The LED Lights in the guest bathroom need to be replaced. The lights ficker. Beautiful Beach House!!!!

Gorgeous beach memories captured in those photos, wow Becky! Thank you for allowing our 979 Crew to host you and so glad you found the home beautiful. We checked the lights and all seems to be well, no flickering. Maybe it was a fluke or storm related? We will certainly keep an eye on that. Hope to host you again!

Its proximity to the beach was great. The place was better than the description online and the beds were all very comfortable. Very roomy for all eight of us with plenty of space for food and groceries. Just a couple of small things to correct in the master bath, but overall a great experience. Thanks again.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Our two dogs really liked the fenced in yard. The house is on the beach which was nice. The deck is very nice.

Cozy place real close to the beach!!

Good stay! Very close to the beach and the fenced in backyard was exactly what we needed with our 2 dogs!

Summer vacation

We all loved this place, the location was great and the whole setup was well worth it. Easy to check-in and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay.

Excellent location. Great space for 6 people but could sleep a lot more. Large kitchen where we cooked most meals. The beds were very comfortable. A few minor issues came up and 979 responded immediately even after office hours. The weather was not great so we were in the house more than expected. There were games and toys that really helped keep the kids entertained. We would definitely stay there again.

The location of the house was perfect and most enjoyable. The water had a strong sulfur and rusty smell. The smell stayed on our skin after a shower. The bbque area was covered in bird feces. Someone, unannounced, came over to clean it. The bathroom rugs looked dirty and old. The dishes were rusty as well as the towel racks and faucet heads. It was stated that there was an AO water system. It must have been malfunctioning. It did also state that the water was not suitable for cooking or drinking. I had my 4 month old grandson with us. We only stayed one night.

We’re glad you enjoyed this home's beautiful location and regret that other aspects of your stay fell short of your expectations. Surfside’s municipal water can vary in odor - ebbs and flows like the sea. As shared proactively, the home is equipped with an advanced reverse osmosis (RO) water system, and our communication advises against using municipal water for drinking or cooking. When notified of your exterior concerns, our field team member promptly visited, knocked before approaching the home to no response, and hosed down the area and left a broom as requested. With no answer at the door, she respected your privacy and did not enter to replace the bathroom rugs. Instead, our Guest Service Team followed up multiple times regarding the bathroom mats and coordinating replacement if need be. While we’re sorry the home you chose did not meet your expectations, it remains one of the area’s most loved vacation rentals, as reflected in its consistently excellent guest reviews.

Great place and location!

Great house for a group of 10 people and our pups! Amazingly close to the beach! Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to use. Would definitely rent again!

May vacation

We had a very enjoyable quiet five day stay in Surfside beach. The house was nice and the beaches are clean and pretty. Look forward to our October vacation in the same spot.

Relaxing stay

Had a relaxing stay here. It was perfect for our pet because of the fenced yard. Beach access was the best! Beach was not crowded during the week at all….weekend was packed!! All in all a great stay.

If you are looking for beach time this is the house for you! Plenty of room, beautiful drive to Galveston and you cannot beat the views! We will likely rent this home again!

Family vaca

This was our first time visiting Surfside. It was everything we wanted. The house was amazing, the beach was clean and a super short walk from the house. Will definitely stay here again.
