Ocean View Villa in MontaƱita

Located on a small hill behind the MontaƱita Estates Hotel and overlooking the town of MontaƱita, this home is a thoroughly modern and fully-equipped North American style residence. It is 7 minute walk from the beaches of MontaƱita (500 metres) and no more than a hop, skip and a jump to the centre of the town itself (350 metres). It offers you access to the bohemian vibe of the town without the noise and hustle and bustle - it's a relaxing oasis in the heart of it all.

This house is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, modern, bungalow-style home that will accommodate up to 6 people. Bedrooms and living room have direct access to the relaxing patio that surrounds a private, infinity-edge pool. You also have access to a rooftop terrace with spectacular views of the coastline. The home has air conditioning throughout and is equipped with a UV filtration system that assures potable water (i.e. water that is safe to drink) everywhere in the property. Wi-Fi internet access is provided. You also have use of a stereo receiver that is connected to ceiling mounted speakers in the living room and exterior patio speakers - you can bring your own music and connect to the home's sound system by way of the auxiliary port. There is a television in the living room and one in master bedroom. You can connect your device to them via the supplied HDMI cables. Access to Netflix is also provided ( Note: Regular cable/satellite television such as DirectTV is not provided ). A fully equipped kitchen is part of the package along with an outdoor charcoal BBQ.

Amazing place!!

This is the best place to stay in MontaƱita. The view is amazing, the place was spotless and had everything we needed. The host was available anytime we had questions and gave us awesome recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The location is great, close to town (5 minute walk) but far enough to have peace and quiet when we wanted. The whole family agreed that this was the best rental weā€™ve ever stayed at!!

Birthday Getaway

The house is impeccable with all the amenities you would ever want. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. We had a little backyard BBQ, made a few delicious dinners in the amazing kitchen. Would stay here again, close to everything, the house was very secure and nicely private enough to not have any worries.

Amazing... best Villa in Montanita

What an incredible villa on top of the hill of Montanita. Do not hesitate... book this villa. Absolutely the best property in Montanita. The view is incredible. Tucked away from all the noise and busy action of the coastal town - just a 5 minute easy walk down and your in the heart of the town. If this villa is still available - you won the lottery. The host were so amazing and always available for all my questions.

Terrific Stay in Montanita

This is one of the finest VRBO homes I have ever stayed in. We came for the surfing in Montanita but were blown away by the home. Clean, safe, modern and luxurious. Our hosts were extremely responsive and communicative and that always helps when you are traveling to a new land. I highly recommend this home for anyone visiting Montanita.

PERFECTO!

This property is even better in person. The set up of the house is perfect, the views, spectacular of the ocean and surrounding town. A perfect get away for short or long term. I was there for two months and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The house is the perfect distance to get away from the hustle and bustle of Montanita proper but only a 5 minute walk up the hill. You can go to the center of the beach (7 minute walk) to be with the "crowds" on the weekend or spend 10 minutes walking towards Manglaralto and have the beautiful beach to yourself. There is always the option to turn right to head towards the end of the beach where there are chairs and umbrellas to rent there also. If you try a ceviche cart at the beach, look for #13 and tell Ivan El Jefe sent you! There are many fun restaurants to eat at with Ecuadorain, Puruvian, Argentinian flare or you can dine with the street vendors. I will be hard pressed to find another beautiful house like this and location for next years 2 to 3 month hiatus. I must add before finishing that the owners (Phillip and Anthony) are off the chart attentive as well as the caretakers of the house Julio and Carmen. Fond memories will be with me forever.

Amazing house with excellent hospitality

I came with a group of 6 to celebrate New Years. Phillip and Anthony were extremely helpful in the lead up to the trip, answering any and all of the questions that we had. The house was beautiful - very modern and new - with great views of the sunset on the water. I would highly recommend this house to anyone considering a trip to Montanita!

Clean, cool and contemporary.

OMG. This was, by far, the best vacation accommodation I have ever had. The owners were super helpful answering all of our questions before and during our stay. I have had an easier time breaking up with girlfriends then the pool and patio when I left. We took a suggestion from the owners, and hired a personal chef to cater for us one night. Chef Guillermo was a wizard in the kitchen and dinner on the pool deck was one of highlights of our vacation. His cleanup afterwards was welcomed since he overfed us. I have no doubt if you stay here, you will be discussing a return within days of arrival!

Great hosts, along with a great house

The owners were very responsive to our questions and needs. They are truly great hosts. The house was very clean and well equipped...dishes, utensils, linens, towels. The decor was modern, pleasant and comfortable. The location is great, far enough away from the noise of downtown Montanita, but a quick walk and you're at the beach, restaurants and shops. Even though the road to the house can be a challenge, the house definitely rates a 5 star. Thanks for an interesting stay.

Great experience

Perfect house in an ideal setting. The pictures don't do the house justice, more impressive on the grounds. The host is fantastic and was completely helpful and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and everything was organized .Thanks again!! The house it self, is a real treat, we did not want to leave. The views , the decoration , and the feel were just fantastic, better than advertised . Highly recommend, and looking forward to returning - Wonderful experience

The best in Montanita!

Amazing property, probably the best Montanita has to offer. Highly recommended! Group of 6 stayed for 11 days in Nov, 2017. Nestled on top of a hill, next to Montanita Estates Hotel, overlooking MontaƱita and the ocean. A 5 minute walk takes you to all the amazing restaurants and shops, and to the beach. Phillip (owner) greeted us at the bus stop when we arrived, got us settled, and showed us around town. We had arranged for cleaning services during our stay through Phillip, who suggested Carmen (she does a great job / her husband Julio was also very helpful during our stay). We enjoyed beautiful meals twice during our stay prepared by chef Guillermo (and his wife Gabriella) ... hire Guillermo, it will be a treat; heā€™ll do the shopping, come prep in the morning for a few hours, and come back at 5:00 to do his magic and do all the cleaning up!

Stunning House, Amazing Hosts

I can't say enough about this beautiful home in Montanita. The house is brand new and the place is immaculate. It has every amenity you could possibly want, not to mention the beautiful infinity pool that has a view of the town. It is in a perfect location, allowing for great sunset views, an easy walk to the beach, and a quiet escape from the vibrant town when needed. The hosts were incredible and went well beyond the call of duty to make sure that we had an amazing stay in Montanita. I would recommend this place to everyone!!
