The beautiful, newly renovated Winemakers House is in old Agde and has 2 double rooms and a twin bedroom with individual air conditioning/heating in every room. It has an en-suite in the master bedroom, a spacious shower room in the court yard for when you return from the beach and a general shower bathroom giving a total of 3 shower/bathrooms. The Winemakers House is an old house renovated with a modern twist but preserving its unique original features - enchanting and elegant.
In addition the TGV stops at Agde central station which is just a 5 min walk from the house and one can use Eurostar via Paris to get to Agde. Alternatively, Ryanair comes into Beziers Airport and from there it’s just a 15mins taxi or bus ride from the airport to the house and flights to this destination are super cheap all year round. Easyjet flies to Montpellier which is an hours drive away.
One can also easily drive to Agde from all parts of Europe as there are good motorway connections nearby (10.5 hours driving time from Calais).
Adge is truly a beautiful historic town first founded by the ancient Greeks. The black volcanic stone is unique. On Thursdays there is a magnificent market selling flowers, home made soaps, french cheese, fruit & vegetables and all sorts of wares - frequented by locals as well as visitors it’s an amazing market.
The Winemakers House is in the perfect location for both a quiet relaxing holiday or a more energetic holiday or a bit of both.
