Updated Beaver Village 2 Bdrm Condo

Updated 2 bdrm, 2 bath condo close to the heart of Winter Park and easy access to the mountain and all that Grand County has to offer. This is a top floor end unit with plenty of light and slightly obstructed views (pine trees) of the WP resort.

Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, full bath and separate sink area. Bedroom 2 has a bunk with a full-size bed on the lower and twin on the upper. It also has it's own full bath. The living room has a new pull out couch as well. Of course the condo is fully stocked for your enjoyment- coffee maker, toaster oven, pots, pans, etc, 3 TV's, plenty of movies and games as well.

You are approximately 500 yards to the main clubhouse which offers a pool, 3 hot tubs, common area and laundry. The Winter Park Yellow Line pick up right outside your door to go to Winter Park Resort (winter only) or you can catch several additional bus lines near the clubhouse that go throughout the Winter Park and Fraser areas (including shopping, groceries, liquor store and much more). Or skip the bus and walk 10 minutes from the condo to shopping, dining and breweries.

This is a non-smoking unit and pets are not allowed (note that we do occasionally have our cat in the unit and while we diligently clean the unit, if you are allergic to cats perhaps check another unit). And as we regularly use the unit ourselves, we do keep condiments stocked in the refrigerator which you are welcome to help yourself to (or ignore them and purchase your own but please do not throw them away).

Parking- there is ample parking for at least 2 vehicles in the unit parking lot.

Great Stay

The condo was perfect for our weekend ski trip to Winter Park. Great location for the park and downtown. Communication was great and I would definitely stay again.

Excellent communication & wonderful location!

Host provided very helpful information about check-in & the area that was very helpful and offered a smooth check-in! Location was PERFECT for getting to the slopes of Winter Park very easy and quick, and also had bus-stops right in our parking lot if we wanted to use the bus! Highly recommend this location!!!

Great location

The condo was perfect, exactly as advertised. Easy access to Winterpark base, the buses ran right on time and stopped at the condo village. Aaron takes great care of the condo, and was very responsive in answering any questions we had. Great spot for a ski trip.

Nice vacation

We’ve stayed at Beaver Village Condos before as it has the perfect location to the base and to town. Aaron had great communication with us. The condo was just as described. It was clean and nice. Will definitely be back!

Great WP rental

Stayed over a long weekend. Condo is very well appointed for families, with lots of creature comforts. We didn't have to buy any extra condiments or kitchen gadgets. Easy shuttle access to skiing. Kids enjoyed the hot tub. Great communication with hosts.

Great family vacation

We enjoyed our stay in this condo in Winter Park. It was a great location and the perfect size for our family if four. (2 adults, 2 teens). The condo is attractive, comfortable and was well-appointed. The owner was quick to respond to any questions. I would definitely stay here again. My only negative comment is that the pool and hot tub for the complex were a little gross and needs to be updated.

Thank you for your review! Yes, the rec building is not as up to date as some would like. The HOA definitely takes pride in maintaining all of the Beaver Village property and regularly maintains and cleans the amenities. I am sure your experience is not indicative of the typical condition. I appreciate your staying with us!

Beautiful condo

I really enjoyed the condo. The condo looks just like the pictures. The property is all updated, a corner until with lots of nice views and stocked with essentials you may need. The location is so close to the town and the ski area. I would highly recommend this property and would rent again. The owners do an excellent job with communication and keeping the unit well maintained. Note, the unit is close to the train which can be loud when it passes, and the top bunk is hard for an adult.

The little things that made it great

Was only there for 2 days but the condo was very clean and nicely decorated. What made it great was all the conveniences of having humidifiers, and condiments already there. We always go by the grocery store for meals, and you always have to buy full size condiments, or bring them from home. Having stuff like this already there made it seem like a home away from home. Thank you for sharing your space with us.

It was not clean when we checked in. Gross

When we checked into the condo the cleaners had not cleaned the condo from the previous tenants. This was after the owner assured me it would be clean except for some dirty dishes in the sink because the water in the kitchen was shut off. (Something about the first floor apartment flooding). When I called him he had the cleaners come over but they didn’t do a good job. Food was left in the refrigerator and freezer. They tried to leave toiletries in the shower but my husband caught them and asked them to throw them out. Even after they finished our perception was the place was dirty. The location is great. It is really close to Winter Park. Pretty views outside. I would not recommend this place.

This was an unfortunate (one-time) occurrence with the cleaning company. We no longer use that company and have not had any issues or complaints with our new service provider. We also offered the traveler a partial refund for the inconvenience.

Had a great time at Beaver Village

Great top floor end unit. Nicely remodeled and everything worked out well for our family. Loved the proximity to town and the ski area. Building was packed but unit stayed peaceful and quiet, I really expected to hear neighbors about but no problem here. Keep us in mind if you ever want to sell!

