A charming stand-alone home, close to the Queenstown town centre, with lots of sunshine and a unique `lookout tower` for spectacular elevated views of the surrounding mountains.

VIEWS:
Soak up breathtaking views of Lake Wakatipu and Queenstown`s iconic mountain peaks, including The Remarkables, Cecil Peak, Walter Peak, and Bob`s Peak. Bi-fold windows and a fabulous deck maximize these stunning views and let in a refreshing mountain breeze. A fun feature of this home is a lift that takes you up to a unique `lookout tower` with spectacular elevated views of the area.

LOCATION:
Located in the heart of Queenstown on Brisbane Street, this charming stand-alone home offers an incredibly convenient and rare address. Skip the steep hills and parking hassles that Queenstown is known for. The beautiful Queenstown Gardens are just a two-minute walk away and a stroll to downtown Queenstown is less than five minutes. Enjoy the convenience of quick access to restaurants, shops, and all the attractions the area has to offer.

STYLE:
Upper Gardens is a sunny and spacious two-bedroom home that offers a `home away from home` experience, with thoughtful touches throughout. Guests will love the extensive library, cookbooks, children`s story books, colouring books, board games, children`s games, and an incredibly well-stocked kitchen.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:
Both bedrooms and one bathroom are located on the main level. The master bedroom features a queen bed, while the second bedroom offers a king split bed that can be configured as two singles or one king bed. There is a second bathroom on the lower level accessed via an internal lift.

CONFIGURATION:
Sleeps 4; 5-6 on request.
● Master Bedroom – Queen Bed
● Bedroom 2 – Split King Bed*

* Split king bed can be made up as 2 x singles, providing excellent flexibility for groups. Please advise your preference when booking.

An additional room with bunk beds can be made available for a fifth and sixth guest with prior arrangement. Additional charges apply. This is located on the bottom level of the house accessible only via an internal lift or external stairs, therefore NOT suitable for children under 12 years old.

For families with younger children under 12, the fifth guest can be accommodated on the main level. There is a trundle bed in the master, which can be made up on request and must be pre-booked.

HOUSE LAYOUT:
● Main level includes living, kitchen, dining, laundry, bedrooms 1 and 2, bathroom 1 (this level is accessed via external stairs)
● Bottom level includes Bathroom 2 (accessed via an internal lift)
● Upper level: Lookout tower (accessed via an internal lift)

LIVING AREA:
The living room is bright and welcoming, with French doors opening to a fabulous deck and private lawn space. Enjoy the sun filled rooms and the refreshing indoor-outdoor flow, perfect for relaxation and gathering with loved ones.

KITCHEN & DINING:
An incredibly well-stocked kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. A spacious dining area provides a comfortable setting to enjoy delightful meals while taking in the picturesque views of the surrounding landscape.

OUTDOOR LIVING:
Make the most of the sunny days and outdoor living with a fabulous deck and private lawn space. Relax, dine, or simply bask in the beauty of the surroundings. The property is positioned to enjoy long daylight hours, allowing you to fully embrace the sun-filled ambiance.

OTHER PRACTICALITIES:
Off-street parking space for two cars is provided.

RATES, INCLUSIONS & MINIMUM STAYS:
Rates are inclusive of GST, premium linen, and a maximum of 4 guests. An additional fifth and sixth guest can be accommodated with prior arrangement and are charged NZ$75 per person per night (Maximum 6 guests). A departure clean fee of NZ$250 applies. Minimum 3-night stay year-round, and 4-7 nights during peak periods.

PLEASE NOTE:
Credit card fees are non-refundable. This is important to be aware of if you choose to pay your balance ahead of the due date.

The friendly team from Relax It`s Done will be on call during your stay for special requests and assistance if needed. We can provide full concierge services - perfect for local knowledge, insights on the hidden gems and to make your holiday hassle free.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS:
- Guest(s) making a booking must be over 25 years of age. Any guests under 25 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of their stay.

- Upper Gardens is a residential dwelling and no parties or events are to be held.

- Please be mindful that the property is located in a residential area and be courteous to your neighbours. As per Resource Consent with council, quiet hours are to be observed between 10pm and 7am.

- We are required to take a security bond pre-authorisation hold in addition to the total booking price. (n/a to Airbnb bookings).

- A standard exit clean is included with your booking; however, you are expected to leave the property in a satisfactory state (clear and tidy). Charges may apply for loss of keys, excessive rubbish, sorting contaminated rubbish/recycling, excessive cleaning or damage to the property for example.

- Charges may also apply for travel costs and management/staff time if for example, having to make a dump run, coordination of tradesman/repairs, additional property visits, shop for replacements, and so forth.

Marvellous place to stay

A very beautiful, spacious, and clean house with a great kitchen setup. The location is perfect for exploring the city as well as discovering the surrounding area by car.

Comfortable and well located.

The house was warm, stylishly decorated and well located. The house offered views of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains. It was a quick 5 minute walk into Queenstown however the location was very quiet. I would recommend this house for a comfortable stay.

Outstanding Experience

This is a great place to stay in Queenstown. The location is tough to beat. The property was just outstanding. It is stocked with all the little things one needs for a stay. The views are wonderful. The host responded quickly to all our questions. We will definitely try to stay here on our return to Queenstown.

The perfect location in Queenstown!

Beautifully appointed private residence with exceptional views of Lake Wakatipu and surrounding mountains. Easy walk to town and botanical gardens. It was nice to have off street parking too. The house was well equipped, we even enjoyed the gas fireplace on chilly mornings. Quiet neighborhood, excellent sleeping! A great home base for excursions to Wanaka, Glenorchy, and Milford Sound. We enjoyed our stay very much--I highly recommend this place!

Upper Gardens - Great Choice For Queenstown Stay

Upper Gardens is instantly warm, accommodating and welcoming, as soon as you walk in the door. This is the sort of property my son and I love! Modern (refurbed), with everything you need and a homely, comfy, relaxed and embracing vibe. Great to hang out in and great to come home to, after a day of doing whatever you want, in our case, snowboarding 1st to last lift. We had intended to eat out, but enjoyed just hanging at home so much, we shopped and mainly stayed in, listening to music, enjoying the fire and having early nights. The home is really close to town and we did manage to wander down (through Queenstown Gardens - so beautiful!) to for 2 dinners and a breakfast, including a walk along the lake and some window shopping. Overall, we loved Upper Gardens and hope to stay again.
