"Sister house" to listing 284113, this home is just two doors down and owned by the same meticulous homeowners.
Just like siblings, each has their own unique character and charm. This home appears craftsman style from the front and upon entry through to kitchen and bathrooms but then presents with a flare of beachy decor in the bedrooms. This house has been completely remodeled with completion 12/2022. Kitchen upgraded to white shaker cabinets, stainless steel appliances and quartz counter tops.
Large living room with comfortable leather furniture includes a 52 inch smart TV for those late-night relaxing hours. Large kitchen over looking swimming pool is complete and ready for convenience of meal prep as well as a gas grill just steps away on the pool deck. Experience the true Florida lifestyle as you walk out onto an over-sized covered lanai area complete with dining area and comfortable seating group just steps from the swimming pool. This allows the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful outdoors rain or shine. Lounge poolside or cool off in the new swimming pool while enjoying the privacy of your own fenced backyard.
We have prepared this home with you in mind; those seeking a little R&R at a Florida coastal retreat! The location is in a coastal community with the opportunity to visit several beaches in Venice, to the north in Sarasota, or to the south in Englewood.
Pool Heat is optional and available for an additional $110/week plus tax. Please inquire before or after reservation is made if you would like pool heat added to your reservation.
Ferry Pass (as mentioned in some reviews) is now available to residents only.

It was a great location near the beach. Check in was easy and the house was spotless and nicely updated. We loved the area which is less affected by seasonal traffic than other areas in FL.

The property was very well taken care of, lots of extra toys and beach needs to use. The owner lived close by and realized we had a toddler and came over to put a fence around the pool for extra security! Beautiful property

3 bdrm with pool vacay home in south venice

Ill try to add things that no one has mentioned in previous reviews. The house overall was well kept and you wanted for nothing especially in the kitchen. Host was responsive to texts. This is why I gave it 5.0 stars. There were a few things you might want to know: Downsides: mattress in master was a bit lumpy and bowing in middle. We went and purchased a 3ā€ memory foam topper which helped a lot. Since we were there a week it was well worth the upgrade. I spoke with property, she was going to flip matttress to see if that helps for the next person. The side tables in master had outlets to plug in chargers. And we loved there were blackout shades. Something most rentals don't have. The spare rooms had shutters and that was perfect for our kids. A/C has a set temp of 74 or higher. I was mainly comfortable with that but just know thats as low as it goes. The topper does create some heat so at times I woke a little warm. Pool was great and clean, sand toys , pool float, shark teeth sifter items, boogie board, umbrella and beach chairs were all great additions. * I would suggest backpack chairs to owner when upgrading as there isn't a beach wagon a lot of the chairs didn't have straps. Toliet paper was 1 ply, we left some charmin ultra as we are picky šŸ˜‚ Home is mainly lit by lamps as its a ranch and the ceilings are lower so this makes sense for the home. You just have to find the right switch or click a lamp on. Overall we enjoyed this property very much!

Clean and Relaxing !!

Check in / out was easy and simple. The house was AMAZINGLY clean and comfortable just like home. Everything we needed to cook, relax, or go to the beach was there for us. We enjoyed cooking on the grill while relaxing in the pool. We totally recommend this house to anyone ready for a wonderful vacation stay.

Great stay!

This property was great! It was clean, comfy, and nicely updated. We were a short drive from the beach. The pool was a hit with the kiddos. The owners were easy to contact and quick to respond to any questions. I would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Very Comfortable

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The property was very comfortable and easy to keep clean. It was slightly stressful making sure my toddlers didn't get near the leather sofa for fear it would be costly to clean, but I can appreciate the owner's choice to use leather as quality furnishings that last. I would definitely recommend this property to others!

This was our best rental yet!

This is our fourth rental through VRBO and I do not have one improvement suggestion to offer. The house was in perfect, impeccable condition. The decor is lovely. Furniture and beds very comfortable. Comes with enough towels for pool and shower. Kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal plus outside grill. Garage has automatic opener for convenient access. Plenty of beach chairs and sand toys provided. Coolers are also provided and there are ice packs in freezer. Street is quiet. Yes there is a slight smell to water but it goes away and is common in the area, nothing to do with the house. Would definitely rent again.

Sparkling clean property with great pool. Had everything we needed. Beach chairs, beach towels, toys, pool floats and noodles and shark teeth hunting equipment (my passion) all on site. Kitchen well appointed with plenty of utensils and cookware. Out door grill with spare tank is a plus. Great laundry appliances as well. 8 minutes to Manasota Beach. My only complaint is one week wasnā€™t enough. Will definitely return to this lovely home in a quiet neighborhood.

House was extremely clean and comfortable. Great location. The kitchen is very well equipped and they have plenty of items for you to use for the beach. I would recommend this property and use again in the future. This is the second property we have rented from this property owner and had positive experience both times.

The house was smaller than the houses we usually rent, but this house seamed just right. It had the room we needed, and no waisted space. Great location in a great neighborhood close enough to the beach, shopping, restaurants, and many activities. Would rent his house again......

October Family Vacation

We had a great time at Neptune Road, the kids loved the pool, and were happy to use the floaties/noodles that the owners had available. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The location was nice, convenient to stores and main highways. Unfortunately we didnā€™t get to check out the private beach (the ferry was closed due to red tide). Overall it was a pleasant, relaxing family vacation for us!! Thank you!!

Great Vacation Getaway!

Everything you would need and more for a great vacation. Close to several beaches (added to my shark tooth collection!) and convenient to shopping and restaurants. House is well thought out for vacationers in search of some R&R. It is well-equipped and clean, not to mention nicely decorated! Pool and large outdoor living area made for a prefect evening grilling out and playing in the pool. Weā€™ll be back!

So disappointed

The home in itself was nice, the neighborhood was run down. The roof was leaking over the porch by the pool and my bedroom had an odor. The shower water smelled like a rotting animal. We had a bad situation where we needed to leave Bc of a family emergency. She would not refund us any money.

We enjoyed our stay here. We enjoyed staying outside by the pool, grilling and relaxing. Stores and restaurants are very close. Shark teeth hunting on private beach was so much fun. We will definitely be back next year.

Gary and Angie moved from Wisconsin to Venice Florida in 2002 after making the decision to retire their snow shovels well before their own personal retirement. Angie a nurse and Gary a tile setter found Venice to be an ideal location. They were drawn to the local beaches, boating and marine life, and the charm of the historical quaint Venice. Venice has a "small community" feel yet has the benefits of neighboring busier cities such as Sarasota, Tampa and as far (yet close) as Orlando. They enjoy day trips with the grandchildren to Disney or a short drive to Sarasota for dinner. Aside from their regular jobs, Gary and Angie have found vacation home management enjoyable!

We moved here fourteen years ago and enjoy living the Florida experience daily; complete with beautiful sandy beaches, palm trees and flowering foliage year round. Not to mention historical downtown Venice with its many shops and wonderful restaurants in the area.
We own two vacation rentals in close proximity to one another "and our main residence" making it easy to maintain them for others to enjoy.
