ABOUT KANDY
Situated at an elevation of 500m above sea level, the historic city of Kandy is nestled among the misty hills in the central region of Sri Lanka. The shrine holding the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Lord Buddha (The Temple of the Tooth) is located in the centre of the city, making Kandy the most venerated city in Sri Lanka.
