Large Loft Condo, 2 Baths, 3 Sleeping Areas, Steps to the Slopes, Amazing Views!

Perfect for families and couples, this fully renovated loft condo sleeps up to six in three separate sleeping areas, has two full baths, a well-stocked kitchen, washer and dryer and provides all you need for your Snowshoe vacation. Bigger than most two-bedroom and many three-bedroom condos. You will love the two full baths. Enjoy the spectacular sunsets. The mountain views from Mountain Crest 28 are the best at Snowshoe!

The upstairs loft bedroom has a plush pillow top queen bed, sofa for reading and lounging, cable TV with Blu-ray/DVD player, and a full bath complete with luxurious soaking tub.

The downstairs sleeping area has a plush pillow top double bed, dresser and lights for reading. A new queen size sofa bed in the living room completes the sleeping possibilities for your condo. Another full bath with shower is conveniently located on this floor. Having two full baths at the end of the ski day is among the luxuries of Mountain Crest 28.

A fully stocked kitchen provides all you need to create memorable meals or simply heat up take out in the micro wave. Enjoy your meals on the large dining area table that comfortably seats six or eat at the intimate breakfast bar. A crock pot is provided if you would like to put your dinner in the morning and have a home-cooked meal ready for you after a long day on the slopes. Throw dishes in the high end dishwasher for more time on the slopes or to simply relax. Wake each morning to smell of the coffee provided for the Keurig coffee maker.

Relax in the living area on the new full size sofa or leather chairs in front of the wood burning fireplace. Wood is provided. Enjoy watching the flat screen TV with cable, Roku for streaming and Blu-ray/DVD player. Some movies are provided, but bring your personal favorites to enjoy. Wi Fi is provided throughout the condo. Free local and long distance phone calling is included, a real plus as cell service in limited at Snowshoe.

The laundry room has a washer and dryer for wet ski cloths and laundry. Detergent is provided.

All linens, towels, body wash and shampoo are provided for your stay.

Mountain Crest 28 is steps to the Powder Ridge ski lift. It is easy to come back to the condo for lunch during the ski day. It is a 10-minute walk to the Village restaurants and entertainment along the scenic lit walking path in front of the Mountain Crest complex. You can also pick up the free shuttle bus at the covered bus stop in front of the parking lot. The shuttle quickly takes you to all areas of Snowshoe and Silver Creek. Plenty of free parking is provided in the parking lot which is cleared each day it snows.

Cozy and convenient

We arrived late at night but luckily had great detailed instructions about arrival and access to everything in the rental (note that it’s on the 3rd floor so there are quite a bit of steps to go up but that wasn’t an issue for us). When we arrived, the lock box was a little sticky (I think the release button got jammed) but once we figured that out we got in easily). The set up worked well for our family of 5 (3 kids and 2 adults). Our kids enjoyed sleeping in the loft (and we set up the youngest on the couch upstairs - we did bring our own twin sheets to put on there as the other sheets sets are larger). The location was great- we were able to easily walk to the slopes which was exactly what we hoped for! The rental had had everything we needed (for cooking, sleeping, and enjoying some r&r - we did a puzzle and enjoyed the Roku on the tv). It’s not new or fancy but certainly cozy and conveniently located. We would stay again.

Cozy and well equipped

Lovely view of snow capped trees and the condo was clean and cozy with a very well equipped kitchen.. Everything worked great and its perfect for two friends though not technically a 2 BR as one bed is in the main area. The host was great and responded immediately when we had a problem with the keys

Great Location and Communication

We had a great experience staying here. The condo was clean, well stocked, and the communication with Richard was very good. He always responded quickly. The condo is a short walk across the parking lot to the top of the Powder Ridge. We drove to the Village (5 mins) and to Silver Creek (7 mins). The property managers did a nice job blowing the snow off the walkways each morning. Definitely recommend staying here.

Great place

Our time at Mountain Crest was short but sweet. The condo was comfortable, had everything we needed and was in a great location to both the lift and the village. The check in/stay instructions were super helpful. Rich was highly courteous and communicative. Would definitely stay here again.

Snowshoe ski trip after Christmas

Property was exactly as described. Well furnished. Extremely comfortable. This property is just steps from a free shuttle stop that will take you all around the area. Property is an easy walk to the village with restaurants and shopping. I parked my car on arrival and didn't need to drive again until I checked out. Owner was easy to reach and extremely responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice stay

Very cozy loft condo that was convenient to walk to lift. Beautiful view. Bed comfortable. Recommend bringing your own wood for fireplace since the firewood there was not fully cured and hard to light. End unit on the third floor. Small basic kitchen for cooking- would benefit from a tea kettle and sharp knives. There is no hot tub on property— the advertised hot tub apparently is in the public pool facility and costs money .

Great Spot

Couldn't ask for much more. Location is great with a 5 minute (max) walk to slopes. Plenty of room for three of us in condo and living space and kitchen is perfectly equipped!

