Escape to our peaceful private lakefront cottage in Dudley, MA, your perfect year-round retreat! Recently updated 3-bed, 2-bath home on beautiful Pierpoint Meadow Lake offers swimming, fishing, kayaking, vibrant fall colors, and winter ice skating. Inside, enjoy air conditioning, cozy fireplace, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and new TVs. Outside, relax on the new multi-level deck with stunning lake views, gather by the fire pit, or step onto your private dock and sandy beach to make lasting memories. The ~60 feet of shoreline with sandy beach make it perfect for swimming and playing on the water. The back yard is mostly flat with soft grass a picnic table, 2 grills (Charbroil gas and charcoal), fire pit, plenty of seating options (over 10 chairs, chaise lounge, antigravity chair careful - it will put you to sleep), small sand beach for easy access and making sand castles, dock for fishing (~5 feet off the end) and life jackets. For a small additional fee we can rent our water trampoline, canoe, kids Kayaks, paddle boat, stand up paddle board, floats and all sorts of tubes. For sailboat enthusiasts we also have that to rent.
We have been remodeling the cottage since purchasing it last year and we designed it to maximize space, comfort and time together as a family.
We went for an open concept so you can be in the kitchen but still be connected to the family in the living room, dining room, front porch and even see what is going on outside. The kitchen features a dishwasher, microwave, small stove, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, large refrigerator with freezer, all the basic silverware, utensils, pots/pans and plenty of counter space. We leave some basic supplies for our guests to use including some condiments, olive oil, spices salt/pepper and dry food. We prescribe to the community mentality here and encourage our guests to share or replace any food they use up.
The living room has a super comfy leather couch (please be careful with it / no eating on it), recliner, working fireplace, 65 inch OLED tv with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Paramount and other apps (perfect for family movie night), Bluetooth speaker, Amazon Alexa with Amazon music (just say what you want to listen to song, artist or genre and she plays it - connects to Bluetooth speaker for surround sound), LED lights, Washing machine for dirty clothes, new small bathroom, cordless Dyson vacuum and a table for indoor eating. Guests have exclusive access to the entire home (excluding the unfinished basement), private yard, sandy beach, and dock with no shared spaces. Parking includes two spots directly in front of the house, plus two additional spaces available just across the street. For your convenience and security, the home features a keypad door lock allowing easy, keyless entry.
The 3 season porch is screened in and features panoramic views of the lake, a desk to work from, dinning table with 4 chairs (we eat most of our meals here), couch, coffee table (for wine / apps of course!) and two chairs for hanging out at night and taking in the views - plus outdoor cafe string lights, fan and small art/craft table for the little ones.
We have a brand new deck facing the lake with padded patio seating for 5* with couch tables and foot rests to relax. Our gas grill is out there on the deck making meal preparation easy.
It has 3 bedrooms, with new beds that are on the smaller side but certainly comfortable. The master features a king size bed, AC and new 50 inch LG flat screen TV (Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc). The second bedroom is larger and has a Full size bed which can sleep 2. The 3rd bedroom has a twin bed with a trundle bed for sleeping 2. The upstairs bathroom has been remodeled and features a new Marble tile shower. My wife and I deeply appreciate the trust you place in us when you choose to stay at our lake cottage. Having grown up spending summers by the lake, we understand how special these moments are and are happy to share this treasured space with guests who will treat our home with the same care and respect as their own. To make your stay easier, we share some food items and condiments from our cabinets and refrigerator—so you don’t have to buy everything. We are here to support you throughout your visit and encourage you to reach out anytime via phone, text, or email if you need anything or have questions. Your comfort and great experience mean a lot to us. We invite you to relax and enjoy the peaceful outdoors—this is your perfect place to unwind! For safety, all guests are required to sign a liability waiver related to water activities, the fire pit, and other outdoor features.
