House was perfect size for our group. Overall was a very good experience. Lake view was great and easy walk down to water. If your are there for the lake you will need to find a slip at the Marina as there is limited area to keep boat in lake below cabin. Couple of things could be better as we found the Fridge to be smaller than expected for the number of guests it can hold. Deck was nice but the grill was overloaded with ashes and made it difficult to cook on. The deck was very large and accommodating but it was not cleaned up and the patio furniture covers were full of water and leaves.

Excellent location and very spacious. Could use some very minor touches (sliding doors, toilet seats, etc) and be a stellar property. Plenty of room for our family. Hot tub was well kept and a great addition.

Great holiday getaway

The place was wonderful. The host was extremely nice and helpful. Lots of stairs for older family to navigate, but other than that it was incredible!

Disappointing Stay

Communication was received timely for home access. Entering was only difficult because the door was jammed. Upon arrival we noticed that the deck hadn't been cleared off in some time. Thick leaves and debris were everywhere, and we had to clean it before we could use it. We sat down to start the gas fire pit and noticed the propane tank was empty, and the ignitor switch was broken. Bulbs burnt out on the exterior of the property and several on the interior. The grill was not usable because it hadn't been cleaned out in a long time as well as the charcoal supply was too low. The railing was wobbly and not safe around the patio. We had to scrub most of the pans before we could use them as they had burnt on crud. Water jug was 1/4 full when we arrived, and no water jugs were available. Broken lamps with tape on them, ripped sheets that were really old and thin. We laughed at the toilet paper as it had to have been 1/2 ply. Crazy. Kayak had a broken paddle; we tried to fix it but couldn't. I got cuts on my heels because the carpet nails were showing on the stairs to the bathroom. The frustrations just kept mounting. The owner was kind and expressed that they had experienced some situations personally as well as with property staff that have cause some oversight and she did offer a small discount to us. The owner's husband was extremely rude when we called to ask if there was another propane tank on the property that we could use. He said, I can't help you so you can deal with it or leave, and I will give you a refund. I was shocked to say the least, we had just driven 6 hours and expected the amenities listed to be available. I don't think that was too much to assume. I do hope the owners can get the items in question handled, if so, the property would be a wonderful place to stay. The view is beautiful. The walk down to the lake is extremely steep and even the young ones struggled to get up and down. FYI if you have older family members. Praying that the owners have success for future renters.

Excellent getaway

Wonderful property & communication with the host was excellent. House was clean & beds were comfortable. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Beautiful property

Very wonderful and great accommodations! Owners were so quick to respond with any needs and were very helpful and friendly! Lots of stairs throughout home but large comfortable spaces. Loved every minute of our stay!

Enjoyed our stay!

Nice location and view of lake. Enjoyed the property. It was cleaned well. A few maintenance issues that need to be addressed, otherwise all had a great time ages 19-80.

Family Vacation

The house was beautiful and very comfy, roomy and had everything you could possibly need. The owners were a text away if you needed anything. Thank you for a wonderful week of fun and relaxation.

Great place, lots of space, the only downside is location is remote from grocery store and restaurants, (20-30min one way) but Instacart does deliver from harps, no DoorDash

Great time/Great location

Great neighborhood and lake location. House was very clean, stocked, and accommodated a large group. Owner was responsive and friendly throughout the communication. You could tell they cared about the reception of their home.

Great house for friends to get together & close to the marina!

Great house and space for multiple adults to hang out and cook together. Rooms were a great size and the deck was a wonderful place to hang out (goo shade during the day too). The bed in the room downstairs was sunken in in the middle, other than that, everything met the expectation we had and worked for our needs the weekend we spent there! Definitely would stay again!

Worked out great on Motorcycle trip. Little tight for trucks and trailers but was able to fit in.

Perfect family getaway

We spent an extended weekend with all of our kids and grands. This space was perfect for us. Tons of room inside where everyone could spread out. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Kayak was fun for people to try. Easy walk directly to the water. Highly recommended if you need a place to relax and enjoy!!

Perfect family getaway!

Our extended family met at beaver lake. It was the perfect place for a large group of family members to gather. There was plenty of living space, seating, and bedrooms for everyone. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed for cooking. There was a charcoal grill, which was also great for a couple of evenings. The kayak was so fun to take out on the lake. Overall, we would highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back another summer.

Beautiful lake house

Large open home that accommodated multiple family members. Very nice place with beautiful views. House had almost everything needed to enjoy bbq, cooking and baking! Any issues we had were taken care of very quickly and owners were very kind and willing to ensure our stay was pleasant. Lots of stairs but tons of fun and space for everyone to find their own fun zone. Great rental! One of the top 5 vacation for all of us!!

Wonderful Accomodations

The house had everything we needed, including plenty of beds and kitchen amenities to cook all of our meals at the house. We also used the community pool several times, which was a quick drive down the road. The owners were wonderful to work with and very responsive to our questions. The young adults would have loved another kayak, but they did all enjoy swimming in the lake, which was a steep walk down from the property, but doable for the younger, more in shape family members. Overall, a wonderful place to stay!

Our family vacation consisted of six adults and two teenage children. Everyone had their own bedroom and was very comfortable. The house is directly on the lake. It’s a beautiful setting and a wonderful place to stay. We brought our kayaks and were able to launch from our backyard. We also brought our boat which we were able to launch from the boat dock across the lake. The boat dock access fee was only 5 per day. Our host was super nice, knowledgeable, and always got back to me quickly. I personally loved the character of the house. The huge front deck or the back deck with chairs and table were great for spending time outdoors. Corn-hole was a huge hit with our family too. Bring enough food because there are no convenience stores or grocery stores close. We made some of the best memories there this week.

Great place!

Another great place for our girl trip! The house had enough room for the 5 of us. We had an issue with the new thermostat one night but owners were quick to respond and get it fixed. The cleaning crew need to do a little better with dusting especially on widow sills. Dead flies are not appealing. The hot tube was great along with the beds and the kitchen is well equipped. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful!
