The property was amazing. I only wish we had more time to spend enjoying each little oasis on the grounds. The kids loved the rooms. The interior is beautifully decorated bringing elements of the outdoors inside, and everything felt brand new. We were close to Acadia National Forest and great local restaurants and sites, so it was easy to experience everything we came for!

Great location away from the crowds of downtown Bar Harbor but still within short driving distance! House is well-maintained and provided us all the comfort we needed to enjoy our stay for the week! Hosts communicated immediately when we needed to ask them a couple of things. We would definitely come back again!

Beautiful and immaculately clean home. The location was about 20 minutes from Bar Harbor and close to Acadia NP entrances. The views and yard are beautiful. We would absolutely stay again.

Great place for families and friends

Amazing Mountain views was a great place to stay. The home was clean, had current furnishings and was stocked well with towels, etc. The kitchen was stocked well also. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Location was great for Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Host was easy to work with. Would definitely recommend this home!

Beautiful Acadian getaway

We’re especially grateful that the owners allowed us to,change the dates of our stay days before our original start date, after a family emergency. The house is lovely, well equipped and has an open first floor that allowed our family from ages 9 months to 82 to be around each other but in our own space at the same time. We loved our stay there.

Great Place

We are a family of 5 plus 2 grandparents. The space was large to spread out, had adequate bedrooms, and a table large enough to fit us all. Location in terms of being 15 minutes from anything on the island and the quiet neighborhood sold us all! We would not hesitate to rent again! Thanks for the great house.

Weekend Jaunt to Mountain View

Comfy, well-appointed, well-stocked, spacious home with views of the mountains and the sound. Location is great! Not too close to everything, but not too far. Owners are very responsive and provided so many amenities within the.house! We like to try different places to stay in MDI during our Nov retreat, but might actually come back Mountain View again!

Lovely Home

The home was clean and spacious. The beds were comfy. The living room and eating areas were spacious enough to comfortably have a few friends visit for dinner. It is dog friendly and our dog enjoyed playing in the snow in the yard. The only suggestion would be to have some glass dishes and a later than 9 a.m. checkout time.

Clean house, great neighborhood

For a second year, we stayed at this property for a long weekend vacation. The house was clean and has most of what we needed. Lots of space, good bedding, great view on the mountains nearby. Be aware that a pet fee will be charged afterward if Vrbo doesn't add it automatically at the time of booking. Overall a good experience.

Excellent property and location!

This is our second stay at one of Erica's properties and we have loved it both times! Check in is a breeze and the house was well outfitted with everything you could ask for to have a great trip. Kitchen was a well stocked with cooking and cleaning items and we were able to cook great meals while we were there. The beds are comfortable, and the views of the mountain across the sound are simply fantastic for sipping coffee and watching the birds! Erica is a fantastic communicator and I wouldn't hesitate in the slightest to book with her again. Thanks for helping us have a great trip!

Perfect stay

Very spacious and cozy house with an open concept. Perfect for my wife and I and our pups. The house is on a VERY quiet road with very little foot and vehicle traffic. The kitchen was very well stocked with appliances/other cookware needed for our Thanksgiving. The bed was super comfortable. Erica was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Bar harbor was 15-20 minutes away and pretty much a straight shot. Highly recommend!

Great Place to Stay

The house was a great location and not too far from all the locations and attractions of Acadia National Park or Bar Harbor. The house itself was very clean and cozy with plenty of space. Some of the heating/cooling was hard to work with and figure out but overall place was great. It does get a really dark outside without the lights so if you go out and will be coming in at night, leave one of the outdoor lights on. Balcony was a great site to sit and eat or just spend time with family. The Fire Pit is great to make s'mores at night.

We really enjoyed staying at Hall Quarry

We enjoyed staying at the Hall Quarry house. Its conveniently located to Bar Harbor as well as other smaller towns like East Harbor. We loved open space leaving area downstairs as well as upstairs bedrooms. Very well equipped kitchen! Thank you Erica for being easily accessible and very responsive. The house has two pairs of sliding doors going out to a big deck that you can enjoy all day. We were able to use fire pit in front of the house. The house offers everything and more. We enjoyed so much we didn’t want to go home.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Erica's Mountain View home in Mt. Desert. The location was great - close to everything Acadia that we wanted to visit, close to Bar Harbor and Southwest Harbor and to a great coffee shop (Milagros) and the IGA Foodmart so we didn't always need to run into BH to Hannafords. The house was updated, clean and comfortable for our family of 5. The upstairs was a bit warmer than we would've liked but the AC units worked hard as did the fans to cool the rooms down. It wasn't a big deal for us. The yard was great for our boys to play outside and we all enjoyed the fire pit and fire wood stand at the street corner was convenient. The hosts were very responsive the few times I messaged them and live nearby which was great. Overall, we liked the area and really liked the house and would consider staying again!

Quiet and Clean house but few things to note

The house is clean and spacious and located in a quiet neighborhood. There is a well kept landscape; great for morning coffee, peaceful rest, yoga, chat with friends, etc. The house is about 15 minutes from Bar Harbor so access to food and attraction areas were easy. Here are few things to note for others before booking. The check out is at 9:00 AM, which came as a surprise to us and our guest friends. All dishes and glasses are plastic. The 2nd full bath is on the first floor right in the living/ dinning area which makes it hard for two families to use and feel private.There are NO shampoo/ hair conditioning and bodywash/ soap in the showers so make sure you pack yours. There is no access to the lake across the street but there is another lake near by to swim and do other water activities.

We loved staying at this property. There were 3 adults and 3 kids (10yrs-14yrs) and w head plenty of room. We planned to bring our dog but he ended up staying home. The house was very clean and you never would have known pets were allowed in the home. The main living space was perfect for all 6 of us. Great deck and outdoor space. Ninja blender, toaster, microwave, drip coffee maker and pod coffee maker. The host was quick to respond in any correspondence we had. Very close to all things in the area -5 minutes to Echo Lake, 15ish minutes to Bass Harbor Lighthouse, 25 min to Jordan Pond, less than 20 min to Bar Harbor. If I had to give any criticism it would only be I wish the oven had a range hood/ vent. We did cook inside and I was worried about the smoke/steam with no fan. We would 100% stay here again and would recommend it to anyone who asks about staying in the area.
