We stayed one week at the Punta Leona home. The house was very clean, had everything we needed to cook meals and plenty of outside seating to enjoy the pool and gorgeous sunsets! Our host, Wade was fantastic! Wade was very personable, quickly answered our questions, and provided several suggestions about excursions in the area. Our trip highlight was taking the one day cruise from Los Suenos to Tortuga Island where we had a wonderful experience. We snorkeled, swam and relaxed on the beautiful beach. The kids went on the banana boat ride and loved it! Another day the seven of us went zip lining not far from the home. We zip lined with the Carara Adventure Park Company and highly recommend them. Lastly, we recommend the Mangrove Monkey Tour and going to Manuel Antonio Park. Pura Vida!

Wade was a fantastic host who went above and beyond. I had a medical emergency while in Costa Rica and Wade helped to translate information for me and get me the medical care I needed. I can’t recommend this place enough. Between the beautiful views and amenities and the best host ever - it is well worth the money! One of the best vacations I’ve ever had!

Wade was amazing. He helped us in every way imaginable, and much more. The house views were even better than the pictures, I wish you could see how the mountains wrap around the Gulf of Nicoya for a full 180 degree view of sea and mountains - it was a great surprise. We even saw three whales sipping coffee one morning from the pool patio. It was great having all of the luxuries of Punta Leonas at our disposal and the ability to talk the 10 or so minutes up and down the hilly roads to the best beach - Playa Blanca. Our whole family simply loved everything about it.

Monkeys, beautiful Tropical Birds are always flying over our home.... Also, close by are National Parks, Zip-Lining, Canopy, ATV's, Golf-Carts, Crocodile tours, White Water rafting, Paddle boarding and of course Deep-Sea FISHING Tournaments are all close by Thank you

great place to stay

beautiful views, gorgeous house and such friendly people. Would definitely stay here again. If you want to see monkeys at the beach and other wildlife in a 5 star setting this is the place to go.

"Family of 12" was a perfect fit for the house accomodations for your visit. Our staff loved serving your all. Enjoyed Surfing, Zip lining, Deep Sea fishing, ATV ridding, all on the list of things to and close by the property! Come back next summer. Johan and Rosa love to see you.

Amazing Place!

We absolutely loved this place! It's super comfortable, location it's great, the swimming pool is amazing and Wade and Johan were super kind and helpful. Out time here was fantastic and can't wait to stay there again.

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Johan was incredibly helpful when it came to arranging things to do and suggestions for activities. We had the chefs come prepare dinner one night and it was immensely delicious.

Dear Matthew I am so happy you escaped cold February New York snow weather to our Costa Rica warm climate. Only 1 hour north of Manuel Antonio and 30 minutes drive from Jaco. You mentioned Yes the house is centrally located to Turtle watching, Arenal Volcano, kayaking, zip lining tours in the jungle, Tarcoles Fishing village, Pan-American Highway, 4 National Parks, sloths, howler monkeys, white faced monkeys, iguanas, sea caves and amazing rock formations and water falls....with many locations and outside activities. 8-12 guest perfect accommodations. Punta Leona Centrally located on Pacific Ocean located in Rainforest environment. 15 minute drive to Carara National Park. Playa Blanca, Jaco, Playa Hermosa, Villa Calettas. The Whales return in September!

WONDERFUL STAY

My family and I had a wonderful time at this house. The view to the ocean is spectacular, we could see also several types of birds icluding red macaws and toucans. Playa blanca is very close to walk by.

Fabulous, lovely 8 friends return to our home for vacation. Thank you. Yes !! "Red, Blue, Yellow MacCaws" & Toucans fly in a formation over the house all the time. A "Symphony of birds" chirping in the morning. promoting a secure, safe National Forest environment. Playa Blanca, 82-degree water temperature is minutes away. Pura Vida

Great Location

We had a wonderful time here. Wade is a great host and gave us plenty of tips to make sure we were prepared to enjoy our stay from the moment we arrived. The location, beach and view made us happy to be home at the end of any excursion. We will be back!

Spectacular view

We enjoyed our stay at Playa Blanca beach. The house was clean and had great views from all rooms. The communication with Wade, the property manager was very pleasant, he wanted to ensured to provide a five star accommodation experience.
