Back on VRBO/Homeaway with a new pool and only two weeks available. Perfect house for a family looking for a getaway in a roomy, open house, close to town, but much closer to the beach. Sleeps 10 comfortably with 3 bedrooms, a loft (with 2 queen beds), 2 full bathrooms and an outdoor shower. Beautiful kitchen (granite counters and stainless steel appliances) with two dishwashers, beautiful deck and big back yard with sunset views. Walk to Miacomet public golf course, Bartlett Farms Market, Cisco Brewery and Miacomet beach.

Fantastic rental, impeccable in every detail!

I believe this is the very best rental experience we have ever had with HomeAway, and we are frequent renters. Larry and Kathy are exceptional in their attention to detail and responsiveness. The house was exactly as described, tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. But what made the rental SO relaxing is that they really thought of everything, the place was so organized and well-stocked with high-quality basics. A basket with 10+ fluffy white bath towels, a stack of colorful beach towels, 4 jugs of laundry detergent neatly lined up above the machine, a first aid box with hundreds of band-aids, just in case, a rack with spare house keys for the whole family.... we didn't need to worry about a thing! The kitchen was super well-equipped, and we very much appreciated having staples like salt, pepper, oregano and other spices right there in the lazy susan. Pails, shovels, chairs and bodyboards to use at the beach, board games and puzzles to enjoy at night - there were even 2 wild bunnies that would hope through the yard nearly every day! Thanks Larry and Kathy for a wonderful vacation! We would love to make the long journey back to Nantucket and would be delighted to stay at your home once again.

Home away from home!!

We have just returned from our third summer at the Martin's beautiful home in Miacomet. We love everything about vacationing at this extraordinary home. The location is fantastic, providing a short bike ride to beautiful beaches, Bartlett Farm, a fresh fish market and Cisco Brewery. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to create Gourmet meals and we find ourselves rarely wanting to leave home to venture to a restaurant. It is situated far enough from town that you can avoid the hustle and bustle but close enough that you can make a quick trip in to shop or eat out. Larry has been gracious and available at all times. I highly recommend this home as a rental for your family!

Our ACK home away from home

This is our second year staying at Larry's place and we absolutely love it. We have stayed at several other houses on the island in years past that are much more expensive and have always been left with the sense that we paid too much for too little. This house leaves you with quite the opposite feeling. It has plenty of room to sprawl out, comfortable furniture, a nicely updated kitchen with everything you need, a garage full of beach chairs/balls and toys, and a beautiful flat back yard just perfect for throwing long bombs to your kids. The house is in the perfect location we feel on the Island close to our favorite beaches at Miacomet and Cisco, walking distance to the Brewery and Bartlett Farm, and only a few minutes into town. We will definitely be calling Larry who is a super host next time we plan to come to ACK.

Every thing you need in a vacation home!

Our family has stayed at this home for 3 years in a row and it just keeps getting better. The location is perfect because we are close to beaches, golf, biking and town but also have a quiet neighborhood and a great yard to play in. The home is well maintained. You won't have to bring anything other than your clothes because the home is stocked with everything you need for the beach, cooking and relaxing. The owner is a pleasure to work with and is attentive and responds quickly to home maintenance needs that may arise during a stay. It's a perfect family vacation home!

Well maintained with great kitchen

This is a well maintained house with a new kitchen and nice wood floors throughout. The location is perfect for our family because it's close to Miacomet golf, the beach and bike trails. The owner was great. We've already booked our week for next summer.

Great home!

This was our second time staying in this house. We thought all the updates were great! We love the location to the beach, Bartlet's and town. The house was clean and very comfortable for a family. The outdoor shower is great. The linens and beach supplies ie chairs and towels are perfect. We will be back!

Great Home!

We stayed in this home in August and LOVED everything about it! We've been renting on the island for over 15 years and this was our first time staying in the Miacomet area.........will stay here EVERY year moving forward! The area is perfect, with several beaches within 1 mile of the house as well as Miacomet Golf Course, Bartlett Farm, and Cisco Brewery. We could walk to all of these attractions over dirt roads that were winding through the moors and it was just the perfect location. House is well furnished and we had two families (9 total) and had plenty of room and it had all the amenities you would want on a beach vacation. Owners were great to work with and made the entire process as easy as can be......we have already reserved our week next year and would highly recommend this house and location!
