We really enjoyed staying in this historic home and the location was perfect! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The house itself has some flaws but nothing that kept us from having a wonderful time!

There’s something special about experiencing Savannah from a historic home! We’re so happy you loved the location and were able to explore so much of the city on foot. We appreciate your understanding of the little quirks that can come with an older home and, most importantly, love hearing that you had a wonderful time!

The house was very large with plenty of room and king-size comfortable beds in each room with its own bathroom. The upstairs had a musty smell but not too bad considering the age of the home. It was in a great location for everywhere that you needed to walk. We all enjoyed our stay.

This home was perfect for our long family weekend in Savannah for a group of 10. The location is top-notch with easy access to River Street, the Pirate House, and a variety of dining options. We can't say enough good things about how beautiful and impressive this historic home is. Everyone had their own bathroom, which was a big feature. As our stay was in late June, we found the home to remain quite cool and comfortable with the A/C. There was also plenty of space for us to gather for meals and game nights.

The location is Excellent!Overall the house was clean, We could not get 2 of the TV’s in the bedrooms to work. The house is spacious and plenty of room for the 7 of us. We had a leak underneath one of the sinks/bathroom and maintenance responded quickly to resolve the issue. We enjoyed the outdoor space when the cats were not sitting in the chairs and on the table. It would have been nice to use the front porch but the front door was not to be used. We did some research on the history of the home which was really interesting! We did enjoy our stay!

Pamela, thank you so much for taking the time to share this! So glad the location was excellent, and Spanish Moss had plenty of room for all 7 of you. I'm sorry the TVs weren't working in two bedrooms and that the sink leaked, though I'm glad maintenance got out quickly to take care of it. I also understand the cats claiming the outdoor furniture and not being able to use the front porch put a bit of a damper on enjoying those spaces. So glad you found the home's history interesting, and truly grateful you still enjoyed your stay overall. We'd love to host you again! Gg

Excellent accommodation in the heart of Savannah. There was plenty of space for our group of 12 to spread out and truly relax, and we especially appreciated that each bedroom had its own private bathroom. The location couldn’t have been better—within easy walking distance of downtown’s shops, restaurants, and attractions, and literally across the street from the River District. For those traveling with a car, the on-site garage with space for two vehicles was a huge convenience. The outdoor area was another highlight, featuring ample seating, a BBQ, and a fire pit—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Highly recommend this property, and we would absolutely stay here again the next time we’re back in town.
