Smart, cosy, stylish, self-contained studio flat, in a block of flats in a great Central London location. Guest get the exclusive use of the premises. Located in Zone 1, just between Paddington (1 minute walk) and Lancaster Gate (1 minute walk) tube stations. Very close to Hyde Park (1 minute). The flat is on the top (4th) floor, there is a lift in the building. Has a double bed, kitchenette, shower, toilet, and necessary amenities needed for your stay.

It's a great location, ideal for short London visits or long stays, very convenient commute (tubes and busses) which will make it easier to explore the city.

The flat has a small kitchenette, bathroom, fridge, microwave, washing machine, double bed, wardrobe and all the amenities you need.
Guests will be provided with clean sheets, towels, soap and shampoo, and basic hygiene products.
Free internet, tea & coffee facilities.

Kitchen in the living space equipped with fridge, microwave, kettle, cutlery and dishes, and even a small grill oven.

We stayed 5 nights in this cosy little flat. It had everything we needed, and was so handy to the tube stations. Rodica was very kind and gave us a cooling fan as we were there during a heatwave. We really enjoyed our stay. Comfy bed and many eateries nearby, or facilities in the flat to cook for yourself. Also a washing machine which was very welcome.

Location, Location, Location. This place was perfectly located, a short walk, between Paddington station and Lancaster Gate station. Easy to get anywhere from here!This place was clean and had a comfortable bed. It is small but did the job as we were busy exploring the city.

The property met my needs. The check-in process was very difficult. I could not find the key based on the description I was given. I did appreciate that the host immediately responded to my email request for help. London is very expensive. With their great public transportation system, I would not pay this much again to stay in central London.

The unit location was the highlight of my stay. Paddington Station and Lancaster Gate are so close, and Hyde Park is at the end of the road. I walked/biked everywhere, including Notting Hill, Portobello Road, Royal Albert Hall and Marble Arch. With trains, buses and e-bike rentals nearby, getting around was so easy.As a solo female traveller, I felt entirely safe and found the unit perfect for me. Cafes, restaurants and grocery shops were all close by. The Italian restaurant next door had wonderfully friendly staff and the best cappuccino I’ve had in years. I loved feeling like a local in the neighbourhood.I didn’t cook, but used the toaster, microwave and kettle daily. The fridge, washing machine and drying rack were handy, and the Wi-Fi was reliable. Clear instructions with photos made finding the keys easy.The only Con I can call out is that with most buildings of this age - the walls and windows are very thin and there is noise from neighbours. Plus, the cafe deliveries started around 6am and you hear the unloading. The pub closed by midnight so the laughter died down eventually. I’m a light sleeper and slept with earplugs and was fine. Personally, I would have preferred some extra pillows, dish and bath towels, and extra blanket - but there was a radiator when it cooled at night. I packed a travel pillow with me, and I was glad that I did.I would definitely stay again. The location, convenience and neighbourhood made me feel like a local and I loved it.

This flat is in an excellent location in the city. We were pleased how accessible the Tube is from it. It's also in a lovely neighborhood with a wide variety of restaurants, diners, and pubs, easy walking distance from Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. Initially, it was difficult to find the keys to the space, but we got a quick response from the owner and were able to locate them.The small elevator did work to the flat, making accessibility into the building easier to the 4th floor. The flat itself is small, but comfortable and very clean The taller shower head didn't work and the shorter one couldn't be removed from the holder, but we made it work. The flat has a very large bathtub, something not seen in most AirBnBs. The small air conditioner did the trick on the hot days, and the windows were able to be opened to allow the cool breezes in during the evenings. The flat gets very bright in the morning with the rising sun, but it does make for an easier wake-up. Some soap was provided, which was lovely, and there were also a few staples available in the kitchen cabinet, but we didn't need to use any of them. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and we would stay here again.

I had an amazing experience in this apartment, we enjoyed cooking at home, it’s in zone 1 so you can reach any place you want very fast, many bars/restaurants around, and specially the host were very kind and attentive, she even offered me a cleaner during my stay at no cost. Also picking the keys was simple. We are very looking to come back ! Thank you!

Light and Good Location

This flat if exactly like the photos with great windows. The kitchen had everything we needed except dish towels. The washing machine worked great. I just could not find a hair dryer. Also, the neighborhood is great for travelers. Close walk to two tube stations and restaurants and small grocers on the same block. I will definitely stay there again the next time I travel to London!

Great stay in great location

Everything was as advertised. We gave it a four due to the check in and check out process. This VRBO is about 10 min walk to Paddington Station, 10 to 15 minutes walk away from main markets, although there are amazing shops and markets nearby. Hyde and Kensington Park are 10 minute walk. The room was spacious enough for our big luggage. There is a washer/dryer, but we could never figure out how to use them, so we use the launderette directly across the way and had a coffee and pastry while our laundry was being done. Just across the street!The room had been updated nicely! The owner was very accommodating. Our original room had an issue. The owner responded immediately and we were switched to a different room. The owner was very helpful and respectful. We would highly recommend staying here.

Lumpy mattress and plumbing issues

This small flat was located very conveniently to the Paddington train and metro station. It was not a 2 minute walk as advertised but closer to a 10 minute walk but still very convenient. The mattress was horrible. The springs in the mattress would poke you in several different places. It was the worst mattress I have ever slept on. When you turned on the water in the bathroom sink, water along with black chunks would come out the tub drain. The odor was this water and black chunk combination smelled horrible. The shower drain was also clogged. So by the end of your shower, you were standing ankle deep in water. I would not recommend staying here in the flats current condition.