Just perfect

This condo was the perfect place for our family ski trip. It was cozy and warm with enough room for us to spread out and get space from one another too. The views and sunsets really are gorgeous. We loved the location, not having to deal with crowds in the village, and being able to easily walk over to Powder ridge. And it's close to Silver Creek too, so we got some great skiing in over there in the evenings. Rich was a helpful and attentive host! We'll be back!

Mountains and Music

This property met all expectations. Both beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with lots of coffee and all the basics. The fans were a godsend, as it was very warm for Snowshoe. Great base to launch from to hear music at 4848 festival with a shuttle right at the base of the parking lot. Hosts very communicative, even making us aware early check in was available. Great stay.

Convenient location, great stay!

This is a cozy condo. My kids loved the ladder-like stairs to the loft. Easy access to the slopes and the Village, as well as The Pizza Slice, which is DELICIOUS. Had a question during our stay and owner was very responsive. Overall a great experience!

Highly recommend.

I've stayed at a lot of spots at snowshoe and I highly recommend this spot. Especially if you are planning to stay in by the fireplace and make yourself meals for lunch and dinner. But also close enough to the village to walk over at night. It's maybe a 2 minute walk to the slope.

Unbeatable views

My partner and I visit Snowshoe every year and we’ve been staying at this condo each visit since we found it. It’s got absolutely stunning views, great amenities, a cozy fireplace, and the perfect set up. It’s close to the slopes, which is so convenient, while at the same time feeling serene and in the midst of nature. The views of the sunset, trees, and wildlife make this place feel magical to us. In terms of amenities, the kitchen has everything you might need and the bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer in case you forgot anything. The owner is also super nice and communicative. I’d highly recommend staying here!

Ski Weekend

Exactly what we needed for a quick weekend ski trip. Great communication with Richard throughout trip. Day 1 we had to visit the village in the morning to get lift tickets and rentals but on Day 2 we were able to take just a 2 or 3 minute walk to and from the top of the slopes.

Cozy condo with amazing view of the mountains from your back deck

Cozy condo, I loved having a real fire place.Also, so nice to have an extra bed built in down stairs that is not the sofa. , even though shower upstairs is not ideal because you have to sit in the tub to use due to height of ceiling, it is still very nice to have a second bathroom which is the main reason I rented this property. cons are the building does not have an elevator so you have to walk a lot of steps to the third floor which is where the condo is located. bus system is nice with a little room to wait in by the road until the shuttle comes. I would probably rent this property again but I would bring a topper foam mattress to go on the pull out couch since it sleeps like a pull out couch. overall great property.

Perfect little place!

We are a family of five, two adults three children (13, 10, & 9). We all really enjoyed our stay at Mountain Crest! One negative would be that the best bed was up stairs (the loft) that has super small steep steps that can be really difficult to get up & down so my husband and I opted to sleep in the front room bed while our 13 y/o slept on the pull out couch bed and two young ones the loft bed. We ended up switching w/ our 13 y/o after night one as the front room bed is fairy small which put us on a uncomfortable thin couch bed so we were a little disappointed in the bed set ups. Aside from that, the location is phenomenal! A beautiful 10 minute walk on the trail or a short trip on the bus (which comes around quite often right in front of the Mountain Crest Unit’s parking lot) and you’re at “The Village”. The views from the front and back are incredible, we often saw many deer roaming around. Although the units are on the older side, the owners did a great job updating carpet, shower heads, sinks, dishwasher, etc. Although we stayed a week before Christmas 2k felt a bit steep for 4 nights but we really think it’s all about the location more than anything! The owners are REALLY good about communicating as well!!

Cute, but Loft for young

Very nice and well stocked as indicated in listing. Stairs for loft are very steep. Loft shower is not suitable for standing. If using the shower, you have to be very short or sit.

Dad / Daughters trip

The property was very clean. It was very convienient (easy walk) to the top of the Powderidge lift. Views off the balcony were fantastic. Richard was great with communication. The unit was well stocked with kitchen needs. A couple of notes to keep in mind for renters. The stairs to balcony are very steep, so eldery or young children might have challenges. I also recommend printing out or saving lockbox info as there is not good data cell coverage at Snowshoe and I could not open up my email for the lockbox code when I arrived. I had to drive to one of the day lodges to get the free wifi to upload the email with this information. Once in the room the condos wifi was great.

Snowshoe gets over 150 inches of snow each winter. It has conditions similar to New England and out west but is in driving distance to almost half of the US population. It is one of the best values in skiing anywhere. The mountain is full of friendly people looking to experience the great outdoors and enjoy good times.

Mountain Crest 28 is the best of all worlds. Close to the restaurants and entertainment of the Snowshoe Village, but far enough away to have peace and quiet. You get the advantage of Richard and Karen’s 40 plus years of experience of how to set up a condo for your ultimate enjoyment. This is a spacious condo on two floors with enough room for a family or several couples to enjoy each other’s company and also have their own private spaces. Great thought and energy has gone into keeping Mountain Crest 28 modern and current. Mountain Crest 28 has the best western mountain views at Snowshoe. These views and amazing sunsets are visible from anywhere in the condo's open floor plan.
