Cozy Mtn Home Leadville - STR # 2025-020 - No Pets Allowed!

We LOVE our mountain home and we are certain that you will too! Our home is big, cozy and inviting. We lots of room to spread out, 2 kitchens, 2 sets of full-size washers and dryers, an outdoor deck, and a lot of space to be together with friends and family. Downstairs there is ping pong, foosball and shuffleboard tables, additional bedrooms, and beds. In the summer, the outdoor deck is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a nice fire. The house has wifi, cable, and 5 flat screen TVs with streaming capability. We have all of your necessities and a fully stocked kitchen. All you need to do is show up and enjoy! Please note we DO NOT ALLOW PETS! No exceptions!

The home is 3 levels.

The main floor:
1) Master Suite, 1 King, 1 Queen, en-suite Bathroom, with TV.
2) Bedroom with King size bed
3) Bedroom with Full size bed
Family room with TV, high ceilings, beautiful windows and views
Kitchen- completely stocked dishes, pots, pans, utensils, spices, etc.
Dining area with table that seats 8-10
Den- attached to the Kitchen with cozy sofas and TV
Full size Washer/Dryer
Newly added Half Bath


The loft:

The loft sits directly above and overlooking 2nd Living Area:
1) bedroom has 3 twins and two trundles with a small private deck

Downstairs:
Laundry Room with full size Washer and Dryer
Mini Kitchen with Sink, Cooktop, microwave and dining area

1) Bedroom with King Bed
2) Bedroom with King Bed

Living Room/Gameroom with ping pong, foosball and shuffleboard tables.

In the Gameroom, there is a set of twin bunk beds (2 twins), 1 full size bed and 1 twin size bed.

There is Wifi throughout the home.

The Deck provides a great place to unwind after a beautiful summer day, with bench and chair seating, fire pit, Weber charcoal grill and gas grill.

Linens and Towels provided.

There are 2 electric infrared heaters to supplement heating if needed. Feel free to move those room to room as needed.

There are outdoor surveillance cameras on both front porches and outside near the garage. While these are for security, they may be used to verify the number of people in your party match your reservation.

THERE ARE NO INDOOR SURVEILLANCE DEVICES.

Nice cozy house. Lot of space . We could not enjoy much , we were out hiking . If you are with family and have time , you can have a good time here. Nice backyard .

Perfect family reunion home base

We had 3 generations of family and everyone was thrilled with this home! We hail from Leadville and found it fits the town’s charm/personality well. It’s not fancy or pretentious - it’s comfortable and welcoming and everyone was right at home. The deck, game room, family rooms and kitchen area all were great gathering places for us. We found the amenities to be quite thoughtful such as kitchen items and bathroom necessities - much more than the bare minimum! We loved the family collage wall in the kitchen also! We would definitely stay here again the next time we have the whole group in town.

Great for large groups

If you have a large group --- a wedding party in our case --- this is a great place. It has beds galore, and plenty of space otherwise.The basement was great for the noisy groomsmen, who played ping-pong and computer games into the night, without bothering the people upstairs.We had one poor young person finishing her Masters thesis at the table in the great room away from the crowds. (Yeah, this place really does have a lot of space.)It has a very nice deck along the back where we had a large pre-wedding BBQ.In the family room is a huge couch that everyone enjoyed sitting around at several get-togethers.The kitchen joined with the family room has a large island that was good for setting up a serving line.It was convenient that it's close to the Safeway in town for when last minute groceries and other things were needed.The unit was clean and everything in order.Great place. It was perfect for our needs.

Ample Room

Plenty of room for our group of 9 skiers. Enjoyed the location in the woods and 17 mins from ski cooper.

Fantastic Leadville Home

This property was fantastic for a large group. I had my entire family along with a friend and her family. There were so many sleeping arrangements not counting the bunks. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more. We are already thinking of future trips here.

Perfect for family group

There were so many options of sleeping arrangements that worked for everyone. Two different living room and downstairs area too. It worked perfectly for our large family vacation. Lots to see and do close by

Our Family Vacation

This property was all that the description told about and lots more. Lots of room for everyone to roam around the house and very easy to locate. Lots to see and do in Leadville, great eating places to check out also.Close to driving to other places that we went to see.

Reunion

Great stay! We had group of 8 men, gathering for a 30-year reunion. The house was very comfortable and spacious. We could have comfortably slept another half dozen guys. Perfect location for day hiking and easy to get to/from grocery store and restaurants in Leadville. Only complaint was that the bed linens had a strong fragrance smell from the laundry detergent - fragrance-free detergent would be preferable for those who are sensitive.

Mt. Elbert Wedding Party

The house was amazing! We had an absolutely wonderful experience here. There was so much room for everyone to be comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and was enjoyable to use. The sleeping accommodations completely met our needs! The deck with firepit was perfect for relaxing. David is a great host who quickly responded to all my messages. I would definitely use this property again.

Great Family House

We stayed with 13 of our children and grandchildren in July. The house is wonderful! We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the mountains. The kitchen is super well stocked, it even had an instant pot! With 2 refrigerators, we had room for food and beverages for all. The deck and firepit are awesome, and 2 grills make food prep easy. The littles enjoyed the yard and the ROKU tv's. We rode the train, Razors, the Top of the Rockies zipline and hiked to Windsor Lake. Twin Lakes was warm enough for the kids to do some swimming, and is a beautiful drive.

Family vacation

Nice place close to town. Very clean. Well equipped. There was an old sandwich in the basement couch and some earrings on the bedroom floor in basement. Could use a few more wash rags in bathrooms. Otherwise great. Thank you!

We had an awesome time in this house. Plenty of room to spread out. Very good location for short trips to Safeway. Would definitely stay again.

Family Fun in the Mountains

Great basement for young adults that has many beds and games Spacious for two families and three great hang out areas. Great parking available. Loved the big windows. House is located in wooded area close to downtown.

A lot of love, sweat and tears have gone into making this Colorado home an inviting and cozy home away from home. We love not being in a resort town. You will LOVE Leadville. The town is charming and quaint boasts a lot of history. This is REAL COLORADO. You have the advantage of being very near to some of Colorado's most popular resort towns and destinations.
The summers are as beautiful as the winters and there are so many things to do within an hour from the house.
