This home seems almost new, like it was built/rehabbed for spec and never lived in. The furnishings are adequate but spartan. The conclusion I have is that it would be adequate for a winter rental, but not summer. There were no screens on the windows or doors, so you could not open them. It was in the 80s during the day and the 60s at night, but the house felt suffocating. There is only an AC window unit in the living room on the first floor, and a window unit in the bedroom on the second floor. There are a few ceiling fans, but two window units couldn't begin to cool the rooms without units, which was most of them, even when we left the doors open at night.
Also, there is a very big problem with hot water. No one could get through a shower without the water turning cold. If you turned the shower off for a few minutes, it would warm up but for less than a minute, and then get cold again.
There is a beautiful outdoor deck, but no table or chairs, other than a few adirondak chairs. No tables of any sort. So when we grilled out, we had to go sit inside the closed up house.
There is no WIFI.
On the plus side, it's a beautiful property and we saw deer every day. Although it is very near the highway, it isn't near any entrance. It takes pretty much 30 minutes to get anywhere, including groceries/shops Some people might find the highway noise intrusive.
There is alot of potential in this house; I think if the owners had ever stayed there, they would quickly notice what was lacking. It looks like it is on the market.
