Beautiful apartment in perfect location

The studio apartment was even nicer than the pictures. The bed was very comfortable,it was roomy,well stocked with everything we needed. The welcome basket was an added bonus that we enjoyed very much.Thank you Massey for everything you did to make our vacation wonderful.

Charming and Central Location!

Very well kept and beautiful apartment. The garden are is a rarity in SF and is kept so nice! Would highly recommend as the location is central to getting anywhere in the city!

Convenient, beautiful apartment

My parents stayed in this apartment for a month this summer and loved it. Convenient to downtown SF and my place in Pac Heights. Multiple bus options and walkable (if you're ok with hills). Apartment was very clean and kitcheb has great modern appliances.

Fantastic stay in San Fransisco

I stayed with my son for a week in San Fransisco and we loved it. Louis is an excellent host who is really doing his best to give the guest a fantastic time. The flat has everything one needs with a fully equipped kitchen. The location is perfect, close to the centre and has lot s of restaurants in the neighborhood. Highly recommend this place.

Absolutely Charming!

This was my 4th time in San Francisco in the past 2.5 years, but the first time I have stayed in this apartment. The apartment is exactly as displayed in the photos with even more surprises. Not only was the apartment spotless and charming, and in a wonderful location, but the outside garden was just lovely. However, the rooftop garden was a fantastic bonus. Even though the outside temperatures were a bit cool, the rooftop was a magnificent place to get some sun while enjoying a tranquil environment to read. The kitchen was well stocked which is important to me as I, typically, entertain nightly up to 4 guests. I had one concern when I first arrived, which was promptly responded to by the owners. My only negative comment is the density of both the mattress and all pillows. I quickly adapted to the mattress, but never adapted to the pillows. I would suggest that one or two more pillows be purchased that provide a much softer place to lay one's head. If you plan on using SF's wonderful public transportation system, I would suggest ordering a Clipper Pass prior to your visit. It was extremely easy for me to do and, because I am a senior, I could load the pass at the nearby Walgreens for half the typical fare. Being from Massachusetts, I am unaccustomed to a system which works so easily. All in all, this is a lovely apartment in a terrific city.

Peaceful, beautifully decorated condo

My friend and I felt completely at home the moment we walked into the condo. It was nicer than the pictures portray. Every morning we enjoyed coffee in the private garden patio. Very quiet throughout the day. Hard to believe we were in the heart of a busy city. We will definitely tell our friends about this little gem!

Wonderful place to stay. It is a gem in the middle of the city.

We stayed at the Charming Nob Hill Garden Studio for 8 days, 4 vacation and 4 work. The apartment far exceeded our expectations and it had every amenity and more. The next time I am in San Francisco or have any family or friends coming here I will recommend they stay here. Our host Massy was wonderful and an excellent communicator. Accessing the apartment was very easy and Massy even contacted us after we arrived to make sure that everything was okay and to see if we needed anything else. The apartment was spotlessly clean. If you are looking for a romantic getaway or a great place to stay when traveling on business I recommend the Nob Hill Garden Studio.

Clean, quiet and comfortable

The apartment is roomy and bright even though it's on the first floor, with plenty of light coming from the patio windows. Because it's at the back of the building, street noise is zero. The patio is almost as big as the apartment itself, so it adds an expansive feel. The furnishings were in great shape and the kitchen appliances and utensils are modern and comprehensive. Management of the apartment was supportive and attentive throughout the rental process and the stay itself. Nice job all around for a great SF stay!

A San Francisco Treat

Stayed for 9 days and what a relief it was to have this clean, well kept apartment waiting on us at the end of the day. Unit is in a good location, close to public transportation and a nice market (Mayflower) down a block for groceries. The pictures are representative of the unit. The apartment was clean and in order upon arrival with a very nice welcome basket. Kitchen is well equipped for all your cooking needs should you decide to stay in a night or two. Bathroom a bit a bit on the small side but doable. The outdoor courtyard was the biggest asset for us. We sat out there in the mornings for coffee to start our day and in the evenings to end our day. It was so nice to be able to outside just the two of us. Can't say enough about the operator of the unit, Massy. I've been a VRBO'er for awhile and she was by far one of the best from the standpoint of making sure check-in/check-out went well, accessibility, communication and professionalism. That treatment goes a long way to us renters. Thanks! There's a lot to like about this rather roomy studio in the city. I recommend.

Great place to stay in SF!

Perfect central location for walking to many of SF's attractions and neighborhoods. In case you don't want to walk back, you can always take the bus or tram which stops nearby. The apartment itself was spacious, nice, clean and very well equipped. Just like on the fotos. Massy was very attentive, she checked up on us before the check-in and always answered our questions very quickly. Check-in/out were very efficient. The welcome basket was very good, thank you! We would definitely stay here again!

Charming room

This is a charming and cosy little apartment. It has plenty of space for a couple and the court yard is a lovely bonus. The kitchen was very handy for making breakfast before we headed out on any early starts. Being at the back of the building you could not hear any street noise (although we did unfortunately have some road works around the cor a couple of nights we were there which was a little annoying). The room is on the bottom floor under the stairs so you often hear people going up an down. But this did not really bother us. The bathroom was a little tired but clean. The location is pretty good but as the listing says be prepared to do some walking which we love. The host was great. This was a last minute booking and Massy was very responsive and helpful. Access was easy and she let us store our bags when we got there before check in. My only negative was the bed. It's rather old I think and sags in the middle so that my husband and I kept rolling into each other.

