Hot tub was not clean. We cleaned the hair and leaves out for them. The oven door was missing a screw. Texted the owner no response. The bath towels smelled like smoke. The tub upstairs doesn’t drain well. The photos must be edited well. The overall cleanliness of the house is horrible. I doubt they even clean it. Hair was in our tub, needed swept, and counters wiped.

July 4th week

The property was the perfect size for our group, although it would have been helpfulTo know the fourth bedroom was in the basement. When we arrived there was unbagged trash in several cans, a couple of which was never emptied. I contacted the host about the trash and she responded quickly, but when I asked about an hour later checkout, she never responded.

Memorial Day Weekend

Great location. Wasn’t that clean. No dish towels, ceiling fans need dusted. Smells moldy. Ran out of propane for grill halfway through cooking first meal. This is a great place for large groups, but just not as clean as any houses we have rented.

Perfect weekend getaway for big families

The house was very spacious for our large family. Property manager was very quick to answer any questions we had. All photos were accurate and fun was had by all ages!

Family Vacation 2024

The house was big and there was enough space to fit the entire family without feeling on top of each other. The cleanliness of the property was not up to standards. This property has a lot of potential but I would not choose to stay here again due to the cleanliness. The mold in the basement (basement bathroom is falling apart & very disgusting) and dirty bathrooms need to be addressed. Regardless of the price which is not cheap I would have expected much more, overall needs to be cleaned better. Under all furniture was so dirty and looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a very long time.

Family lake trip

House is great size. Hot tub was warm for us when we arrived. Very helpful for early check in. Fire pit was wonderful. It does need some upgrades on outside broken furniture and definitely more cleanliness. There were mouse droppings in all cabinets and a live mouse running downstairs with our teens. Hot tub was also not the cleanest. Still had a good time and enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful for a big family like mine.

It was nice to be able to have all my kids and grandkids together under one roof. Upgrades are needed but overall nice stay for a large family.

The houses beds are terrible they are not comfortable at all and the pillows are terrible too.

Main floor appeared to be cleaned. The furniture need to be vaccummed. The beds especially master bedroom and the basement bedroom beds are AWFUL. All the pillows was terrible to. The basement area appeared to have 2 piles of dirt left, which i was told cleaning person was by herself. But under the futons it appeared to be very dirty and needed to be cleaned.

Our Girls Trip Experience

I will start out by saying this review will be about my entire experience not just at this cabin (stay tuned to see what I mean...) My friends and I wanted a nice weekend in the woods of Kentucky so we had rented a cabin out in Kentucky. Within an hour of arriving, a tree came down/ blocked some of us in, and knocked the power out. We understand that is not our property managers fault but wait... So we stayed in contact with out management company (which we booked through Airbnb), we were talking to a man named Tyler which we thought was the owner of the cabin we were at. The power came on for a quick hour then out again. It was out all evening and we were told it would not be on for 3 days. Which meant all the food we had would go bad, we couldn't shower, couldn't cook! Tyler told us he had another property in Tennessee about 30 minutes away that if we would want, could have. The way it was worded and presented to us, we assumed we would have some compensation for our mishaps at cabin #1 and that we would not have to pay for cabin #2. The following morning, after staying in the cabin with no power since we were trapped there and could not leave due to down trees, we packed up and started heading to the new cabin. Half way there we get a call from Tyler who says he doesnt know if the cabin is occupied so we need to wait. We waited about an hour on the side of the road to hear back. When we got the all clear, we still never were given a code to get it. That took another hour. That other hour also included me having to drive around to get signal to try and "rebook" a new reservation because Tyler could not just give us the code to get in. With all that, I spent a couple more hours with customer service being told I may not get refunded for the last place plus I have to pay for this new place that I DID NOT get to Choose, and DID NOT have nearly the amenities that we wanted. AND it advertised and I had to pay for a hot tub that wasn't even filled and working. Overall, it was a mess, I know the losing power was no ones fault, but the shuffling around we were offered to help accommodate us ended up being a mess because I spent about 7 hours of my vacation that i was only with my friends for 36 hours (including sleep time) was on the phone, on hold, checking websites to book new places... we couldnt get back certain taxes (i do understand that) but overall we saved only $120 and spent a total of over $700 for all of this.

Good Stay

There was a couple issues upon arrival. Couldn’t get into the rental with information provided. I spoke to the owner and a new passcode was provided. It would have be nice if this new passcode was provided prior to arrival. Secondly, one of the bathrooms needed to be cleaned. Notified property owner of condition and it was addressed immediately. After these issues were taken care of we had a good stay. We had ten quests and all were comfortable during our stay. There was a lot of parking, we had five trucks parked with no issues

Loved our stay!

We loved the cabin and property! The cabin was very spacious and the bedrooms were larger than they appeared in the photos. Everything seemed very clean and I enjoyed the convenience of having a bathroom on each floor. We really enjoyed our stay!

Good Stay

Couple issues upon arrival. Passcode provided wouldn’t provide access. Tried to contact property manager unsuccessful. The owner did contact me with reasoning for the passcode not working and provided a new code. Once inside we realized one of the bathroom (main floor) wasn’t cleaned. Cleaning crew and property manager was there with the hour to take care of the issue. The balance of our stay was good. Plenty of parking for all at the cabin.

Nice time with friends

It was very nice. The beds were comfortable. We cook alot when we go on vacation so the only suggestion I would have is bigger skillets for cooking. The cabin was very clean with a good homey feeling. We enjoyed our stay and would rent cabin again if we go to that area.

Everyone who stayed was very impressed with how clean the rental was. We had more than enough beds and we loved the pool table in the basement as well as the hot tub. Will give you guys as recommendations for friends who are looking to stay in Byrdstown TN.

Family vacation

The property was very nice ,very clean,roomy . My grandkids had a good time in the hot tub,playing pool, and just exploring around the cabin.Eagle cove marina was just a mile down the road where we rented a pontoon and had a great time! Would rent again.
