1925 Real Beach House is 150 steps to the sand ., Clearwater Beach, 5 blocks walk to Pier 60, in quiet historic part of Clearwater Beach called Clearwater Cottages Old Florida DIstrict. House features large Tropical front yard, 3 foot wall around with Tiki Hut and wood deck . Best seat in town after a day at the beach. Backyard features: Shared Key West style backyard with Tin roof Gazebo, wood deck, Massive Tropical Trees Large Hot Tub
Enjoy a real Beach House with Old Florida charm. Features large front your overlooking Mandalay Ave with Massive Palm Trees and Tiki Hut light at night. 3 foot high wall around house , Great for kids or pets to run around, while guests relax at the Tiki Hut. The Tiki Cottage features King Size bed with Beautyrest Quality Mattress, Wall bed in kitchen bedroom combo, and queen sofabed in living room. 2 50 inch Flat LCD TV.s, and full kitchen. Stays cool with 2 window air conditioners
This is a ONE BEDROOM HOUSE with Kingsize bed in large master bedroom, with a sofabed in living room, and Steel Bunk Beds in kitchen. Ideal for a couple with 2 to 4 children looking for a house with kitchen and good value. It is not a 2 bedroom, and not an upscale rental, but clean, remodeled 2024 homey and fun. It has one full remodeled bath.

Large Hot tub in recreation area right out your door. We also have a private Hot Tub available in winter months only in enclosed Balinese wood house. Please reserve.


Housekeeper onsite to insure all your vacation needs are met. Have a cup of coffee on the beach, walk back to the house in seconds. Enjoy the afternoon in shaded backyard with wood deck and massive tropical trees providing shade. Families have enjoyed this real beach cottage since the 1920 s

All our cottages have extra sealed linens and towels.
Our house keepers are always around and will meet you upon check in to
insure your property is as clean as you want.

Pets are welcome for one pet add Club fee, second pet add Property Fee.
Since we are pet friendly if your children have any allergy issues please do not book this property

By far the cleanest place I’ve stayed at while on vacation! It was amazing. Such a cute place. And the outside seating was amazing. Capt Al was great and so easy to work with. We got in in the middle of the night but everything was set and easy to get to. About a block from the sand and another from the water. It was as close as I’m used to at other states. With never being to Florida the sun burnt me to a crisp. Amazing place over all! Pretty quiet and a unique experience

Quaint cottage in great location

Perfect for a 2-3 night stay - we were a block from beach and 3 blocks from beach where dogs are allowed. Cottage was charming, comfy bed, had all we needed.

The property listed that it had two bathrooms, we only had one. There is not a pool on site, there is a public pool about two blocks down that is only open to 12-5pm. The hot tub at the cottages was completely infesfed with mosquitoes, The doors did not stay shut unless they were locked. The "fence" was not even able to keep my small dogs inside because it's barely a foot tall. There were a set of bunk beds in the kitchen but no air conditioning in the kitchen itself so it was too hot to sleep in. The bathroom was full of lizards and the floors felt fragile, like you could fall through some spots. it's quiet and the people are nice but you can definitely get a better spot for your money.

This place was so cozy! Such a cute cottage! Had everything we needed within walking distance and only a few steps from the beach! There are so many restaurants, pubs and shopping stores, we never ran out of things to do!

Best family vacation ever!

Captain Al was extremely attentive to any questions we had! The cottage and location were amazing for my 2 children husband and I. Everything was very clean and the cottage space outdoor was perfect to let the kids exert any extra exert they had before and after the beach! Can not wait to book next year!!

Clearwater Beach

If you like cottages that are old like I do this is the place for you. Very clean and Al and his crew were very accommodating to whatever you needed. The beach is right down the end of the road which was fantastic! Shops and restaurants are within walking distance which is another plus. Would definitely recommend staying there. Thank you Al for a great week.

We loved it! Very cute, eclectic old Florida vibe. Short walk to beach. Bikes, boards, buckets, and floats available to guests. No need to purchase. Chairs and umbrellas available for rent on beach. Will come back!