Dear Melissa, We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your time at the condo and in SF. As you know, we have no control over occasional construction noise so it's a little unfair to even mention it. As for the mattress, not one of the many guests before and after your stay has made mention of any issues. It is a fairly new high end Simmons Beauty Rest. Both the owners and I have stayed there before and after your visit and did not experience anything but comfort (is it possible you stayed at multiple accommodations on your trip and perhaps confused our rental with another?).

Wonderful Accomodations and Location

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo is very comfortable, stylish and clean, equipped with everything you need. French doors open on to your very own private courtyard, which was so relaxing. Condo location is perfect! There are quaint markets and great restaurants in walking distance, as well as Union Square and China Town. Two blocks to the cable car stop. You are literally right in the middle of everything! Popular area, so we felt very safe walking to dinner in the evenings. Would definitely recommend to my friends!

Comfortable With Elegance

I was instantly transformed back to the glamor associated with the San Francisco of years ago when I walked in the door of this beautiful flat. The décor, furniture arrangement, and patio garden convey a sense of elegance, spaciousness, and harmony. The location of the flat is convenient to Union Square, Chinatown, and the Financial District. There is a bus line one half block away and cab service is almost instantaneous. There are small restaurants nearby and a wonderful small market in the next block across the street with fresh produce, a meat and fish counter, and a deli for us who enjoy cooking and eating in. I was fortunate in having good weather when I was in San Francisco and was able to have my morning coffee and an evening glass of wine on the patio while I admired the beautiful flowers. The kitchen was well equipped for my cooking needs and I was able to eat dinner outside several times. Needless to say, I am looking forward to returning.

Close to everything

The studio was close to my business appointments and many of the SF landmarks I wanted to visit. I enjoyed the stay and the owner made the entire stay convenient and comfortable. I stay in hotels often and this studio arrangement was far better. Thanks Steven for the hospitality.

IDEAL LOCATION

This is a cozy and clean apartment. The location is perfect ... if you like to walk Chinatown, Union Square, Haight Ashbury, and Fisherman's Wharf is a great walk. If you aren't into walking and want to catch a trolley they are within a block or two. We enjoyed the close proximity to many great restaurants and nightlife. Charm and convenience

My parents stayed in this charming garden apartment for a week over the Christmas holiday. It was everything represented on VRBO and then some! It was clean, well-appointed and had everything they needed for comfort and the feel of "home". We had a security entry glitch and contacted the owner who was available by phone and got things corrected for us. They will return next year. It is the perfect alternative to a hotel for an extended stay and the desire for more of a feeling of home. The neighborhood is safe and the parking was not a problem though it is San Francisco so it's relative!!

Great Location on Nob Hill Do Not Miss this oportunity!!!

My wife and I stayed here for 1 month as we got settled into our new life in San Francisco and we loved every minute. The aprtment is within walking distance to Union Square, China town, and Polk Street. The garden was perfect for our dog, and there was the park on Nob Hill a short walk away we visted every day. If you are in San Francisco to shop, eat, vacation or work this place is for you. Great restaurants, easy transportation on bus, taxi, cable car, and 3 parking lots all within 2 blocks. The apartment comes fully loaded with everthing you could need, and I would recomend staying here to anyone visiting or relocating to San Francisco.

Fantastic Studio

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful studio. The bright lighting makes it feel very welcoming and cozy, and the photos on the site are exactly what you find. I enjoyed the garden patio daily, and most importantly, I felt very safe. Because the studio is in the back of the building, it was quiet, with almost no street noise. It is equipped with anything you might need, and the shower has incredible pressure. The owner was very available to me throughout my stay and made me feel very much at home. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting San Francisco. It is centrally located and gives you a great sense of living in the heart of the city. There is a coffee shop, grocery store, and parking garage all within a block.

Charming Nob Hill Garden Studio

We could not have been more satisfied by the apartment, Not only was it clean and beautifully decorated, but it was also fully furnished with linens, supplies and anything one might need to cook. The location is superb, and it is a haven with its charming garden where one never hears the sounds of the bustling city outside. Plus there are many local conveniences. Great spot, great studio

This studio looks exactly like the pictures...it is clean, comfortable, and funky. It's central to many great spots, that are a short walk or cab ride away. The price is great for what you get...and I would recommend this to any of my friends. The owner provides helpful directions getting to and around the studio. This studio was one of the main reasons we enjoyed our trip to San Fran so much. One night we didn't even want to go out -we simply enjoyed a bottle of wine in the garden! Perfect.

As a teenager in the sixties, attended my fair share of rock concerts at the Fillmore and Winterland. Froze my tail off many a night watching Willie Mays and the Giants at Candlestick Park. I've lived on Nob Hill, Russian Hill and out in the Marina. Worked as a bartender at Ghirardelli Square, worked my way through school as a construction laborer in the Financial District and in the nineties, had my real estate office in the Flood Building at Powell and Market St. A lifelong sailor, I still love looking at the city skyline from SF Bay as much as I did the first time I saw it. I hope you enjoy my city.

You can walk anywhere with ease. Stay off those infernal on and off tour buses! Get out and engage! Walk, walk, walk my friends. There is so much to see and do and so little time. Then come back to your sanctuary to rest and recharge so you can do it again tomorrow.
