The house was really good. It really suited our needs. We had a little problem with the a/c thermostat but maintenance had it fixed within a couple of hours. There was a good breeze that day so we could enjoy our time on the porch. We used the grill so much we ran out of propane, which got changed out quickly too. Communication was excellent! Highly recommend! We would definitely stay here again!

One bedroom there was blood on the bedspread, and the sheets were dirty.when we got there, it was hot so we cut down the AC and it took until the next day find out the AC was not working. Call them. It took all day before somebody got out there to fix it. The lady were real ugly to us.

Loved this house and location on Bay side. This house was perfect for our group of 10. Six adults and four kids. Each room had its own bathroom and balcony door, which was absolutely fabulous. The house was equipped with everything that you would need plenty of towels, extra bedding and outdoor fun equipment like kayaks and floats. The only thing that I think is worth mentioning is that the bonus space, “the crows nest”, is placed right above and a walk through one of the king Master rooms. Not a big deal at all if you have a family with a couple of kids that can go up and down the stairs. The Rental company was very responsive and reached out to us to check on things. When we had an issue of need they fixed it. One thing I will say is they do not communicate through the booking app. It’s all from rental company, access to home only came a couple hours before check in and they do not do early check ins. Not a big deal except I started messaging in the booking app with no response from host so we had to call them.

The best vacation ever!

Visiting as a family twice a year is a tradition we cherish, and over the years, we’ve stayed in some lovely places. But none have touched our hearts the way the Bay House did. It felt like home the moment we arrived—peaceful, beautiful, and filled with warmth. We’re already dreaming of coming back next year for two weeks, if we’re lucky enough to find it available.

The Bay House!

We loved our stay at the bay house! The house was very clean and has everything we needed. Access to the bay was great for little ones and the beach was an easy, short walk. There are some sharp broken shells when you first wade in, so water shoes are a must.

Spring break getaway

The space in this house is only trumped by its location. You have your own private beach on the calm Bay side of the island. Then you have easy access to the public beaches on the other side of the island. All are within walking distance. My kids loved coming the beach for hermit crabs, watching the jellies float by and even saw a stingray. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here.

Gulf Side

The house was the best we’ve stayed in over our 10 years of family beach vacations. It was the first time we stayed Gulf side & in a fishing friendly place. The view was different from ocean side but had its own beauty ocean views can’t offer. The community was friendly and welcoming. It was also stress free to get the code for the door which is one thing that has been frustrating with our other stays. The property manager was very nice and helpful.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay here and had a very relaxing time. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils, would have liked to have some basic spices (salt and pepper ..). Also no towels or beach chairs was a little disappointing, especially for people who fly in. The Crows Nest we ended up not using as was a bit warm and we did have space for all without using - I do agree with the review asking for a tub lol Hard to bathe a baby without but we made do!Overall was a great stay!

Beautiful views

We had a wonderful time here, the home was great and had everything we needed for our stay. The back deck had such amazing views of the bay! We spent most of our days and evenings sitting out there talking and taking it all in. There is some construction going on next door. A notice for that would have been nice as it was VERY loud, but over-all we had a wonderful time!

Relaxing stay

This property is located in a quiet area of Dauphin Island on the bay. We enjoyed the view, the tranquility and the house. Thanks for the like-new mattresses! Areas for improvement would be the beach equipment. Chairs and play equipment needs replaced. I'll say, though, that is is minor in the overall scheme of things. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely House

Extremely comfortable. Super clean. Kitchen has everything needed to cook. Fast responses from messages. Plenty of room and seating for our party of 8. Fun ammenties include board/card games as well as corn hole. Perfect for families. Grassy areas to walk pet did not have any sand spurs. The board walk was really convenient. Path to beach is flat and easy to walk and travel with wagon. There is a pantry area to store food and 2 refrigerators which was incredible. Would 100% recommend and will definitely stay again. Amazing stay in the offseason

The initial reaction to the house when you step in the front door is “WOW”, the amazing view of the Mississippi Sound on the north side of the island takes your breath away. The house had plenty of space for my wife and I, two friends that traveled, and our Airedale terrier. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and gadgets and the two refrigerators we had plenty of cold storage for food and adult beverages. The house is a short walk to public beach access. The management group was more than accommodating when we had questions about the island and our parking pass. We even met the home owner who also was very friendly.

Beautiful house

We had a great long weekend at the Bay House. It is so charming, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The view is great, feels very private. The decks are even more spacious than the pictures show. Our one complaint was that there is no door to the downstairs sleeping area. Also to get to the charming cupola bedroom you have to go through the master bedroom. It was ok for us because we are a family but might be a problem for some.
