North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here.

Mid-City puts you at the center of everything New Orleans has to offer - from the thunder of the Superdome to the slow roll of the Canal Street streetcar just outside. This five-bedroom home brings together easy indoor comfort and a backyard built for gathering, giving groups of up to ten a true base camp for the city.

Living space
Natural light moves through the open common areas, where modern finishes sit alongside classic New Orleans details. The living room is set up for downtime, with a 32-inch HDTV loaded with Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, Netflix, and Roku. Fast Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace in the common area make it easy to stay connected, whether you're coordinating the group's itinerary or squeezing in a few hours of remote work. Ceiling fans and central air conditioning keep things comfortable year-round.

Sleeping arrangements
Five bedrooms accommodate up to ten guests with six beds across the home. Room-darkening shades in every room mean you can sleep in after a late night on Bourbon Street without the morning sun cutting your rest short. Three full bathrooms - each stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and hair dryer - give larger groups the space and privacy to move through morning routines without a bottleneck.

Kitchen & dining
The chef's kitchen is outfitted with a Frigidaire stainless steel electric stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, and microwave. Cooking basics including pots, pans, oil, salt and pepper, a baking sheet, toaster, and a drip coffee maker with coffee provided are all ready to go. Pull up to the dining table for a full sit-down meal or keep it casual - either way, you won't need to order out every night.

Outdoor living
The fully fenced private backyard is where the home earns its keep for groups. Fire up the gas BBQ grill, pull up a chair at the outdoor dining table, or gather around the fire pit once the evening cools down. Outdoor furniture and a private patio or balcony round out the space. Free driveway parking for three cars is included, with additional free street parking available nearby.

Convenience & location
An in-unit washer and dryer, central heating, iron, and fully stocked essentials keep day-to-day logistics simple. Families traveling with young children can request a pack 'n play with sheets and a standalone high chair with food tray - babysitter recommendations are available as well. An exterior smart lock makes self check-in easy on arrival. Security cameras are present on the exterior of the property.

The home sits 0.7 miles from the Superdome and puts you within minutes of the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, Trader Joe's, and the Lafitte Greenway. The Canal Street streetcar is steps away, connecting you to the city's top neighborhoods and attractions without needing to move your car.
