An amazing location and place

Excellent spot on a fantastic part of Georgian Bay. Bring groceries for your entire duration of stay and you’ll be all set.

The cottage was fantastic - beautiful inside and out - great secluded setting. Fantastic views of the lake and spectacular sunsets! Great amenities inside the cottage and for outdoor fun. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay! The house was beautiful, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The location on 12 Mile Bay is absolutely magnificent—stunning views and such a peaceful atmosphere. We’d love to come back :)

Our time at Jach’s Getaway was great. Comfortable accommodations with great waterfront and a range of spots on the property for afternoon siestas, The only thing we would have appreciated was air conditioning for some of the steamy nights. Thanks Mirek.

Amazing getaway

The hosts met us on arrival and walked us through all the necessary details for a great stay. The cottage is beautiful, clean, and a perfect layout for a family. We saw deer, loons, herons, foxes, eagles, hawks and a mink. The water was refreshing, the screened in area relaxing and the sunsets spectacular. We highly recommend and will likely return.

Family vacation

This property is awesome and is exactly as listed. The views of the water and landscape were breathtaking!! The gourmet kitchen was perfect for family meal prep. The screened gazebo was also a wonderful spot to gather. I highly recommend this beautiful property!

Beautiful update cottage with spectacular views!

Very friendly hosts to greet us upon arrival, show usb around and answer any questions. Cottage is fully equipped inside and out.

A true summer experience

We had a wonderful time at this pristine, well appointed, and well positioned cottage on 12 Mile Bay on Georgian Bay. It is just as the pictures suggest. There are indoor and outdoor views from a variety of leisure areas and we made great use of all of them, from the zippered gazebo to the little lounger outside the master bedroom. And most of all we enjoyed sitting out on the doc, watching the world boat by, swimming, paddling, and just enjoying the amazing weather. Thank you to our hosts for being responsive and supportive throughout our stay. We loved this place and would recommend it again.

Absolutely Perfect

Everything was just perfect and more. The owners thought of and provided most everything you would need. We stay at many different cottages throughout the years and this one was one of the best. The common area feels like it is overhanging the water and with patio doors at each end provided a perfect breeze. The views were some of the best. We wanted something private with the all the comforts. This cottage nailed it. Enjoyed having a nap in the screened in gazebo. The kids had fun roasting marshmellows in the fire pit area. We achieved a perfect rest... Just what we needed. Would we stay there again? That would be a BIG YES.

Fabulous getaway

Jach’s Getaway is simply magnificent. The attention to detail is incredible and the hosts are lovely. This place has so much to offer from the spacious cottage, with a beautiful, well equipped kitchen and panoramic views, to the sweet solar-lit pathways leading to the screened in gazebo and it’s comfy furniture. Perfect for playing cards after dark on a warm summer’s night. We loved the wrap-around deck overlooking the water with its great vantage point to watch the comings and going’s of the dock. It nestled up to the trees and offered everything from full sun to dappled shade. There is a beautiful, flower adorned, rock staircase down to the double wide dock, which is a great spot to hang out, swim or catch the sunsets. There is a lovely fire pit circle, complete with lots of wood, outdoor eating areas, and several lounging spots. The red swinging lounge chair was my favourite. I highly recommend this cottage for a family or friends getaway.

It was our pleasure to host Joanne and her family for a couple of days while they enjoyed the highlights of the Georgian Bay . We found them to be very friendly, polite and considerate guests who looked after our property extremely well. Amazing stay on a fantastic property

Overall this property and owners far exceeded our expectations that were set very high to begin with. The cottage had been recently renovated and was spotless when we arrived and had every amenity imaginable. It was very clear that the owners take pride in their property and make every effort to ensure your families vacation is memorable and stress free. What is not pictured and used every day was this awesome gazebo structure overlooking lake that is screened in to keep bugs out and very comfortable outdoor sectional to relax and watch sunsets. The dock and water were well loved during our week and perfect deep clear water to swim and house any size boat. Only "issue" which is more of a beware before you arrive is understand there is a long, narrow winding cottage road to venture down that is a solid 20 mins. Kids thought it was fun as was like a rollercoaster to get there....wife not so much LOL. But honestly that was the only thing if any that we could think of. We can't wait to come back and continue the memories. Absolutely would recommend this property and owners.

Great stay in a beautiful cottage.

The cottage is beautiful and very well appointed. So comfortable for a party of six adults, one baby and two dogs! The water was super warm for swimming and we had a go on the paddle boards. The view is lovely for morning sunrises and evening sunsets. Had a few visits from the forest residents to the garbage shed but the owners are in the process of securing this area. Hope you enjoy as much as we did!

Beautiful cottage and hosts

I rented this cottage with my extended family and we loved our stay. The Jachs are wonderful hosts! They met us on arrival to show us around and where to find everything. The cottage is immaculate and clearly very well cared for. All 4 bedrooms are very comfortable and the cottage is very well stocked with everything you might need. We enjoyed kayaking and swimming in the water. The water is nice and deep off the end of the dock and very clear. Highly recommend this cottage.
