Great communication with the host.Cabin is a per listing. 2 bedrooms on main floor, 3 on lower floor. 2 living areas. 2 large decks and dock and beach. Location and house are great for families. This location was a mid-way point for a small family reunion. We are interested in returning again for the same style of gathering

A Short Getaway

Some friends and I stay in this beautiful home for two nights. The view of the water and the quiet and well appointed space made for a restful couple of days. We will certainly be back.

An Amazing Place to Escape

I spent two days here with work colleagues. We enjoyed the large space to cook, eat and talk. The bedrooms are well appointed, beds are comfortable and the deck with the view was fabulous. We stayed in late September and had a great time. We will be back.

Lakefront at its best! This is perfect!

Lake front at its best ! A perfect spot for a family reunion - lots of sleeping options allowing privacy for all. The large open kitchen and dining area is a great gathering place. This place is loaded with gathering spots both inside and outside! Thereā€™s even a super fun little hideaway room that the kids love! There are upper and lower huge decks, a huge feature for us is the level grass area to play, and the big beautiful sandy area for kids to play. There is even a walkable long dock. The location for sunsets is the best. The ambience is luxurious with a very relaxed vibe. This is our second time here and Holly the host is lovely - easy to contact and so helpful. We love this place!!

Lake views, relaxation, & ice fishing

We had a wonderful experience staying at this gorgeous lakehouse. The host was so helpful and accommodating with the booking process and even left us a care package and bottle of Prosecco. The house had everything we needed and more. The ice fishing shack was a huge bonus and we all caught fish while comfortable and toasty warm. I would happily rent this place again in summer or winter.

Family Christmas

Had a lovely family Christmas at the lake house. Host was very responsive and helpful. The property could use a deep clean (walls, furniture, etc.) and some of the linens could be replaced, but the kitchen was very well appointed and we had plenty of room for the 14 of us. All in all, a good experience.

Lakehouse weekend fun

Great lake activities and view. Lots of amenities for family's. Kitchen was ok to cook in- could be more pots and basic cooking ingredients. Cleaniness of bed sheets and and upkeep not this best.

I am so glad you enjoyed the beach and home! We also love it and the lake. I am sorry you were disappointed about kitchen supplies. We have stayed at many air bnbā€™s and we include way more supplies than other properties . I know you were disappointed about no lobster pot but you never asked in advance. We have spices, oils, coffee, an instapot, blender, muffin pans and so much more. Our sheets are cleaned to highest standard every time by our long term cleaner.

Annual Family Weekend at the Lake

Every year we take a family weekend trip to a lake cabin to close off the summer together - our family consists of us, our four adult children and their husband and wives and our 3 grand children - this year we chose Lake Isle and rented this gorgeous Lakehouse - the house itself was wonderful - the kitchen had all we needed and the open floorplan let us all be together. The grandkids enjoyed the toy room and the beach toys and we all loved the fire pit each night - the bed rooms were nice and plenty of space we brought the kayaks and launched in off the deck- all in all it was a lovely family weekend and weā€™d definitely rent again. iā€™ve already recommended it to a friend for her family as well !

Beautiful interior, well appointed, spacious, & generally clean conditions inside. Unhealthy beach and unsanitary yard play areas due to high amounts of animal feces that were not removed until evening of our last day. Also lake water was completely unsafe to even enter or swim due to high levels of blue-green algae. Public government-issued health warning about the lake was issued a month before but guests were never informed. This should be mandatory. Initial communication with hosts appeared helpful and responsive. As asked for by hosts in their welcome book, guests reported any issues upon arrival. This included the above exterior issues, as well as preexisting ones found such as cracked glass patio sections, broken arcade and play items, 3 empty propane tanks, and others. Some issues were addressed by hosts, others delayed, and some not taken care of or acknowledged at all. Spacious outdoor top patio with beautiful views was vital as it turned out to be only usable outdoor space due to poor beach and yard conditions. Overall a very good interior/patio vacation but not the pictured outside lakeside vacation promised in the property listing. Loss of use of the most important outdoor recreation areas seriously detracted from the expected vacation experience, which could have been resolved if areas cleaned immediately, and all guests should be warned & notified of known unsafe & unhealthy water conditions. Very beautiful inside but seriously missed the mark on outside care.

Thank you, Steve, for taking the time to share your feedback. Weā€™re so glad you enjoyed the interior of our cottage and found it spacious, clean, and well-appointed. Regarding the lake conditions, Alberta Health does occasionally post seasonal blue-green algae advisories. These notices are precautionary in nature and state that algae may be present in certain areas and that swimmers should avoid visible blooms. There have been no visible blooms at Lake Isle this summer, and both residents and guests have continued to enjoy the lake safely. Conditions can change quickly depending on wind and weather, and unfortunately, that is outside of any property ownerā€™s control. As for the propane tanks, they were not empty ā€” the fire table was in working order. We provided detailed instructions, and the following guests were able to use it without issue. With respect to the outdoor areas, geese do occasionally wander through the yard as they do around the lake. We promptly sent our yard person to clean during your stay as soon as you raised the concern, even though the mess was caused by wildlife. All of the items you reported were acknowledged and addressed as quickly as possible. While we always strive to exceed expectations, it seemed that nothing short of a financial discount would have been satisfactory. We appreciate your comments and will continue to maintain both the home and outdoor spaces so that future guests can enjoy the full lakeside experience.