I love these cottages!

High rises and fancy hotels are ok in foreign countries but if you want to experience Clearwater Beach the way it used to be you need to check these out! Wonderful historic cottages lets you feel like you LIVE on the beach instead of just visiting. The staff is great, the cottages are authentic. The feeling is amazing. I've stayed in 5 star hotels - when I visit CW Beach I want to feel like I'm home. Highly recommend for those who want to really relax. I will DEFINITELY stay here again!

My vacation home!

The Tiki Hut is a one of a kind experience! Perfect for my needs. Dog friendly, the manager is on site for questions or assistance but he does not make himself a nuisance. I didn't get a chance to use the new hot tub that goes with this rental but I'm sure it can only make your stay that much better. No complaints!

Enjoyed our stay

As reviews state the property could use updating but we were comfortable in our stay. The living room space stays much colder than the other rooms when air is on but we bought a fan and directed the air to the other rooms and it worked fine. Captain Al is very responsive to any text messages. The location was great, minimal walk to beach and we could walk to restaurants and shopping

Perfect!

We had no problem finding the place. Plenty of room for six grown adults and older kids to sleep. This property is not directly on the beach but a short walk down a dead-end road to it. Absolutely no problems. We took advantage of the hot tub, and when I asked captain Al a question, he responded very quickly. Great memories were made. Walking distance to just about anything we needed.

Clearwater Tiki Hut

Definitely as described, the wall around tiki hut is actually 2 foot high so it is not very pet safe, we loved the accommodations and location. Staff was very accommodating sadly hot tub was not working. We would definitely stay here again

We booked this property due to the pictures of the pool that we saw, there is no pool at this location. The pool pictured is a community pool in the area. The kids were pretty bummed. However overall good stay, the hot tub was nice, the location fantastic, walking distance to many restaurants, shops and activities and only steps away from the beach!

Close to beach

It was very close to the beach, steps away but not on the beach and no view of the beach from cottage. Cottage has some repairs needed for floors, sink holes where we were afraid to step,especially in the kitchen. Sofa bed is really bad but kitchen Murphy bed and bedroom bed is good. Location is great, you can walk to everything. Nice palapa in front yard, great place to sit and people watch.

Glad you enjoyed that it was close to the beach and steps away, but it is not advertised to be on the beach and we do not advertised that you can see the beach from this cottage. Although the cottage has new floors there are some spots that are not perfect and we are sorry that made you afraid to step its just a bit spongy . Glad you found the Murphy Wall bed very good, sorry your did not like the trifold mattress sofabed. Glad you enjoyed the great location where you can walk to everything. Business Trip to Clearwater

Property was accurately portrayed and very conveniently located. Captain Al and his staff were easily accessible and very accommodating. We also brought our two dogs who had plenty of space and places to walk and exercise. Hope to return for a family vacation soon!

Hello Friends and thanks for visiting my profile. Capt.Al has been a property manager for this beach cottages, and vacation rentals in Clearwater Beach for 15 years. Originally from New Jersey, I have always dreamed of living at the beach. When you come to visit, my first mate Karen, and myself will be happy to show you around, and how to have the best beach vacation ever.

This is really the very last real beach cottages left in Clearwater Beach on the beach side of Mandalay ave. It is just a rare piece of Old Florida History, just like Palm Pavillion ( First Bath House in Florida). While most old historic hotels and properties have been torn down, the Cottages still stand. It's like vacationing when you were a kid,, or camping, where the Guest get to mingle in the common back yard with wood party deck and tin roof gazebo. Sit aat the Tiki Hut and watch the Tourist and Local skateboard or bicycle by.

Sleep a family of 6 for the price of hotel room, and save a ton on meals, with Weber BBQ grill and full kitchen. This is a house, not a hotel room, so you can feel at home. It is a one bedroom house with Murphy wall bed in kitchen, with door, and queen sofabed in living room, Not a two bedroom, but a great value.and central Air conditioning and Central Heat.
