Business partners and lifetime best friends, Ben and Adam, run a start-up business from the house above this studio apartment, so they are always around to help out! Both absolutely love the opportunity to help share this amazing area with guests from all over the world! As self-described health/nature nuts, they are more than happy to point you in the direction of a stellar pressed Juice, yoga/meditation studio, or spot to watch a damn good sunset.

Overall this is bam decent place to stay. Communication with host was very good, place was clean, the AC worked great (and it was very hot!) and it is spacious. The reason I don’t think it’s a great value is for this price I think a few more basics should be provided. Kleenex/Tissues perhaps in the bathroom and by the bed. Lotion would be nice. The coffee is a tub of rather old Foldgers. Maybe an upgrade?There are four remotes. One is not labled and is a mystery. It would be a very nice gesture if a printed sheet was available with info, There are mysterious holes in the ceiling. Also, people walking upstairs come through loud and clear. especially on the Netflix connection. I had a terrible time with it and the cleaning woman had to fix the glitch. A list of local restaurants would be good too. I enjoyed Tony’s food truck the most.

Super easy check-in. Located in cute, quiet neighborhood with wild turkeys roaming about. The host was very hospitable. Definitely a keeper!! Thanks again for everything!

Beautiful stay at Three Rivers

I loved the athletics of the room and it’s quite near to the national park which made our travel really easy. Extremely secure property and in a great neighborhood. Would surely recommend people to stay here and enjoy a quiet and peaceful stay

The area was really nice, the one problem was the drive way up which wasn’t really meant for my car but I’m glad we were able to park it on the road.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hideout in Three Rivers very much. The studio is airy and cozy, very clean and quiet. We enjoyed sitting outside and observing the many birds that visit all day long.

Perfect for what we needed!

Really cute stay 15 minutes from the foothills visitor center! Easy communication with the host, super friendly folks, clean stay, and even better than advertised! Pros: Easy, clean, clear communication, great location in a quiet neighborhoodCons: only stayed two nights :(

We absolutely loved our stay here! The place was spotless from top to bottom, clearly well cared for, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The design is modern yet warm, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The location is fantastic — close to everything in Three Rivers yet tucked away enough to be peaceful, with beautiful views to enjoy. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was super comfortable, and check-in was a breeze. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area — we’ll definitely be back!

Great location, it was perfect for 2 people. The drive is steep, so I just parked on the road. Host was easy to communicate with. Was an easy stay!

Good Spot For The National Park

Convenient location to stay and visit the national park. Serene neighborhood. Ample space for two people. Shower is nice and warm. Comfortable bed. Full size refrigerator. Hot plate which we used for bacon and eggs. Well provisioned markets just a few minutes away. Good restaurant choices also just down the road. Handy washer room next to the unit which you can use. Excellent communication throughout.

I chose this place specifically because it advertised a full kitchen and a Tesla charger, but unfortunately, my stay was incredibly frustrating. Due to major issues with basic amenities, I strongly feel I am entitled to a partial refund.The Wi-Fi disconnected every second. I had zero cell signal, meaning I couldn't make calls, work, or browse. I couldn't even message the host except for two brief texts. The promised Netflix didn't work because the TV couldn't connect to the internet.I brought a full trunk of groceries to cook, but the electric stove wouldn't even boil water (it is only good for warming up pre-cooked food). The cutting board was covered in dark mold, the pots were cheaply made and heavily scratched down to the bare metal, and the electric kettle was badly stained inside. The provided oats and Folgers coffee were loose/not individually wrapped, which felt unsanitary. I couldn't cook a single meal, had to throw away my groceries, and was forced to buy pre-made food from the supermarket.This is a remodeled garage. The entrance door is incredibly thin and felt flimsy enough for anyone to break in. While the location is uphill and quiet with no foot traffic, it still felt quite unsafe as a solo traveler. The white decorative curtains were visibly dirty and stained.While the bathroom and toilet were clean, the towels were paper-thin and felt like old mops. The hair dryer was an ancient, motel-style model.The bed was comfortable, and the sheets were clean.

Great mini-vacay to visit Sequoia National & Kings Canyon

This studio apt is located beneath a separate rental home in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. It is clean, bright, modern and spacious enough for 4 people.There is a super easy code lock door (though it does love to lock itself all the time!), the A/C unit works great, and we loved having the ceiling fan on since it was too hot outside to leave the screened windows open for a breeze.We have no issues sleeping with noise but some might find the refrigerator humming to be quite loud. But the mattress was SO comfortable - we slept so well!The kitchenette was small but very functional. The owner was AWESOME when I mentioned that there were no ice cube trays in the freezer... he had some dropped off the same day!Laundry room available but we didn't need it for our short stay.The unit is pretty close to the town center, and there was a good market and several nice restaurants available.My only minor gripe is that the online listing did not indicate that I would need to use a 3rd party app called Truvi to verify my identity and pay an additional damage waiver. Upon searching, Truvi did not get good reviews and I requested skipping that step.The very BEST part of our stay... we saw so many animals right outside the door: rabbits, woodpeckers, Calif quail, turkeys and even a deer walked right through the yard at the bottom of the hill.It was a lovely and relaxing spot to begin and end our days - most of which were spent in the National parks.

Property Details Were Not Accurate - Do not stay here

The property description indicates a steep driveway. Upon our arrival, the driveway was blocked by construction workers...fine, we figured it out but then our climb up the driveway was not only steep but very rugged with potholes. Some as deep as a foot and the same width. We were afraid we would damaged our rental so we parked on the street. We understand steep but the driveway has not been kept up and the property owner was unreasonable to think that it was suitable for renters. There were also several issues with the inside. The toilet seat was nearly falling off, and to avoid an injury, my husband tightened it himself. The shower does not drain properly so the bathroom floor is always wet and slippery. I also found two cans of pesticides (Raid) stored right next to the cookware. We were originally planning to stay four nights but left after two. When I tried to cancel the last two nights, the property owner would not give me a refund and instead said he would send his cleaner and handyman in to fix the issues. I can move a can of Raid and my husband had already fixed the toilet seat. The shower issue isn't an easy fix. Also, there was no hand soap available in the bathroom and we were only provided two very thin bath towels for a four night stay. For a vacation rental, it was very disappointing. The only positive was the location. Only a 10 minute drive to the entrance of Seqoria National Park (not five like the property listing indicates.)

Overall we had a good experience. The best feature was the location. The down stairs condo was spacious enough for me and my husband. The bed was comfortable. The only drawbacks was the shower doesn’t have the correct slope for proper drainage which leaves the floor damp around the toilet. Also could have used more towels.

Review

Hey! Great experience, very close to the beautiful city of Three Rivers. So many hidden spots and very delicious food. You get so used to the people around, the area and it’s very safe knowing there’s lock pads on the doors and cameras outside just for safety reasons. I’d say the room was definitely clean! Had a difficulty but not everyone is perfect! (Fridge didn’t turn on haha) Besides that, everything was great! Cleanliness was amazing and on point! Slept comfortably and felt that distance from others who stayed a night. I would definitely come again.

Perfect for a small family but needs improvements around the cabin

I stayed here with my family for two nights. Property is pretty clean and newly renovated. It is perfect for a couple however there is no seating or picnic table or porch in front or back of the house to enjoy the location or view.
