Villa Valencia is an extraordinary home built in 1900 in the height of the Henry Flagler development boom. We are located in the heart of the St. Augustine historic district with unmatched amenities so close to all the fun. EMAIL ME TO CONFIRM SPECIFIC NIMBER OF GUESTS AND CHILDREN UNDER AGE OF 18. Our main home is fitted with a new professional kitchen, historic styling in tiles, paints and lighting throughout. Our guests will enjoy 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms, along with an entry parlor, large separate living room for movie night, playing games and visiting with family and friends. An extremely private sunroom provides additional seating areas, a fun dining room of rustic vintage wood adorns the area as well. Our pool provides a very unique experience that no other properties can provide. Additional daily charge for pool heating in the cooler months, $50/day of total stay.
The "Cafe /Lounge" outdoor area, just off the kitchen area and through a private gate, provides outdoor private dining, gathering while taking in the views of the Flagler Memorial Church just across the street, and those views are like no other. Promise!
Our entire property is walled in or gated, with private access. You will also have garage parking for 3+ vehicles and that is rare, anywhere in the downtown marketplace.

I think this property is a gem. It is very well situated in St.Augustine and has a very warm and welcoming feel. Really enjoyed the Christmas interior decorations. It was very thoughtful of the host to leave fresh cupcakes and New Years party decorations for us. Our kids enjoyed those very much. The host had great communication with us and even provided a special request that I asked for last minute. I highly recommend this property, it is worth every penny :)

Perfect Place

Perfect from the start. Very clean place. All the rooms have comfortable beds and plenty of space to relax. The pool is wonderful and they provide floaties to lounge on. Everything is within walking distance making it the perfect location. Highly recommend!

Great location for wedding

We decided to select the property based on the size, amenities, reviews, and location. Little did we realize the location was perfect for our son's wedding which had the ceremony in the church across the street! The rehearsal day the groo9msmen met at the house and then the whole wedding party walked to the Rehearsal dinner at The Floridian upstairs room, followed by the Welcome Party at the Casa Monica pool!. Such a convenient location, walkable to all the festivities. The day of the wedding the house provided the perfect backdrop for the groomsmen to get ready, the bride to prep at the house, and then the first look across the street in the church garden! During pictures it was so easy for the wedding party to go back to the house prior to the ceremony to grab snacks, drinks, and other items, again the location was phenomenal! I would highly recommend this house to large groups and especially to anyone having a wedding ceremony across the street! The host answered many questions quickly and professionally! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!

Home Base

We had an amazing time in St Augustine for our son’s wedding. This beautiful home served as our home base for our time there. The outdoor space is gorgeous and was large enough for us to have 20 guests come to celebrate as we kicked off the weekend’s events. The home itself is exceptional. Well appointed. Suited to entertaining and relaxing. My only notes - make sure to remind any visitors you have that street parking is paid parking and blocking the sidewalk by parking in the driveway will result in a small ticket.

NYE in Historic St Augustine

We had a wonderful visit to St. Augustine to celebrate the New Year! The house, multiple patios and gardens are beautiful and the pool was warm and enjoyed by all! The house is located steps away from the historic district and many wonderful restaurants. We had a lovely and relaxing stay and wished we had more days at the Villa Valencia!

Best Choice in St Augustine

Where do I begin? From start to finish this was a brilliant place to stay. We didn't want to leave. The location is perfect. Two to three blocks to everything without the hustle and bustle of the evening crowds. The evenings were quiet as quiet can be. The house was just wonderful it fit everyone's needs and the pool was used even in the rain. Three car garage was perfect for the three couples staying and family dinner guests found parking relatively easy even due to Xmas eve. The house was decorated so nicely and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Extra fluffy blankets throughout.Only thing I can think that we didn't have was an electric tea kettle which someone brought so I could have my tea. But that was the only thing and I'm thinking hard here. We will definitely want to stay here again and I do recommend booking with Howard for this house and his property next door as soon as you want to stay because this is a gem of a property. Highly Highly recommend this property and this host. Thank you HowardThe Obermeyer Family

Early December stay

Howard was a really great host! The overall process for booking, communication, check in and check out was seamless and easy. The garage is spacious and large enough for a suburban and another two cars. The home is in a great location and is really beautiful. Only one room has an en suite and the other bathrooms are relatively small. I somehow misunderstood this from this listing. The master has a lot of windows that are not fully covered, so if light bothers you at night while sleeping, heads up. Overall a really great stay and highly recommend.

