Set in beautifully landscaped Hale Kamaole complex, Unit 255 features a private lanai with beautiful ocean views across from Kamaole III beach -- named one of the top beaches in the world! The beach has a gentle surf with full time life guards on duty. Located away from South Kihei Road in Building 6, this unit has over 1300 sq ft of living space. The beautiful pool is located just steps from the unit, along with the pickleball/tennis court and BBQ's. Ample free parking provided on site and no resort fees make this a great complex. Located within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and attractions, this condo is a great base for exploring Maui!

The main floor has a new fully equipped kitchen, complete with granite counters and dishwasher. The dining room and living room are tastefully decorated in a relaxed beach home style. The shaded lanai has views to the ocean, West Maui mountains and the pool. There is a large bedroom with 2 twin beds, A/C, ceiling fan and plenty of storage. Main floor bathroom has been recently remodeled with a new vanity with granite counter tops. An in suite washer/dryer complete the main floor.

The 2nd floor has a loft area with a queen bed overlooking the living area, complete with a ceiling fan. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, A/C, ceiling fan and large ensuite with walk-in shower and has been recently remodeled with a new vanity with granite counter top.

Cable television on both levels, including large 'Smart TV' in the living room, free wifi, washer/dryer, telephone includes free unlimited calling to Canada and the United States. Beach chairs, coolers and other beach equipment located in the lanai closet for your convenience. Laundromat also available on site near tennis court.

Our preferred minimum stay is 7 nights. This is a NON SMOKING unit and NO PETS are allowed. Please note there is a minimum stay of 14 Nights over the Holiday Season.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hale Kamaole. The location was great, the condo was well-stocked and comfortable. It was def very warm, but the ceiling fans did a good job cooling the unit. And when it got too warm, we cooled off using the bedroom AC units. Or jumped in the pool. I would recommend staying here.

Excellent place to stay with kids

This is our second time staying at this complex (first time in this unit). We have small kids, so we love being just across the street from the beach, 2 pools for the kids to swim in when they are tired of the beach, full kitchen plus access to grills means we can mostly eat at the condo. The bedrooms stayed a comfortable temperature at night with the A/C units running and beds were relatively comfortable. I'm glad we didn't need to use the bed in the loft area because it would have been pretty warm to sleep there in July (probably fine in winter months when it cools off a little more at night), though they did provide plenty of fans. They had lots of stuff available for us to use at the beach, so we didn't need to bring or rent anything. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Kihei location and great host!

We stayed at this property for our first family vacation since 2018. It's a great Kihei location with access to Kamaole III which is awesome for family relaxing and some decent snorkeling. Also super close the The Cove surf break if you want to try surfing...although Cove was crazy crowded. The unit has tonnes of space and lots of amenities in terms of beach supplies (cooler, boogie boards, snorkel sets, you name it). The communication and support provide by the host/owner's representative was top notch...you won't experience better responsiveness, care and support. Only constructive feedback is that the unit is moving in the dated direction and could have been cleaner; e.g. grime in the dishwasher...the dishwasher maybe needs replacing. Overall though, definite recommend for good value.

Spring break 2025

Our family of 4, and our friends (family of 4, 3 doors down) stayed for 8 nights. We had an awesome trip and the condo was perfect. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, towels and beach supplies were perfect, and the extra bed in the loft was a real bonus for our teenage sons to each have their own space. The fans throughout the unit really helped cool it down and worked well using the A/C units late in the day to cool the condo down for bed. We would definately stay again!

Great week in Kihei

Loved this property, walking distance to so many spots including a great beach (Kamaole Beach Park III). Saw many whales jumping and a couple turtles - a few fish too. The pool and BBQ's were nice and super clean. This condo was supplied with everything you could possibly need for making meals and having a great time at the beach. Thanks for everything!

Fantastic Condo

This is our second stay in this condo and it was just as great as the first trip. The unit was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed and just felt like home. We enjoyed cooking at the BBQ's and chatting with other guests, and had a great time tanning at the nearby pool. We really enjoyed having a morning coffee and seeing the whales from the balcony. The complex is really well located, close to Kamaole 3 and other nearby beaches, and Kihei is a great central location to explore other parts of the island. We could walk to go to dinner and sunset each night which we really enjoyed. Laura was great at communicating everything we needed to know, and we look forward to returning here on many more trips in the future!

