Spacious quiet spot with panoramic beach views!



The Space:

This roomy, beautiful, beachfront house is located in Caplen, a quiet part of the Bolivar Peninsula. Outside on the furnished deck, you will fall in love with the views! There is plenty of room to enjoy the sunrise while you drink your morning coffee (Keurig coffee maker) and listen to the sounds of the Gulf of Mexico. When you are ready to head to the beach, it’s just a short walk, golf cart, or vehicle drive away!



Cocoa Beach features beach views from every part of the open living/dining/kitchen area. You'll find plush furnishings, hardwood floors, a game table and a dining table for 6. The living room has a smart TV, along with high speed internet, so you are free to stream all your favorite shows. The roomy kitchen is equipped with all the appliances you need to make your favorite family meals (including both Keurig and regular drip coffee makers), and there is a washer and dryer available for your convenience as well.



With nearly 1900 square feet, this home offers 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, easily sleeping 14 without utilizing bunk beds. One bedroom is on the main level, with the other 3 upstairs. The primary bedroom (upstairs) has one king bed and a smart TV. The other bedrooms each offer 2 queen beds.



The ground level area is the perfect spot to grill family meals that can be served while sitting around the picnic table in the shade, enjoying the company of family and friends.

Cocoa Beach is a great place to enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean, and we know you'll want to come back again and again!



Small dogs (35 pounds or less) allowed with a pet fee. Cargo lift is not available for guest use. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.

The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

Attending a Wedding

The house was only a few steps from the beach and the ocean-view was beautiful, especially during sunrise. The house was clean, comfortable, and overall a nice place to stay for a few days. We brought our own linens and towels but you can make arrangements with the property owners to have them available in the house for a fee. Based upon a previous guest post, we did bring bug spray. There were small ants on the ground floor where you park, but none in the house. There is a grocery store, family dollar, and dollar general a few minutes away in case you forget to bring something from home. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and if this property is available when we visit again; we will most definitely stay here.

Pleasant but not plesant

Fabulous view and location

Beachfront in a quiet neighborhood. The location couldn’t be beat. We had a large family group and the kitchen was a little small, but otherwise the house was perfect for us. We were able to set up on a part of the beach that was sparsely populated. For those who don’t know, it is leagal to drive on Bolivar beaches, so the lack of traffic was a big bonus.

Nice weekend

This was a very nice property. There were a few cleanliness issues that we reported. I don't think that the renters should have to put on and remove linens though - for the price, there should be someone that services like hotels& motels do. We did enjoy our stay.

Not the Cleanest

I had read the reviews - and thought those people were being real picky. Not true. It isn't a pigsty by all means. But there was in plain view dirty base boards and walls, tape on the wall, pictures in the master bedroom missing, bathroom not the cleanest, furniture ripped and torn in places. So, if you don't mind a little dirt this is the place for you. The rental company asked me about our stay - I told her of the untidiness - she didn't seem to care... Besides all that - great views and great beach time.

Family Get-a-wayyy!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very quiet and peaceful property. Condo was nice and spacious, just needed a little better upkeep in our opinion. Some ripped linens (not the linens provided, rather those of the condo owners themselves) and pillows, minor stains and a small hole in the wall made for a bit of an uneasy feeling being as there was not a walk-thru done prior to the official stay. Not a huge issue by any means because things like that are to be expected at a condo that is rented out year round, just as an Air BnB. Just feeling uneasy that you may be to blame after you check out ya know. Overall, it was a very nice stay, a perfect place on the beach, and we would definitely return!

Nice house nice neighborhood

We had a great time just a mis comunication since we got an emial the night we were there that they did not provide linen & towels that we had to bring our own, management mention that it was in their policy, and to be honest I did not read that in the fine print, I have rented many properties from VRBO & Airbnb and never had this issue, at the end we got the towles and sheets for a price not expected, to make story short not many of us use the sheets since when we started opening the bags where this sheets came in this had a bad smell and some of us decided not to use the sheets.. also the Fridge did not work well, TV in the livingroom did not work & fan & filter thru the house were very dusty. At the end we decided to just forget about all this and just enjoy since were there to have fun.

Great accomodation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Direct beach access without having to drive around, slept our group of 13 people comfortably. The upstairs was missing TVs in 2 of the rooms which the kids would have enjoyed and the cabin, which I suspect happens to most of these cabins, had a mildew/mold smell to it which took some getting used to. Overall, I'd definitely rent this again as it's out of the way of the very busy areas. The property management company was responsive at first but then failed to reply to my emails in the week leading up which contained very basic questions about checkin/checkout times and getting our key. It's a solid 4 out of 5 though for larger groups.

Fall family visit

I would def stay here again. It would be nice to see the bedding upgraded. Mattresses and pillows pretty worn and lots of stains, but we brought our own pillows , sheets and blankets. I would whine about having to supply own linen, but after seeing the bedding was glad I had my own stuff to sleep on. They advertise a grill, but there is not a usable grill there so if you grill bring your own. The Kuerig didn't work and the internet was too slow to stream any TV. But, overall, we were there to be outside and enjoy the warm TX weather, so none of this is a game changer. Just go prepared. And we were! Enjoy the local restaurants and the great seafood and don't forget mosquito spray!!!

Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay but when we opened the cabin the mold smell was overpowering, the cabin overall was wet and moldy, the floor was soft. Also it was dangerous to swim because the of the pipes and cement directly across from the cabin in the water. If someone dives in and doesn’t know it’s there, it would be a huge danger. The cabin is pretty worn and things falling apart.

The furniture needs to be updated and in some cases replaced, especially the outdoor furniture that had exposed rusty screws where pieces were missing. Being on the beach means extra effort should be made for maintenance due to the corrosive salt water. Doors on third floor balcony were unusable due to difficulty opening them. These issues did not detract from our stay, and we would happily stay here again.

The upstairs balcony doors we could not get to open so we didn’t get to enjoy that as much. It would of been nice to have had access to the lift. It appears that the comfortables or quilts and mattress topper are reused without being washed. We paid a good price for sheets and towels I would think that the rest would be washed after each use. Also non of the tvs in the house you could watch regular tv because of no satellite service. There is some Work that needs done on the property. I am not sure if the owners are aware of the issues or not because it appeared we might of been the first ones to rent in awhile. When I called I to Swedes they were unaware of the doors not opening upstairs to the balcony area.

Home has a few things that need repaired, nothing major, light fixtures, door to balcony, etc. Had a problem when we first arrived and the Swede team had a maintenance man there within an hour. Would rent again if maintenance has been done.

It was just fine for a week (and clean) but the disrepair was annoying after being there a few days with the cost. The beach is so close- no chairs or toys are left so bring your own.
