we come back every year!

This house is an absolutely wonderful stay. Surrounded by lots of swimming, nature, and great attractions. The hosts are responsive and thoughtful, we always have such a lovely time.

Great home base for family weekend

Excellent spot for us while in town for a family wedding. 8 adults had plenty of room to share space and also hang out quietly by ourselves. Lovely spot in the woods with lots of nature all around.

Very nice house.

We stayed here for the Christmas holiday with some other family members. Very secluded, yet close to town too. The accommodations were perfect. We never felt too crowded, and the kitchen was well stocked.

Tranquil getaway with a fantastic home and property.

The second time our big family has stayed here. The house and surrounding property is just wonderful. Local swimming areas are a sight to behold and crater lake is always a slam dunk. Can’t wait to come back.

Amazing Home and Property

We stayed in Grants Pass for a trip to Crater Lake and this home is simply stunning. Encased in beautiful forest and with plenty of wildlife for the kids to see. House was very clean and well equipped for family time. I will definitely be staying here again.

Nice secluded place

This place is nice and secluded. Had enough amenities to keep you relaxed ranging from board games, books, Xbox and tv There is plenty of space outside to grill and eat good with family. Place will easily sleep 10-12 people so greedy for a family get together. Owner is very responsive.

Beautiful, Spacious, and Peaceful

We loved our stay here! There was plenty of room for the nine of us plus our two dogs. The deck is amazing. The kids enjoyed the board game selection too. Plus, being so close to Fish Hatchery Park was awesome. Thank you!

Peaceful location

Th house is at the end of a gravel road and the location is very quiet if you want a good nights’ sleep, a place to meditate, or just want to get away from it all. It is very well equipped with all the cooking utensils and dish-ware you need. The house is really clean, and has this really cool 70’s vibe to it. We loved it, and will stay at this property again if given the opportunity,

Magic forest

Staying at the Applegate River Valley sanctuary was maybe one of the best places I have stayed with a group that I lead. There were seven of us, and we just felt so relaxed and cared for and held by the forest. The space was perfect and everything in the space was perfect. We will come back many more times. Great family home for relaxing in the pacific northwest

I have stayed in many AirBnb's over the last 7 years and I have to say the Trestlewood home was something special. The house is very large and accommodated our two blended families well with plenty of room for folks to relax, have side conversations and enjoy the outdoor spaces in the home. We really enjoyed the open floorplan allowing epic family dinners to extend into the hours and then shifting into evening game time. The architecture of the home is a blend of cool re-use (the home is built out of huge timbers that were once part of the wooden trestle bridge) and rustic charm. We will be back here soon.

Lovely Applegate House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Colin Road house. It’s a large house and was really nice for our party of 3 couples, with a bedroom and bathroom for each. The property surrounds were expansive and well maintained. The house came complete with a full kitchen, laundry room, air conditioning, TV, wi-fi (more later about that) and plenty of parking. It’s a rustic place with modern amenities thrown in! There’s about a 1/4 mile gravel road that leads up to the house that was in good condition, a bit steep in parts, but no problem for even a low-clearance car. The house is about 8 miles from Grants Pass, so about a 30 minute round trip for groceries and such but worth it for the quiet and country. The only negative, honestly, was the wi-fi. It was available and never went down but it was very, very slow. Likely a rural thing but don’t expect much — we were getting maybe 6 Mbps download (yes 6). We were still able to stream movies and stuff so not a big deal. Overall, a great place and a great value! Would absolutely recommend.

We absolutely loved staying at Trestlewood House! The location is heavenly, nestled in the woods. We loved all of the original art on the walls. We loved all of the windows with views of the trees. There was plenty of space for our large group and our dog. It was the perfect place to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We loved being able to access Grants Pass, Applegate, Medford, the redwoods, and the coast with short drives. When we needed more toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, and trash bags, the hosts were quick to accommodate our needs. The house is definitely dated, but we thought it was a charming time capsule from the 70s. We would definitely recommend this rental and hope to visit again someday!

Family Reunion in Grants Pass

My family loved staying at the house. I was glad I found a 4 bedroom home in the area as most were 3 bedrooms. Very spacious for everyone to have their own space. The house had everything you would need for a large family staying there. It was very comfortable. I was glad there was a bedroom on the first floor as we had some senior citizens with us and the stairs would have been a challenge for them. Loved being able to sit outdoors with everyone at the table. We were visited by the deer & wild turkeys. Very easy to find. Good Instructions. We will definitely stay again when we make it back up there again. thank you

Great property

The house is beautiful and very comfortable . Turkeys and deers roamed thru the yard . The internet was a little slow, but that is the price to pay for being surrounded by nature. We had a four generations family reunion including two children and everyone enjoyed their stay.
