Stunning Modern Cabin With the Best Amenities in the Area and access to pool

Cash's Sluice is a great property located just minutes from Terry Peak's Stewart Lodge, Ski Mystic/Deer Mountain, 5 miles from Deadwood, and has access to the ATV and Snowmobile trails across the main highway from the subdivision. Come back to your home away from home after a day skiing, riding around the beautiful ATV trails, or enjoying a festival and gambling in Deadwood, SD.

There are 3 bedrooms at Cash's Sluice, each with their own queen bed as well as a sofa sleeper in the loft area and a set of bunk beds in the lower level bedroom perfect for your group of up to 12 to spread out and relax! You'll enjoy having central A/C, WIFI in both the cabin and the nearby clubhouse, cable TV and a hot tub with a view!

The Gilded Mountain community offers a paved road to the property, as well as use of the clubhouse which includes a year round heated pool, dual hot tubs, a sauna, pool table, air hockey, and work out facility inside the clubhouse, and plenty of room to bring groups from other cabins together to enjoy some laughs and drinks around the fire!

If you're bringing larger groups and need multiple cabins to accommodate everyone, we manage many other properties very close to Cash's Sluice in the Gilded Mountain community. Bring your entire family and enjoy the best home away from home you can find while vacationing in the beautiful Black Hills! We can't wait to see you!

Awesome stay!

We had a great stay at the house. It was clean and the decor was top notch! My kids loved the Pacman arcade! We were near so much in this location I almost wish we stayed longer!

Beautiful cabin!

The Cabin was beautiful location in the Black hills is perfect to get to nearby attractions. But if you are looking for seclusion and a place to cut loose, the cabins in subdivision are very close together. Would totally recommend for family or quiet vacation though. The management company as usual was awesome to work with.

We enjoyed plenty of room to spread out and relax as well as planning our day together at the breakfast table and coming together as a family and enjoying time at the dinner table followed by game time downstairs every evening.

Every single person in our hard-to-please group loved the property and its location. It was clean, full stocked and plenty of space to spread out. It's also close to a walking trail down off the main road.

Better than imagined

Our group of 6 adults and 4 kids rented this cabin for July 4th weekend while seeing the sights in Deadwood and Lead. The cabin was beautiful and wonderfully located. We all enjoyed looking out at the forest behind the house and slept well in the peaceful surroundings. Plenty of space to spread out on the different levels and rooms. Two things to note. One is that neither of the TVs works well nor the DVD players. The TVs dont have connected to wifi or bluetooth so using then was out of the question. That wasnt too bad as we didnt come to watch TV but there was one rainy night during our stay. The other is that we couldn't get either fireplace to operate either. Otherwise it was perfect. This was my first time using VRBO and it was straight forward and easy.

The cabin provided good space for each family to have their own area as well as their own bathroom which can be very helpful with young children. The layout of the dining area and kitchen worked well and had plenty of room for all of us at family meals. We enjoyed the beauty and quiet of the area. We appreciated that there were only a few ATVs on the area and that people were careful to drive slowly and were not noisy. Management replied quickly to any emails we sent or questions we had.

Stairs was icy coming into the place. 2 people slipped and fell hard. The dishes that were put away were not clean (mainly the glasses). I turned on the oven to preheat and the place immediately got smokey, i had to get the burnt food off the bottom of the oven. Other than that everything was clean and as expected.

Cozy house and great location!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and it’s so cozy and has everything you need! Nice view and big windows to watch the deer come through. The kitchen is great if you want to cook and also has a gas grill on the deck. Highly recommend this place! The host was awesome as well!

Rushmore area, drive the entire Needles Highway. You will not be sorry. It was our most favorite thing that we did while we were there. The food at the Sled Haus was delicious, but take cash. Wonderland Cave isn't worth the stop. Watch for deer! We almost hit several.

Love Love Love Cash's Sluice

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. Three brothers and their wives stayed here and toured the gorgeous area in the Black Hills. The house has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms which were perfect for us. It's very close to the market in town but yet out in the woods with wildlife all around. Had trouble with the coffee pot and a new one showed up at our doorstep within hours. I would definitely recommend this location and will come back.

No Ms Pacman

Loved the chairlift porch swing. Well appointed. The grandchildren were very disappointed that the Ms Pacman machine did not work. We left a message with the rental agency. They said they would contact the owners. We never received a reply! This was one of the reasons we chose this cabin. Parking was a bit tight. We had a large pickup with an enclosed trailer and had to park at the lodge parking lot. If you wish to bring a motorcycle into this development check with the rental agency as some of the driveways are very steep and only graveled. Even with care could still be dangerous. Overall we had a good experience.

Cash’s Sluice stay

Reviewer Comments: Our two children & our 5 grandchildren stayed at the property while we celebrated the life of our parents, who we put to rest at the BH National Cemetery. My four other sisters & theilr families were at other properties. We enjoyed our stay immensely & may consider renting again. The house was perfect for the 11 of us - didn’t get in each other’s way. Had trouble with the tv, but found out that the previous guests had disconnected the cable to watch dvd’s, some sleuthing helped us figure this out. Only complaint we had was that the patio screen was torn & a small squirrel came inside to visit, but a scream from me sent him scurrying back outside. Written guest comments talked about the same “visitor”!
