We had a great family stay at this Virginia Beach house. The location can't be beat: it sits right on the water and the views are amazing. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone, and the living room had enough seating for the whole family to relax together. The water pressure in the showers was fantastic, and every appliance worked great.Our one disappointment was cleanliness when we arrived. We found a band-aid, sea shells, a stick, and fishing line on the carpet, plus a pair of sunglasses someone had left behind. Almost every window sill had dead bugs in it, which should have been cleaned before check-in.A nor'easter came through during our stay and left the windows pretty dirty, which made the ocean view harder to see. That's no fault of the host! We got creative, poked a hole in a water bottle, and sprayed off the windows we could reach so we could enjoy the view again.Overall it was a great stay, and we'd recommend the house for families. I just wish it had been a bit cleaner when we got there.

Great spacious house with oceanfront view

Our family group of 17 children/adults had a great time staying here over the Thanksgiving holiday. Lots of room for our group and everyone enjoyed the property.

This home offers stunning views and a convenient location near the ocean in Sandbridge, a casual and relaxing area of Virginia Beach. It also features several appealing amenities.A week before our arrival, I contacted Sandbridge Blue to confirm that the outdoor grills would be clean and operational. I also requested that the HVAC filters be replaced. Unfortunately, neither request had been addressed by the time we arrived.We immediately contacted Sandbridge Blue as instructed, but our call went to voicemail and was not returned. As a result, we were unable to use the grill. This was particularly disappointing given the company’s advertised 24-hour service, especially for issues identified at check-in.We also discovered an ant nest inside the home near the floor outlet adjacent to the main second-floor sliding door. In addition, several high-touch surfaces had visible dirt, grease, and grime. We cleaned these areas as thoroughly as possible during our stay.Given the cleaning fee, we expected the home to be in better condition upon arrival. We would still recommend the property for its location, views, and amenities; however, future guests may wish to bring their own cleaning supplies.

We regret you were not completely satisfied with your rental. As we indicated in our communication the HVAC filters are changed monthly as they were during your stay. We do have staff on duty 24 hours but did not note any contact from you during your stay. Please let us know next time of any issues and we would be happy to address them promptly.

Wonderful Family Getaway Home

The house is just as described. It is well stocked, clean, sits perfectly on the beach with awesome views and spacious enough to allow everyone to hang out together or to slip away and have some private peaceful time alone. Our group included my mother, brother, my husband, my adult children, their children, my nephew, and my best friend (10 adults, 5 children. Everyone had a great time and didn’t want to leave. My Mom has already asked if we can book again next year. I strongly recommend!

Overall Review

Perfect location. Older home that needs updating and repair. Most tv’s and sound system doesn’t work. Kitchen well equipped. Accommodating for large group.

Quiet Time

The house was beautiful, with plenty of room for 10 of us. The beach house had a spectacular ocean view, and the ocean was just steps away. We only have two complaints: 1. The televisions were not operational, as advertised, 2. The towels were not very good, considering the cost of the towel service.

College Graduation Celebration

The property was the perfect space to have my daughter's college graduation celebration. Many of us haven't seen each other in person for nearly two years and this was the perfect space to meet up, cook food, dance and be joyful. We had a house of people ages 2 years to 82 years old. The space was clean, well furnished and comfortable. We would definitely book this space again.

Some minor issues for large family

The house was at a great location and offered sufficient space for our family. We only had 13 people staying at this time. A couple minor issues were 1) Gas grill should be replaced - one burner and valve not working, rusty 2) hot water - spread showers/baths or take cold showers 3) beds varied in comfort
