This charming, secluded log cabin is conveniently located just nine miles north of the Wimberley Town Square. From the moment you step onto the property, you will appreciate the spacious feeling of this vacation retreat! With three bedrooms and a queen size sleeper sofa it can accommodate up to eight guests comfortably.”

Double D Cottage provides the perfect vacation away from it all! Enjoy the views and serenity from the large living area, and after a delightful dinner, retreat to your very comfortable Tempur-Pedic bed in the master bedroom. The second bedroom will easily accommodate two guests in a queen size bed, and there is a private bedroom and bathroom with a bathtub upstairs for two additional guests.

There is also a Lazy Boy queen sleeper sofa in the living room that’s ideal for the kiddos. For the perfect ending to your day cozy up with your loved ones and indulge in fireside chat and roasted marshmallows around the beautiful stone fireplace.

From either of the two patios, take in the panoramic Hill Country Views. Enjoy vast, starry nights and bright, sunny days overlooking the expansive countryside.

**The health and safety of our guests is paramount. Cleanliness is always our top priority. We offer a 24-hour guest service contact number for emergencies and messages will be answered promptly. Arrive after four o’clock when it is convenient for you with an easy and contactless check-in and out process for our guests.

A maximum of 2 dogs weighing 25 pounds or less are allowed at pet friendly properties. The amenities, we really enjoyed the hot tub and the view was just gorgeous. A very welcoming home. The king bed was super comfortable we didn’t want to get out of it. We will definitely be staying here again very soon!

Delightful home, big enough for several couples, but cozy enough for one. Tucked on a quiet road, feeling secluded and private; the furniture was comfortable and homey; and the outside living was expansive, shady and sported a beautiful view of Wimberley Valley. I just wish I had planned for one more day. Next time we are bringing friends or grandkids!

The views are beautiful from the covered porch. The beds were very comfy. The home is situated on a quiet country road and decorated with charm. We were in the area for a wedding and found this home to be cozy and comfortable Your little dog loved the big fenced in backyard.

Nice place to stay, quiet and relaxing

Very nice place to rent, on top of a hill with views for miles! Lots of room and hot tub is a plus. Decorations could use a dusting but overall we had a great time! Would recommend staying here.

It was a great stay. We enjoyed the quietness and privacy of the house. It was a short drive to Heb and town . Hot tub was great but needed to be cleaned and this is a personal preference but would have liked to have a tv in every room instead of just the living room. We do plan on returning . Its a great place for family or just couples weekend. Oh and the views BEAUTIFUL!

Hays County cabin

We loved our stay! It was perfect for my husband and I and my daughter, her husband and 2 small children. We loved the view and the wrap around porch.

We never used the hot tub. Very clean property. Comfortable. No shower in either bathroom- elderly people need a shower. Other than that - everything was great.

Excellent getaway

Had an excellent stay. Cabin is very cozy and the view from the back porch is beautiful. A very quite neighborhood with deer roaming in the morning and evening. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Weekend Wedding getaway

Probably would have been a 5 star review had the owner not shown up an hour before our checkout time and started doing things around the property. Felt it was very inappropriate… Made us feel very rushed to get out of there

Wonderful Stay at Double-D Cabin!

My group (5 adults + 1 dog) absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! It's location is perfect. Isolated, but close to Wimberley and accessible via paved roads. My dog loved the big fenced-in yard, and my friends loved the hot tub! The bedrooms were comfy and check-in/out were a breeze. I highly recommend staying here and cannot wait to return!

Great Hill Country getaway

Perfect getaway near Jacobs Well, Cypress Falls, and all that Wimberley has to offer. The internet is pretty spotty but that was fine to get the family off their devices. Hot tub, House and the property were great and just what we needed. The rum distillery just down the road was great as well. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect Getaway

Love this place. Remote setting away from the crowds but 20 minutes or so from groceries and a few wineries, a brewery and a distillery. Beautiful view plus the cabin has a large, well designed porch to enjoy it from. A great hot tub too! Roomy and comfortable with three bedrooms. The master has a temporpedic mattress, which sleeps great too.

Weekend Getaway

Nice, off-the-beaten-path location, beautiful scenery. The house was very comfortable. Property manager communicated about steps to take with cold weather pending, which made me feel better about securing the property. We’d go back.
