Receiving check-in information so close to arrival, especially after a long trip, is understandably frustrating. That should have been sent well in advance to give you peace of mind, and we’ll make sure our communication timeline is improved moving forward. As for the condition of the home—down feathers on arrival, ants in the kitchen, and signs of wear like loose hardware and a low-quality showerhead—those details matter and should never be overlooked. We also agree that guests shouldn’t be expected to simply accept ants as normal. While mountain homes can face occasional pest issues, our goal is always to stay ahead of them through proactive cleaning and prevention. Your point about the kitchen setup is also well taken. A fully functional coffee station with filters and fresh supplies should be a basic expectation, and we’ll be reviewing our kitchen inventory to bring it up to a better standard. We truly appreciate your feedback—it helps us improve both the experience and the property for future guests.
