This remodeled 3-bedroom, 2-bath house is located within walking distance of Arizona State University and Mill Avenue, which is the heart of downtown Tempe. City bus routes and a light rail system make this location quite desirable. The property is close to Sun Devil Stadium, Grady Gammage Auditorium, Tempe Center for the Arts and Tempe Town Lake, which is the home of the annual Ironman Triathlon and many other events. The AZ Cardinals stadium is a 30-minute drive away so this property is a perfect location for AZ Cardinals games and the annual Fiesta Bowl. If interested, the owner often has extra AZ Cardinals tickets. The nightlife of this college town makes this home ideally located for those who want to vacation in a quiet neighborhood close to where the action is. Since the property is very centrally located in the metro Phoenix area, you can hang out in Tempe or go anywhere in the metro Phoenix area very quickly and inexpensively. Executive as well as designer golf courses are nearby. A short drive will take you to numerous spring training facilities. The Phoenix Zoo is less than five miles away. The living room, bedrooms and the backyard are equipped with cable television. The interior of the house is fully tiled and newly furnished with contemporary furniture. A swimming pool -- heated during the cooler months -- accentuates the covered patio and gas grill in the backyard. When heated, the pool heater is set at 88 degrees but, if the outside temperature gets too cool, the pool temp may not reach 88. That doesn't happen often but it does happen occasionally. There are wet suit tops in the laundry area for your use. Those will help. If you are bringing dogs to the property, please try to keep them out of the pool as dog hair can seriously clog the filtering system. The laundry room is located next to the pool. The property is also conveniently located only 4 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. You will see and hear an occasional plane while sitting at the pool, but that is actually quite enjoyable. With the house's dual pane windows, you will not hear airport noise when inside. We call this property "El Norte" because it is our only property on the north side of the street. El Norte can accommodate 6 guests but, if you need to find lodging for more, we own another vacation rental across the street. You can see it at VRBO.com/395773. It also has a pool. You will not be charged a cleaning fee at any of our properties. El Norte can accommodate a family gathering but cannot accommodate a large event. If you are planning to host an event of any size, please clear it with the owner at time of booking. Please note: Because we have a pool with no special pool fence, we are not permitted to rent to children under the age of 6. Thanks for considering our property. Shirley and Pete

Great time at a great place with family

Our hosts were the most responsive I’ve ever experienced. Excellent communication, and response was same day. They obviously are keen to make their guests satisfied, and we were. The property was maintained and it was wonderful for our dog too- it has real grass, and Mitchell Park at the end of the block- so you can’t beat that for dog friendly.

Awesome trip

We loved the home, location and hosts. We came to town for spring training. The hosts were very kind and helpful to share dining suggestions and best ways to get around town. Home was perfect. We would definitely stay again.

Great Tempe stay

Had a terrific time in Tempe! Communication from host was great, very easy check in and out. House was very clean, well furnished/stocked and was perfect for our family of 4. House is located in a neat area, just a short walk to downtown Tempe and the ASU campus. Would definitely stay here again!!

Volleyball tournament refuge.

This wonderful home is in a quiet residential neighborhood that is very close to parks and freeways making transportation very easy access to both Phoenix and the East valley. Shopping and rest were also close. The house was wonderfully furnished with everything we needed to prepare our own meals and the pool and backyard was beautiful.

Pete and Shirley are retired high school teachers. Shirley's first house, which she bought in 1985, is across the street from this property. We have enjoyed renting Shirley's first house as a vacation rental since 2009 -- VRBO #214978. In 2011, we purchased another property 3 doors down from the first and we rent it as VRBO #395773. In 2016, when this house across the street from our first two properties became available, we purchased it as well. That's probably our limit! And, we now want to relax a bit and enjoy our guests. It is fun to live in this neighborhood. It is quiet but close to a lot of activity. ASU students as well as homeowners live throughout, making the neighborhood upbeat and lively. Pete and Shirley have lived in the area since 1985.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The house is conveniently located to ASU and the numerous activities that occur there. You can always find something to do within minutes. A dog park is located at the end of the street so it is entertaining to just sit in the front yard, watching the neighbors walking to the park each night.