Family Christmas trip

Three weeks in paradise joined for a week by son & family. Plenty of room for all of us. Upstairs bedroom, bathroom and loft gave my son’s family their own space. Wonderful property close to so many things. We have been to the islands 30 years and this condo was our favorite to date!

Wonderful Location for a Family Gathering

We recently rented this unit to celebrate a Birthday milestone. There were 6 of us sharing for 10 days and it was perfect! Everyone commented how comfortable their beds were and all were well rested in the mornings. The condo was well stocked and very clean. The proximity to the pool and bbq's were a bonus. Laura, the manager, was easily accessible and helpful. We are excited to book a return trip!

Comfortable condo in a great location.

We love this condo for the location and the ability to sleep 6. We had a view of the ocean and could walk to shops, restaurants and ice cream shops. The beach across the street has good snorkeling and we saw many sea turtles. This was truly a vacation to remember .

Relaxing and Homey

Really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean, well stocked, and had a great view. Nothing like waking up to the sounds of the birds and waves crashing then walking out to the lanai to enjoy a hot cup of coffee.

Excellent condo next to Kam III

We loved this condo! It had everything we needed and more. It was very clean, bright and airy, and roomy. I was nervous about only running the air conditioner at night when we were there, but within thirty to forty minutes the rooms were perfectly cooled down. The loft doesn't get cooled down, but the fans and breeze were enough to make it manageable. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay in Kihei!

255 Hale Kamaole

Laura was a great host, she was very responsive with any questions or concerns that we had. The condo was average, some renovations were completed on the main floor and bathrooms. The upstairs carpets needed replacing or at least a good cleaning and the bed covers were dated and needed replacing. These two things made it feel and smell dirty. The air conditioning was just small window units only in the bedrooms. Location was good, across from the beach. Kitchen was well equipped. A good addition to the condo would be a drying rack for towels and swimsuits.

Great Location

We have stayed at Hale Kamaole many times in various properties. This unit was fine, but the amenities (snorkel equipment, boogies boards and some chairs) were in need of replacement. The unit was comfortable, but is a bit dated and could have used a deep clean. That being said, it was affordable and overall a pleasant stay.

You have many things around you can go walking. Gifts shops, market , liquor store , beach is only 2 minutes walk . Very spacious place to stay.

Spring Break 23’

Nice spot close to the pool and beach. Kids 6, 4, 1) had a great time. Plenty of room for sleeping with the 2 beds and loft area. Turtles at Kamaole III were a big hit. Great weather the whole trip and lots of vitamin D, to boost is up for the return of the NW rain and clouds.

Clean, full size apartment steps from the beach

Close to the beach. Spacious living area and rooms. Plenty of storage space for clothes. Both bedrooms had a TV with cable box and tons of on-demand entertainment. There were a ton of linens provided, plus many beach towels, a ton of bath towels. Two spacious bathrooms had full-size toiletries. Laundry in the unit and the host provided a big jug of laundry detergent. Lanai closet had beach chairs, body boards, beach toys, and Coolers, for enjoying a lazy afternoon at the beach. The host also provided tennis equipment and charcoal for grilling. We used the gas grills instead. The kitchen has plenty of pots and pans. We used the storage containers from the kitchen to take food for day-long excursions. Overall the host is very kind to provide all the necessities and made our stay very comfortable. I will definitely stay here whenever we visit Maui again.

Well appointed condo

Unit #255 is fantastic! We've stayed in this complex many times before, and this unit is better appointed than any of the others we've rented in the past. Great location across from Kam III beach. Easy access to the highway and shopping.

Wonderful experience

Great unit in well located complex! We stayed in this unit for 2 wonderful weeks and will definitely be back! The unit was bright and spacious with some great updates like the kitchen and tile floor. Overall it had a great ‘beachy’ look, which really added to the vacation feeling! The kitchen had everything we needed and more, which was convenient for making meals in the condo. The beds were comfortable and the location in the complex was very quiet, which was great for sleeping in. The lanai was nicely shaded and a great place to get out of the sun and enjoy the ocean views. The closet had beach chairs and coolers which came in really handy for days out and about on Maui. The beach directly across the street was great for early morning swimming and sunsets. The complex is a short walk to shops and restaurants, but still far enough away from the ‘busy’ area for some relaxation. The communication with Laura was quick and easy, and we would happily come back when on Maui again!
