Bluffs Edge in Birchwood Farms - private four-bedroom, hot tub, screened porch

The luxurious Bluffs Edge at Birchwood is located in the Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club community. Nestled among majestic birches and evergreens, this lovely home offers two levels of living space with four bedrooms, 2 ½ baths and can comfortably accommodate up to eleven guests.

The main level features an open concept living area with two beautiful living rooms (with A/C split), gas fireplaces, chef style kitchen and island with seating for four, a gathering table with seating for eight, and a private king primary suite (with A/C split). All living areas offer sweeping views of the natural surroundings.

The lower level features a beautiful entertainment room, Smart TV, gas fireplace, board games, wet bar with refrigerated wine cooler, and outdoor decking and patio furnishings. Two queen bedrooms, bunk bedroom (one queen lower bunk, two twin), single sleeper chair, and 1 ½ baths provide families the necessary privacy and comfort. (Note: the lower level of the home does not have A/C).

Enjoy your favorite cocktails and alfresco dining in the three-season porch and evening around the crackling firepit. The garage is available to store all your adventure gear. The hot tub is available for a soothing soak after a day spent on the slopes or golf course!

Birchwood Farms Golf and Country Club amenities include 27-holes of golf, driving range, racquet sports, seasonal heated outdoor pool, fitness center, hiking trails, groomed ski trails, and Clubhouse dining. If you would like to use any of Birchwood’s amenities during your stay, you may opt-in to the Access Fee of $750 (May 1-September 30) or $250 (October 1-April 30). Please note: Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club issues a maximum of six guest passes per rental home. Payment along with submission of corresponding paperwork completed prior to your arrival.

Host is wonderful and always attentive and quickly responds to any needs. Always impressed by this rental agency as well as the home owners! Everything is top notch. Beautiful natural light all around the house- My only request is blinds in the master bedroom as the light shines through 24/7.

Ski weekend

Accommodations and location were fantastic. Short 10-15 min drive to Nubs or Highlands. Well stocked kitchen and comfy beds. Hot tub too hot for me though! Beautiful place and nicely decorated, perfect for our small crowd of 7. Thanks so much ☺️

Beautiful northern getaway

Beautiful property, fully equipped kitchen, huge living and dining room with walk-around fireplace on the main floor and second den and TV room on the lower floor. Short drive to the ski slopes and the hot tub is the perfect way to relax after a good day of skiing. Nice outdoor deck area that would be fun in warmer weather. Everyone staying with us were quite impressed and agreed this was an excellent choice for our weekend up north.

Absolutely Amazing

Beautiful home, clean and comfy! Amazing rental and rental company. The views of the woods from this home are stunning. Used the hot tub only once as we were too tire most evenings, but definitely a plus.

Lovely Home

This home was really lovely - very comfortable, nicely decorated and extremely well appointed. The location, however, was too far off the beaten path for us. Also, the amenities fee was outrageous, especially given that renters could not reserve tee times in advance for golf.

Wow - Spectacular Home!

Our experience was spectacular! My family of six stayed for a week in July 2022. We had a number of celebrations including our wedding anniversary along with three birthday's. Our teenage children LOVED the VRBO as much as we did. The management team was so thoughtful and on top of things! They had balloons, fresh flowers, and a cake when we arrived! They even had a special bag with chocolate chip cookies and gourmet salt & pepper shakers, all as gifts. The website photos will entice you & it’s equally beautiful in person. I love interior design so was overjoyed to see such gorgeous furnishings, many from Restoration Hardware & Pottery Barn. The beds were some of the most comfortable & luxurious beds we’ve slept on before and the bedding was soft, warm, and cozy. Every single bedroom had exquisite furniture and mattresses that you would splurge to purchase for your family! The bath towels were great and the kitchen was fabulous. We had every amenity needed except food (😊) and a few basic things (like sugar for coffee) but we bought some & left it there. Otherwise, we cooked, just as we did at home and enjoyed all utensils, appliances, wine glasses, knives, cookery, etc., etc.,. — all high end. The indoor fireplaces, outdoor gas-lit fire table (for s’mores & warmth on chillier nights), along with the 3 season room were excellent additions. The washer & dryer machines worked great; and the showers had great water pressure and were beautifully appointed. The dark hardwood floors were covered in beautiful area rugs which made it cozy and so attractive in its neutral, inviting palate of colors. Everything was so fresh, clean & new. The architecture inside was also stunning. We enjoyed the well appointed, comfortable furniture and relaxation after long days of sailing and other adventures. The home is in a pretty, forest covered neighborhood just outside of Birchwood Country Club. While we are golfers, we didn’t golf this trip but the course looked well groomed & very nice. We saw deer, fox, and other wildlife outside the big windows. We hiked on the neighborhood trail and enjoyed the woods yet the house never felt dark & gloomy. There was excellent interior lighting along with natural light that poured in through so many windows. Some of the ambient lighting was well placed & very pretty. The house is in a very private setting, yet it’s close to Petoskey, Charlevoix & Traverse City. We give it 5 stars! We will be back!
