Loved this cabin in the woods. Fall colors were amazing. Great location for site seeing around the area from Boone to Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mtn. Relaxing environment with decks, hot tub and fire pit. Plenty of room and well stocked kitchen.

Two families visiting Beech together. We had the most wonderful time and found this home to suit our needs perfectly. Close to everything we wanted to do yet quiet enough to provide us with the rest we needed after a long day of activity. The house is well stocked and we were not without any amenity that we needed. Cozy and quaint. The entire group was over the moon about feeding deer right from the deck!

Great Cabin!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The communication w the owner was probably the best I’ve experienced. Our group enjoyed a beautiful stay in the snow!

Host was great, house was quaint and effective. Well stocked from the hosts! We had everything we needed. The driveway was steep, 4x4 or AWD a must in winter. Also, the kitchen was small but functional and well stocked with dishes, pots, pans and accessories! The home was well loved, and there were a few quirky spaces that needed some TLC. Overall, fantastic location, great hosts, and overall great experience. Would definitely rent again!

Cozy and comfortable. The hot tub was a must. Peaceful and quiet. ALL the deer that came up to us outside. We were able to hand feed them corn. The kids enjoyed this so much. Does and Bucks. All was great. A long weekend of relaxation with the family. We plan to return soon.

Anniversary Trip

This was our second time staying at this cabin!! We love it so much and it has sentimental value to us! We stayed here in 2021 when we got engaged and then came back at the beginning of October to celebrate our first anniversary!! We can’t wait to come back!!

A Graduation Trip

We took our son to a cabin and place of his choosing for his graduation trip and boy did he choose a good one. This was a perfect getaway. The cabin was clean and exactly as described in the listing. Communication was excellent and we will be back again! Highly recommend this cabin.

Thanksgiving family gathering

What a wonderful cabin in the woods!! Exactly what we wanted and perfect for our Thanksgiving family gathering. Kid's loved the loft with arcade game and having their own private area to hang out. Bedrooms on the first floor were perfect for those wanting to get away for some quiet time. Plenty of games to play for family entertainment. Hot tub was amazing and the deer were so friendly ~ some ate from our hands while others were a little more cautious. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We will definitely be coming back!!

Chalet Fun

This is my 2nd time staying in this Chalet and we plan on staying again. This Chalet is perfect for our needs. Me, my husband, 4 grown daughters and a couple of son in law/fiances all were here this trip for a ski trip/ birthday for 1 of my daughters. We had so much fun (again). The kids loved the hot tub in the snow after skiing. They also loved the video game machine and foosball table. Definitely plenty to do right at the Chalet. There were even deer that came right up to us. Overall it was a great week.

Loved this Chalet

The Chalet is everything and more that is described in the VRBO description. It was super cute and had plenty of room for 8 of us for a Spring break/late season ski trip to Beech Mtn resort. We were about 5 minutes from the resort. The Chalet had all the starter supplies needed until we could get to the grocery store. The hot tub, swing, balconies, pac man machine and foosball table all were used during this trip. The only things we didn't get to try were the fireplaces and outdoor (gas) firepit, we just ran out of time. And the kids (all in their 20s) had a great time feeding the deer. The many extras were perfect entertainment after a long day at the slopes. The owners even texted a couple of times to ensure everything was going well. We will defintely rent this Chalet again next year if we get a chance for another family winter trip - even a partial family trip. Thank you so much for a great place to stay for a great trip

Cute cabin as described, good location, poor cleaning service

This cabin was cute and had almost everything we needed. My son loved the loft area w/ foosball & pacman. Half bath in the loft is nice. We used the hot tub & the gas fire ring a lot. Sadly the real fire pit had trash in it so we didn't use it. Broken glass outside in multiple places. Mattresses were pretty bad, as were the pillows. They also don't have mattress covers on most of the beds which is gross. Main issue w/ the house was cleanliness. It appeared clean, but you could tell it was a rush job. The living room rug was dirty with dog hair, popcorn, bits of leaves, etc. Dog hair on the couch (yes it is a dog friendly property so maybe I should have expected that) however you shouldn't see evidence of the previous guests. After being there a few hours & walking around, dust bunnies started appearing. It's obvious cleaners don't get under the furniture often. My MILs room had trash in the floor as well as a big clump of hair. She could not tell if her sheets had been washed because they were jumbled under the bed. Tried to wash them however there was no laundry detergent. Hoping cleaners bring with them, unlikely tho since there is a sign on the frig asking guests to start laundry before they leave, but don't provide detergent. I did email owners & they said cleaners were probably rushed since I asked for early check in. They should have told me no so cleaners could finish. I def would have understood. Getting in 2hrs early wasn't worth a dirty house. Wouldn't stay again

Weekend w/ Friends Was a Blast

Shortly after we arrived in town the homeowners contacted me to tell me the property was available for early check in, which was extremely convenient. I was able to communicate with them throughout my stay to ask questions and they were extremely helpful and thorough. The property was lovely, more than accommodating, and very clean. The only hiccup all weekend was the extremely steep driveway which created some parking logistics issues. Other than that - absolutely fantastic stay. Would absolutely recommend or return in the future.

Awesome Experience

We absolutely loved this cute quaint little house and will definitely be back! It had a lot of character and was located in a great area. My youngest son loved the loft and Pac Man game. My husband I and really enjoyed both porches- had my coffee out there every morning. So peaceful!

Perfect Getaway

This was truly an experience. This cabin was beautiful. The decor, the detail they put into this place is really thought out. The artwork we loved. The fixtures were a nice little touch. Was four of us in our family. And we each had our own special spots in the house. The kids loved their room! Was bedroom/playroom for them. They loved everything in it. The outside was just as beautiful and with all the detail made it special. We definitely recommend this cabin. And surrounding areas were great too! Best breakfast at Fred’s close by the cabin. Oh and the deer just walk right up to the deck very cool.

Ski weekend

Had a very nice visit to the cabin for a quick ski getaway. Our first time to Beech and liked the area a lot. Cabin in a great location! Property owners are great and even accommodating that we could check in a few hours early. Couple things came up that were a result of the cleaning company not doing their jobs 100%, but would definitely book again!

Ski trip

We visited during a snow storm, so we could truly enjoy snowboarding and skiing. Down side to that was that it was difficult for some people to make the drive up the mountain. The manager of this property has great communication and was able to give us a heads up that the cleaning crew wasn't able to make it up the mountain. We washed and dried the sheets and picked up after the previous guests, but we were fully refunded the cleaning fee. It's an amazing cabin with a beautiful view. We will definitely stay here again when we make it back up to Beech Mountain.
