If you’re thinking of visiting Queensland, what could be better than a cozie stay in a charming traditional Queenslander! This delightful, spacious home is bursting with character and charm, making it perfect for a relaxing family getaway, or a leisurely trip away with friends.
Feel free to experience everything that beautiful, tropical Cairns and its beaches has to offer, whilst staying in a stunning home, featuring sumptuous open plan living, a lush pool and plenty of space to relax.
This cozie home captures all the comfort and quirky style of our much-loved Queenslanders. So don’t expect linear design and modern architecture - this is traditional home-from-home cozieness!
The four bedrooms are arranged as one with two King Single beds, two with Queen beds, and one with a Double bed. The villa is fully air conditioned throughout, much needed in our tropical climate.
During your stay, you will have complete private access to the property, pool and grounds. If you have any queries or there’s anything you need while you’re with us, we are only a phone call away.
I live just nearby so feel free to give me a call if you need anything at all.
Edge hill is one of Cairns’ most sought after suburbs with an array of awesome eateries on hand, as well as being walking distance to the botanical Gardens, and 6km to the city centre.
The best way to explore Cairns is always by car. Most of the interesting spots are just a short drive from the city. There is also a bus stop just around the corner from the house, for those wishing to use public transport.
Please note that the bi-fold doors located inside the bedroom leading directly to the pool area are not accessible and cannot be opened due to legal and safety requirements. The pool can still be accessed through the designated external access points around the property.
Cozie Travel We operate an in-house travel agency, with local travel experts that have a wealth of experience booking a wide range of tours, both within Cairns and all over Australia. We are more than happy to help with booking your excursions.
Shuttle Service We have a luxury 8 seater shuttle bus, together with a luggage trailer, and can be waiting at the airport to transport you to your accomodation in style. Ask us for a quote.
Baby Equipment Hire Let us know if you need a cot, high chair or changing mat during your stay! Thank you for looking after this home and respecting the rules during your stay.
Check-In Form & ID: All guests are required to complete a check-in form and present valid ID upon arrival. This is for security and registration purposes. Please answer the pre-booking questions truthfully to ensure the space suits your needs, and carefully read the check-in instructions that will be sent before your arrival.
Please note that we provide a starter amenity kit that includes a few essentials for your convenience, but for longer stays, you may need to go shopping to re-stock.
Please remember that you are in a residential setting. We remind you to respect the neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum.
No Unregistered Guests: Only registered guests are allowed on the property. No unregistered visitors are permitted inside the property.
This property has a strict no party, no smoking, and no pet policy. Any breach will result in immediate cancellation or eviction.
Check-in is from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM via self check-in with a key safe.
Check-out is before 10:00 AM. Unauthorised late check outs may incur a fee. Please follow the check out instructions sent to you and make sure you are familiar with where to leave your keys.
Guests may be charged for additional housekeeping if the property requires extra cleaning time.
Guests will be charged for replacing lost keys or fobs as well as a call out fee, if required.
Any smoking inside the property will result in charges to have the property professionally deodorised and furniture and carpets steam cleaned.
Cancellation Policy: Our cancellation policy is firm. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover your trip in case of emergencies, illness, extreme weather, etc. Any refund requests outside of our cancellation policy will be declined. We are happy to provide documentation to your travel insurance company to help expedite your claim.

Great location and comfortable home
This was a very clean and well-presented property with a great entertaining space and pool area. We immensely enjoyed our stay and appreciated how close the property was to local shops and restaurants in Edge Hill. Would stay here again.

Getaway with adult kids
It was so nice to arrive at a property that accurately reflected its advertised photos. It was in a perfect location to access Cairns for our island excursions and walking distance to great eateries. Kids gave it a 10/10 as well.

Nice n cosy vacation home
Nice and beautiful house with beautiful setting n deco, kitchen is fully equipped n the pool is great...
some setbacks are only 1 bathroom available, some rooms are not air conditioned, can be really stuffy in hot season, mattresses and couch maybe a bit rundown and very uncomfortable to sleep n sit on, fridge, microwave and oven are dirty and not properly cleaned.
Other than that, the house is really great.

This was the first client I took on as a professional hosting company, so I guess I will always have a soft spot for this property, and what a property it is. The family that owns it was living here for 20 years as their family home, but if you didn’t know, you'd think it was a purpose built holiday home.

The property lends itself perfectly to the holiday market with the open plan room kitchen and living area, stunning in ground pool and gorgeous quasi outdoor dining area. The area itself is an absolute gem. Situated right in the heart of Edge Hill, an easy stroll to the local restaurants, cafe's and botanical markets!
