expect cockroaches in the tropics but we saw a couple a day instead of a couple over the two weeks. Basic kitchen supplies are lacking - we had to ask for cutlery as there were only 3 knives, there was only one pot with a fitting lid. There weren't enough glasses - they had to be washed every meal for 6 people to each have a glass. The beach supply closet was well stocked with a variety of things to use.

The condo was clean, comfortable and definitely was equipped better than we could have imagined. The view was amazing and the very short walk to the beach was great. Great vacation stay in Kihei

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, walking distance to the nice sandy beach with showers and bathrooms. Unit had beach equipment available in good conditions.Plenty of beach towels were available. Kitchen could be little more equipped but we managed with one pan and pot that was available. Over all unit has a great set up,extra pull out couch in the loft was great bonus. We would definitely come back!!
