We recently stayed at the "Unique Port Ludlow Home w/ 3 Decks & Hot Tub!" from 06/27/2026 to 06/30/2026. Overall, the property was great; however, there were numerous issues, some more serious than others. Below were the primary issues with the property: 1) Safety Hazard (Broken Glass): We found broken glass scattered on the ramp by the downstairs exterior sliding door leading to the hot tub. Fortunately, I caught this before my 8-year-old daughter, who was barefoot, stepped on it. 2) Unusable Hot Tub: The hot tub was a primary reason we booked this specific property. However, it was completely unusable and unsafe. I have attached two photos: one showing its condition upon arrival, and another taken shortly after the on-site representative, Denise, attempted maintenance. The water turned brown and emitted a foul odor, at which point I refused to let my family near it due to health and safety risks. A property should not be advertised with a hot tub if it is not in a sanitary, functional condition. 3) Substandard Housekeeping: The property did not seem prepared for our arrival. Multiple bathrooms were missing hand and bath towels, leaving us with only one bath towel in some areas. Denise mentioned to my wife that the regular housekeeper had not shown up. While I understand that unexpected operational issues happen, we paid a premium for an advertised experience that was not delivered—specifically regarding the hot tub, which is featured in the property's title.