Family birthday gathering

We completely enjoyed our stay at Villa Valencia! The Spanish architecture of the home and its beautifully appointed rooms made you feel as if you were in Spain. The corner house location on a neighborhood street adjacent to Flagler College was quiet and yet we were only 2 blocks from the Center of the Historic District. The pool & firepit were a big hit for our birthday gathering. Everyone commented on the beauty of the property. I found Howard, our host, to be very responsive and accommodating too!

Wow!

We recently rented both Valencia and the companion property Marisol for four days. 9 bedrooms for family and friends visiting St Augustine for our daughter’s wedding. Properties were absolutely stunning and perfectly appointed. Anyone visiting us needed a grand tour! Howard was such a wonderful host! We’ll have to convince our son to get married in St Augustine so we can come back!

Fabulous wedding weekend!

We stayed at this gorgeous home for our daughter’s wedding weekend and it was fantastic! Everything was as expected upon arrival and then some. We hosted the rehearsal get together one night and the owner made sure the pool and yard were by clean prior to our event, I didn’t even have to ask. He just let me know they were coming, which was in my opinion, going above and beyond my expectations.If we had to do this over again, I would choose this home, no questions asked.

The perfect place for a perfect event

My family stayed here for my daughters wedding weekend. The house itself and grounds are incredible. If you are looking to experience St. Augustine, this is the place. The location cannot be better, and the history of the house takes you back in time. All of the family and guests that stopped by commented on what a beautiful place it is. The host was the best we have ever had the opportunity to stay with. This house made the weekend even more memorable for my daughter and our family!

Beautiful villa in the heart of STA

I couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay at this home. I booked this space for my 40th birthday, and there were 4 couples total. The location is a dream, with a parking garage for 3 cars, which is a HUGE perk for being so close to downtown. We were able to walk to all of our dinner reservations, and took morning stills through town. Of course it was hot in the summer, and the pool is where we spent most of own time. It felt like we were in paradise in our villa. The kitchen was spectacular, and perfect for our group. We had night owls and early risers in our group, and noise was never an issue when in your rooms which was a plus. I hope to find another reason to book this place, it was a dream. Big plus! I left my pickleball gear in their garage, and they were more than helpful in arranging to get my gear back home after I left. Thanks for the fabulous stay!

Wishes do come true!

This rental was a very important part of our stay as it was for our daughter’s wedding, which was held at The White Room. We needed large and local. This historic property full of character brought our celebration together with ease! 3 parking spaces! Large living room- open kitchen- great patio area- to many things to list! I was able to welcome and entertain friends and family with ease. The location made it easy for us to get around, and was central to everything. I can’t say enough about how happy I was with this property and the property manager. We highly recommend this property.

Where Vintage Meets Modern Luxury

Rich in history, St. Augustine is the perfect place to vacation and staying at Villa Valencia was spectacular. This beautifully restored home is located in the heart of the St. Augustine historic district and walking distance to everything. Our family arrived in 3 cars and how awesome it was to park in the garage and not worry about finding parking spots and/or paying parking fees for the remainder of the trip. Howard has done a superb job at maintaining all of the properties charm and character while providing all of the modern comforts. No detail is spared. Gorgeous hard wood floors and Spanish tile, stained glass windows, high end appliances, beautifully appointed furnishings. Immaculate and comfortable, this house is simply stunning inside and out. It is the kind of home you walk by and think “I wonder who lives there”. What a special treat to have vacationed here with our family. We loved the pool and appreciated that the property was gated with private access. The swing in the Sunroom was another favorite spot to cozy up with a good book. The grounds are lovely. In the morning, we enjoyed our coffees in the courtyard overlooking Flager Church and in the evening we sat around the fire pit or took another swim. Howard was great – always available and answered questions promptly. Our family is so grateful to have experienced Villa Valencia and will cherish the memories we made. We hope to return again.

Our previous properties were all 5-Star rated and we finally decided to add Villa Valencia to our portfolio of fine homes. Villa Valencia was built in 1900 and we just completed an extensive renovation to bring it back to its original Spanish Heritage with todays efficient amenities. Be sure to message us regarding any change in dates and number of days so we can meet the exact number of days your stay will require.
The entire property is walled in, or gated with private access for your stately visit. We have space for 3 cars in our garage.
Our guests truly spend hours at the pool as they come back and forth from the hustle and bustle of the historic city. Our living room is great for family night of movies, games and get togethers. Our outdoor entertainment area is great for BBQ's and sitting around the pool deck or in the cafe, enjoying your family and guests.
The Flagler Memorial Church is a beacon of history and viewing the light display in the evenings from our private "Cafe style" hidden verandah is spectacular.
