The house is very spacious and in good condition. There is plenty of house for 12 people and a dog. The host is helpful, and it is a reasonable distance from Mount Snow.

We organized a multigenerational vacation trip to Whitingham, Vermont and this house proved perfect for our needs. The house is spacious, and it was great to have a swimming room and a game room. Enough space for all of us to be together and to have separation too. Owner has been very accommodating. We absolutely recommend this house!!

This was our favorite home rental to date and was perfect for our multi-generational family of six plus pup! The home offers many spaces for the family to gather, but is large enough to find your own little peaceful nook. Kitchen was very well appointed- we had everything we could possibly need. We especially loved the pool and game room! Monica is a great host!

Wonderful house for our family getaway. Great sleeping spaces for families with young children and helpful amenities like the large screen TV, pool, hot tub for tired parents after a long day, game room, and plenty of refrigerator space. Appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and washer dryer.

The perfect secluded getaway

The property was an absolutely perfect place to get away from it all with a group of friends. The house layout was ideal for a group atmosphere, and the outdoor space could not be beat. The kitchen has everything you could ever need to prepare meals fit for a king, and overall the group agrees, 5 out of 5 stars!

Would book this house again any season of the year. Had a group of 8 plus dogs - there was plenty of room. Great amenities. Host was a great communicator. Checkout list was very reasonable and not too much. Great property!

Family fun

Clean, spacious, well appointed. Easily accommodated are group of 11 With space for gathering all together or separating into smaller groups. The pool and the game room are awesome. All in all it was an extremely enjoyable week.

Fabulous Family Vacation Spot

This beautiful home nestled in the Vermont woods provided the perfect setting for a fabulous family vacation! The property had so many fun amenities that even teenagers werenā€™t bored! Monica was so easily available and great to work with! My only negative was that the area had many GPS glitches. But, I guess thatā€™s the nature of the Vermont woods, and once we figured out how to adapt to the in and out GPS signal, we were fine!

Pleasant summer getaway

Large, clean, lovely home with plenty of room for our 11 Family members, including grandparents, parents, and teenagers. Large rooms, yard, and poolside for all to be together but with plenty of space for smaller groups and different activities. Very nice game room with pool table, ping-pong table and foosball. well-equipped kitchen and spacious dining room, make preparing and enjoying meals together part of the fun. Some of us enjoyed kayaking on the nearby lake, while others loved lounging by the pool. Highly recommend this place for a summer vacation, and can imagine it for a cozy ski getaway.

The Best Word to Describe this Home is ā€œThoughtfulā€

Best word to describe this home is thoughtful. Thoughtful amenities such as shampoo/conditioner/soap in every bathroom, laundry detergent, paper products, firewood, etc, and thoughtful notes placed around the house with instructions on how to use things that some might not be familiar with (wood stove). The owner is also thoughtful, understanding, and responsive. Well stocked chefā€™s kitchen - all the appliances youā€™ll need and more! Awesome game room, sledding hill, fun equipment for outside play and plenty of games and puzzles for indoor play. Perfect for families! House is in excellent condition - nothing rundown, and plenty of space to congregate. Homey feeling, like youā€™re staying at a friendā€™s house, not an impersonal rental. Really felt like a home away from home.

The house was large and comfortable. Not as clean as most homes we stayed in- Moldy shower. - Pool had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. The game room would have been nice if the foosball table had balls, the pool table had more than one good cue stick and if there wasnā€™t a pile of random leftover plastic pieces and toys that was basically trash. The hot tub was over chlorinated and burned us. The kitchen is huge and easy for many people to get meals together and not get in each others way. The dinning area was nice with plenty of seating. The outdoor fire pit was great and the fireplaces worked and plenty of wood. We wonā€™t go back, because it was over priced considering all the things we couldnā€™t use or that werenā€™t clean. And we did send a message to the owner informing her of balls missing and the hot tub issue. She never responded. I wasnā€™t going to bother to leave a review since it wasnā€™t great, but an email came from VRBO asking.

Fantastic Large Family Getaway

We had our extended family up to this beautiful home for a long ski weekend and couldnā€™t be happier. The house is as described but the rooms are larger than the photos make them appear. There is no shortage of room. The kitchen has everything, the hot tub is well managed, and the basement is perfect for kids looking to escape patients conversations. Also, the fireplace and wood setup is phenomenal. Probably the best Iā€™ve seen. We absolutely will consider renting this house again in the future!

Exactly what we needed!

The property was exactly as listed. Functional and was fully stocked. Monica was very responsive and flexible. We had three families with kids and there was plenty of space for sleeping and also for privacy when needed. There were two living rooms which created the separation needed between adult and kid time. The house was well stocked with all the bathroom and kitchen appliances you could ask for and more. The 2 refrigerators were a plus! The property was vast which allowed for morning and afternoon hikes in the wooded back yard. We will definitely return for another visit in the future.