Cute and Cozy Condo for Ski Trip

This condo was perfect for our ski trip! It was easy to access from the main road that passes through Winter Park. It was very clean and cozy, had plenty of amenities, and the owners gave clear, easy-to-follow instructions. The beds were comfy, plenty of extras towels and linens were provided, as well as blow-up mattresses for people who didn't want to share beds. The kitchen was fully stocked and extra bathroom supplies were located under the sinks. The thermostats were easy to control - had no problems cooling down the condo at night as other renters said, but it did get down into the negatives during the day while we were there! Note that the condo is located on the third floor so you will have to carry your luggage up three flights of stairs. This wasn’t a big deal though. Parking was close to the building and easy to access. The condo is in a great location! It is located right off the main road that goes past plenty of shops and restaurants. It is located right in the heart of Winter Park, just a few minutes past Winter Park Ski Resort and about a 5-6 minute drive to Fraser. The owners provided a list of their favorite restaurants, which I suggest taking advantage of. I highly recommend eating lunch or dinner at Randi’s Grill & Pub - our whole group agreed it was one of the best meals we had ever had! We skied at Granby Ranch which was a super easy 25-minute drive from the condo. Highly recommend skiing here if you want a cheaper, more quaint skiing experience - great for beginners! We spent a day doing winter activities at Winter Park Resort and Colorado Adventure Park - both very close to the condo. Shuttles to the Winter Park Resort pull up right in front of the condo if you do not want to have to drive. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience at the condo and would stay here again!

Lovely condo with nice furnishings

We really enjoyed our short stay at Beaver Village this weekend. The condo appeared to be recently updated - flooring, bathrooms, bedrooms. It was really nice. The only thing I would change is the coffee maker. I don't think the water got hot enough to brew coffee. Other than that, it was great.

Fantastic accommodations

Fantastic accommodations! This unit is less than five minutes from the slopes less than five minutes from town you couldn’t ask for a better location! The condo was very well-equipped and very clean. The owner, Aron, was fantastic to work with through the process.

Nice, quiet place with updated bathrooms

This is a very nice condo close to the ski resort. We liked a kitchen and living room with all the updated appliances. Very nice grill on the balcony. My only complaints that the heaters have controls in each room which are little hard to set to the right temperature. Overall a great place to stay.

We had a great stay! The guys really loved the rustic decor! Everything was as pictured and stated! The size was perfect for us! Aaron was very helpful. We would definitely stay again if we return to Winter Park!

fabulous stay; we would rent here again

we stayed here while skiing at winter park 2/9- 2/11. Beds were very comfortable ; good set up for eating in the condo plus very convenient to every thing in Fraser. Overall was a great time by our group. Two helpful comments to other renters: make sure you turn the heat way down at night (in fact we had to turn it all the way off ) or the bedrooms will stay too warm for sleeping. We had brought shampoo/conditioner but only 1 in our group had soap for the showers so remember to bring shower soap as it was not provided.

Updated Nice Condo, Close to Bus, Small Master Bed, Communication Issues

The condo is nicely updated and close to the Winter Park Bus. It is on the third level so some stair hiking required with luggage. It was hard to understand how to control all the various thermostats (3), temperature control knobs (3) and electric fireplace. Also, I believe the bed in the Master bedroom is only a full-size (smaller than a queen) so it was a little tight for two. Also, some communication issues with owner and wrong lockbox combination.

Thank you for staying with us and providing a review. For future renters: yes, the heat is quite sensitive so turn down the electric thermostats in the evening to avoid overheating (there is one in each room; and two in the main living area plus the gas fireplace); note that the master bed is indeed a queen (I personally purchased it in November 2016; my normal bed is a king so agree that a queen can feel fairly small after that) and the lower bunk in bdrm 2 is a full size. Much appreciated

Fantastic ski condo

The condo was very nicely furnished and supplied, top floor with vaulted ceilings. Appreciate the coffee pot with the timer, a must have for ski days! Nice shower, great kitchen, and our son loved the collection of board games. Gas fireplace was also really nice to have. A number of small touches (games, movies, humidifiers, kitchen gadgets to name a few) made it a more convenient stay than many other vacation rentals I've been in. The shuttle from the parking lot to the ski area was a great amenity, it made getting to and from the base area much easier than trying to park at the resort (even better than the paid parking it turns out). The thermostat in the room with the bunks takes some getting used to; it needs to be turned pretty far down or the room heats up quite a bit. The outside air cooled things down in just a few minutes (December in Winter Park), but it took us a couple of tries to zero in on the right setting.
