My communications were with seaside rentals and they were wonderful. The house was a paradise. The property had everything that we needed for our stay. Very clean. With comfortable furniture and beds. The view from anywhere in the house was absolutely perfect of the sunrise, the Chincoteague Bay and even the full moon over the water was perfect. Thank you for sharing this property with us.

Great family vacation on the bay

Came for a fall family vacation. The home was perfectly cozy and had lots of kitchen amenities to cook with. The views are stunning, sunsets from the dock, moon rise over the bay. We moored our boat at Captains Cove and played on the water every day. Food and drinks at the restuarant at Captains cove were very good and reasonably priced.

It was very pleasant. The only problem was the attendant at the pool was quite rude and a bit obnoxious to my son and grandsons. When she saw that we were short term renters she treated them like they were a nuisance. Otherwise everything was great!

Amazing trip!

This house was perfect for us.... beautiful views...right on the water....the house was terrific....clean, spacious...the kitchen is small but very well stocked with cooking supplies. The deck os amazing.... the process of check in and out could NOT be more simple...... all in all a wonderful vacation!

Waterfront Views!

Awesome house with beautiful bay front views! Very clean and spacious house for our family of 6. We were crabbing right off the private dock (house provided crabbing equipment) When we weren’t crabbing/sitting at the tiki bar enjoying a drink, we took advantage of the 3 community pools. Short drive to Chincoteague Island where there are lots of cute shops and delicious seafood restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great Location

The house is wonderfully located with the Chincoteague bay as the back yard with dock and empty lots on either side of the house. The neighborhood is quiet and keeps to itself. The stove, at the time we stayed, has one eye that doesn't work but everything else provided was great. The crabbing equipment should be included in the VRBO description.

Beautiful & clean home on a double lot, directly on the Chincoteague Bay, with a private dock and 3 levels of balconies. There are empty lots on each side- so it's private. My 29, 12, and 10 year old "kids" LOVED crabbing. Everything that you need (except for the bait- chicken) is there waiting for you! We also saw stingrays, jellyfish, and bioluminescent sea walnuts (flashing, light up jellyfish-like creatures that don't sting). You could swim- we didn't after seeing all the fun stuff in the water! The perseid meteor shower gave us a great show a few nights too. Check-in could not have been easier- they text you a code. The host answered my question immediately. The house is located in the Captain's Cove Golf & Yacht Club community. There is a community pool/tiki bar/restaurant about a 10 minute walk (2 minute drive) from the house. The amenity fee when we were there was 15 per person for the pool (you pay at the desk when you walk in each day) but drinks and food prices were very reasonable and the food was good. The pool was open from 1-8pm for guests. They were closed one day during our stay. If you have kids and plan on swimming- I would reach out directly to get the pool hours because what was online wasn't accurate during our stay. Chincoteague Island is apx 25 minutes by car. Nearest grocery store is 20 mins away- Instacart delivered, but no restaurants are close by- so no food deliveries. Kitchen has everything you need though! It was a great stay.

Great place. Beautiful view

But! I was accused of wrecking a coffee table. When we got there I noticed the coffee table was marred by some sort of spray. After the stay I got the call accusing us of damage. Very upsetting and never got a follow up as to the result of the enquiry so I have no idea of what went on. Am I being charged? No apology either! Bad ending!

Brenda, I am sorry you were not happy about that, but when we discover damage, we do need to make you aware of it. Had you been charged, we would have reached out to you. As for an apology, the table was damaged upon your departure, but not when you arrived. Thank you, Elaine
