Reynolds Plantation Lake Oconee House (private pool) 7 bedrooms- near the Ritz

This gorgeous lake house has 7 bedrooms and 6 full bathrooms. This property offers a rare opportunity to enjoy the lake life with friends and family without having to own it. It has a private pool and a wonderful outdoor kitchen area and fire pit. There is an expansive lake view, a private dock, and it is centrally located roughly one cove over from the Ritz Carlton. Located in exclusive Reynolds , this resort offers some of the best golfing around. This house is a wonderful location for family gatherings or reunions. With multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, this house is not only ideal for larger families but also very rare.

The main floor has a master suite (king bed) with a bathroom that has a separate shower and garden tub. The two additional bedrooms on the main floor share a bathroom with a tub/shower combo, and both rooms have sets of twin beds in each. Downstairs has 3 additional bedrooms. Two bedrooms are furnished with king beds that each have its own bathroom with a shower. The other bedroom has two sets of bunk beds and has its own bath containing a tub/shower combo. The house has an above garage in-law apartment with a king bed and sleeper queen sofa with its own bath containing a shower. (There 4 King beds in total at property).

There are 3 full kitchens with one on the main floor, one downstairs, and the other in the garage apartment. There is an amazing outdoor grilling pavilion area complete with grill and serving area as well as seated space for 8. The pool makes for a relaxing day or night. There is a pool table, a foosball and a ping pong table for kids’ activities as well as a basketball goal. A retro arcade has been refitted to offer over 3000 classic favorite video games. There is currently one poker card set stored at the home. We don’t have any board games at the home because pieces easily get misplaced so you may need to bring those depending on your needs.

The lake view is outstanding with a full max dock to allow for swimming in the lake or other water activities. Pontoon boats and jet skis can be rented from the lake club marina which is a very short distance from the house. Ski boat rentals are available through the Young Harris Water Sports, Oconee Wild Watersports, and Fish Tales. If you desire a pontoon boat, those type boats only may be reserved through Reynolds' marinas. There is an area to tie a boat on the side of the dock and an additional jet ski slip available at the house if you wish to rent water crafts overnight. (Owner’s bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, tube, ski equipment, jet skis, and boats, etc. are not available for renters’ use due to not having insurance coverage for renters to use. We have a golf membership at Reynolds. Reynolds has changed their policy regarding unaccompanied guests playing golf and must receive approval prior to play.

Renters will be required to submit names, ages, and the total number of occupants during the stay. We will not allow more people to be at the home than what is approved with the initial rental. Individuals not staying in the home as part of the rental agreement are not allowed on the premises or inside the home unless approved by owner such as a caterer. Additional security gate passes for guests will not be supplied. We will not allow groups who intend to use the property for parties or as a gathering location for other families not staying at the home. We expect the property to be well cared for during its use. We expect renters to be courteous and respectful of our close neighbors and follow the Reynolds rule of no loud music or noises after 10pm. We do not allow pets or smoking on the premises. Guests must leave the home in good condition as it was when rented with things picked up and the kitchen clean or deductions will come out of the security deposit.

There is a security service provided through Reynolds Plantation. Loud noise disturbance/music are not allowed after 10pm. No parking is allowed on the street/roads. Please discuss with owner about the # of cars that you will be able to fit in the driveway. A picture of the driveway is posted with property photos. No fireworks or guns are allowed. Littering on the property or neighbor’s property will incur a cleaning fee that will be deducted from the security deposit. If security is called due to renter’s actions, the security deposit in full will be forfeited. If security is called a second time, immediate eviction from the house will occur. A local property manager is on file with the security service as well, and they will be notified of inappropriate behavior. Exterior security cameras are installed as part of the home security system.

Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. Detailed house information will be sent prior to arrival and will be available at the house for review. Additional information such as local restaurants and activities to enjoy in the area will be included in the welcome area. Details regarding house entry access will be provided the day before check in.

Heating the hot tub can be arranged. It is heated by propane. If this option is desired, a separate invoice prior to your stay will be sent to you for $50 per night of your stay. There are currently 8 pool towels to use, but we recommend bringing some extras depending on your needs.

Fire pit can be used if renters desire. Wood can be purchased at local stores-Publix & Ace Hardware. The pit should be cleaned out prior to leaving or a $50 cleaning fee will be charged.

Housekeeping touch up service can be arranged for an additional fee based on availability. Please let us know at booking if you would like this service to ensure availability. We REQUIRE a touch up service if you are staying a week or more. Additionally, catering may be available to provide meals if desired. Names of food preparers can be provided on request. An in-house massage therapist may be available for booking if desired and information will be provided upon request. Arrangements will need to be made outside of this booking with independent providers and notification provided to owners.

Greene County requires business licenses in order to use a property for short term rentals. We have an active license and are legally renting.

****We strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance that will cover you if you need to cancel your reservation after booking as we have a non refundable cancellation policy. You will need to research and purchase your desired travel insurance policy outside of this booking as we do not offer a travel insurance policy as part of this booking. If you do not have travel insurance or are canceling for any reason not covered by your travel insurance policy, then our cancellation policy will occur. All monies will be held until the property has been rebooked via VRBO and confirmed for the same rental period and the same rate. There are NO exceptions. If the property is rebooked for the same rental period and rate, we will refund your funds. If property is not rebooked, all monies will be forfeited. ****
