Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was clean, comfortable and its in a great location. If you are skiing at Stratton you are 5 minutes from the village. The owner was a pleasure to deal with. Look forward to staying at this property again.

Great weekend

We came for a yoga festival and the house was the perfect location and distance from the mountain. Clean, cozy and plenty of room for everyone.

Quiet and Relaxing

Property had everything we needed. Close to the main road for convenience but very quiet and relaxing. Only a few miles from Stratton and a couple minutes from grocery store and cafe. Communication was great and made for an easy stay.

Great Place, Great Host!!!

My friends and I went to Stratton for our spring ski trip and stayed at Debbie's lovely place. The place has prime location and only 5 minutes away from the Mountain. The town is also right next to the house. Debbie is very nice and responsive. The instruction is super clear and easy to follow. If we ever go back to Stratton, we would definitely want to stay at here again.

Just perfect!!

Debra was amazing! Her note was so clear that we don’t even need to bother her asking questions. She kindly warmed up the house before our arrival, so nice of her. Check in process was so easy and the location!! So convenient and close to Stratton (about 5 min to main, 9 min to Sun Bowl, 1 min to 7/11 and Winhall Market ) We arrived very late night but so easy to find the place. House was super clean and had all we needed. We cooked every meal while 4 days staying and kitchen was big enough to work all together. Bathrooms were very clean also. Mud room was big enough to accommodate all 7of us ski gears and boots. We really had a great time at Debra’s place We are already planning to come back this season.

Improvement needed

This property was dangerous to stay in. It had multiple electrical problems throughout and extremely poor lighting. Appliances are connected via ground lifters, making them life-threatening to operate. All closest were locked up and we were forced to keep clothes in our luggage. Thermostat was not working and temperature in freezing conditions was not adjustable. There is no shampoo or other basic supplies. Fireplace had no pellets so it was not usable. This house is less than 30 yards away from a major highway and windows had no sound isolation so you will hear every vehicle passing by. Bunk beds were smelly and bedding covers were not clean. Floors are not leveled and they wobble under your feet as you walk around the house, fearing that you will drop through them to a lower level. Stairway goes to a very dark hallway where my wife twisted the ankle due to the poor markings and lighting conditions. This house should be deemed unsafe by VRBO and should not be on a market for rent, especially not for 900 per night.

I am very disappointed with this review. You did not enjoy your stay because it rained the entire time. This is my family home. There is nothing unsafe. All of the appliances are protected by GFI protector outlets. The thermostat simply needed to be turned on. I wish that you would have communicated with me during your stay instead of complaining a week after checking out. If I would have known that you couldn't turn on the thermostat I would have had my caretaker come immediately to help. I am always available to help my guests. I am not sure where you're from but that is not a major highway. It is the Stratton Mountain access Rd, an excellent location for skiiers that is always plowed and guaranteed for skiiers to get to the mountain on a powder day. The cleaners washed all the sheets and blankets before you arrived. Everything was clean!

Convenient location, functional place

This place is 5 mini away from Stratton and it was perfect for our skiing trip. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and we stayed in the house very comfortably. House is clean, check in information is clear. House is also pretty warm in the winter. We enjoyed our stay.

Great stay!

This rental is in a great location, only 3 miles to the main Stratton parking lot. Debra was very helpful and stayed on the phone while we got the pellet stove working the first night. There are 2 floors with 3 bedrooms/1 bath on first floor and master bedroom/bath on top floor along with kitchen and family room.

Couldn’t Have Been Better

My girlfriend and I booked this house last minute. Debbie bent over backwards to get the house ready for us. Upon arrival the house was in pristine condition. Clean and tidy and smelled like apple pie. The pellet stove really set the ambiance and there were plenty of games to play in our down time. Great location minutes away from Stratton. Also Killington, Okemo, Mt. Snow, Bromley and Magic mountain are all within an hour drive. Cannot speak highly enough of this place and host.

Pros: -great location, under 5 mins drive to Stratton Mountain -good pricing for NYE week -good pellet stove, cable, wifi, couch Cons: -very thin walls, noise travels easily from upstairs to downstairs -2nd downstairs "queen bed" not really a queen but a full size bed on a queen boxspring -twin bed room is a little musty (not a major concern unless there are allergies)

Close proximity to skiing

The property is within a 5 minute drive to Stratton. The check in was easy, and the property was very clean. It is, however, very close to the road. It can be a little noisy. The owner communicated well.

Great house, very convenient location, easy to work with homeowner!

I rented this property for 10 people for NYE and we absolutely loved this house. Well-kept, cozy, comfortable house that is about 5 minutes from shops, restaurants, and activities. Debbie was very easy to work with throughout the entire process of planning our trip and throughout our stay. We would definitely rent this house again, should we return to Stratton!

Great house convenient to slopes

4 dads and 6 kids stayed here for some skiing/riding at Stratton. The house was perfect for our needs, very comfortable, and was only a couple of minutes from the parking lots at the mountain. The owner was very nice and easy to deal with. Looking forward to our next trip.

Great family house

The house is well supplied and a short drive to Stratton. Debbie the owner was very helpful with all we needed. We were there with three small children and a mother in law and all slept comfortably.
