Great house for an extended family break. With the downstairs kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms it was good to be able to separate the little ones upstairs so we older folk could sleep.Really good facilities with a great kitchen upstairs and a lovely bath in the upstairs bathroom.Overall a great place to stay just outside Montville with lots to see and do close by.Highly recommend

An amazing view from the balcony

This is a great accommodation especially for a big family. Plenty of room to spread out and a wonderful kitchen too. The neighborhood and view are fantastically beautiful.

Beautiful views

The house was in a quiet spot with beautiful views across the hinterland out to the ocean. The house was well stocked with everything you could need. The beds were comfortable. Everyone loved using the fire pit out the back at night time. We absolutely loved our stay and will definately come back.

Spectacular views

The most amazing views and backyard I’ve ever seen!!! House itself is very clean! Had no issues during the stay! Watching the sunrise from the backyard that is on the edge of a cliff overlooking the valley and ocean was the best part!

Perfect family celebration.

I took my family away for my 60th birthday. The property was clean with magnificent views. My 2 yo grandson was asking to go back to the holiday house the day he got home. We had the most beautiful time. I would highly recommend staying here and both my daughters said they would stay again. My daughter commented that it was the cleanest place she has ever stayed.

Came for wedding, didn't expect a cyclone

We booked this property for a wedding close by as all were interstate travellers. Didn't expect TC Alfred to be one of the guests. Communication of the team was great. House was great, unfortunately half our group was unable to attend, for those that got there, house was great and was all that was described. A pity we didn't get to enjoy it more and see the wonderful views. Maybe next time.

Montville getaway

We enjoyed our stay as the House was lovely with great hinterland views. Unfortunately there were a few minor concerns we had with the property. On arrival the fire place had not been cleaned, with ash piled up with several burnt out logs. There were No tissues , paper towels , dishwasher rinse aid empty and nothing to clean pots and pans.. On the web site these were all to be included. The lounge seating is very uncomfortable and not enough room for more than 4 people. Also there were no champagne glasses but plenty of water glasses.The downstairs kitchen is poorly equiped with the bare minimum.

Spider bite

Firstly the water and ice component on the fridge was not working and we were not told of this. But secondly, and I think most concerning my brother in law got bitten by a funnel web spider INSIDE his bedroom. When I rang to tell them they should fumigate no type of compensation was offered considering he could have DIED and spent the day in hospital receiving antivenom.

Hi Karina, Thank you for your review and once again our sincerest apologies regarding the spider bite; being in the hinterland these things are always a possibility. The property is regularly fumigated for all insects. Compensation is still available, please reach out and we can discuss now that the owners are informed.
